The term “suburb” is a weird one, and it seems like there are many ways to define it. I think the best way to define it is, does the smaller town rely on the bigger town for jobs? From an outsiders perspective, it seems like Loveland at 80k in population does not rely on Fort Collins at 170k to sustain itself, whereas Golden at 20k would be a suburb of Denver because I’m sure many people in Golden drive to work in Denver.

I love living in Loveland. It is expensive as far as housing goes.

05:41 That caption should read 'downtown Denver' not 'downtown Fort Collins' which is only about 20 minutes or so from Loveland, not the best part of an hour as incorrectly described. Freudian slip methinks. :-) See 06:25 for the correct info.

Keep in mind we hunt on that lake and that will not change so if you don't like hunters don't move here

I live 1 block from downtown by the lagoon.
Loveland is in transition, cleaning up eyesore buildings.
We are know for ART especially Sculptures all over town and a sculpture park.
Lots of festivals, many new businesses coming !!! A new In-N- Out-Burger here not in Fort Collins!
Lots of cultural events, 300 days of sun and good food!
Travel times quoted were too long! Denver is 45 minutes and the airport 45-60 minutes (toll roads are fast!).
New Buckee’s coming early 2024 a few miles South!

Yeah you’ll love it when you get pulled over for drunk driving when your sober and go to jail or your 73 year old mom gets her arm broke by a disrespectful little shit cop born in the 90s or your dog gets shot for no reason or you get arrested because you refuse to talk to the police and they don’t give a shit about your right to remain silent.
