Uncle Benjen knew Jon's escape was the important thing, so he stayed to delay the dead warriors and lighten the load, to increase the horse's speed.
Otherwise known as deus ex machina 😂 The shows inclusion of uncle benjen in season 6 and 7 is always to help the starks out of a corner the writers wrote them into and then kill him off immediately. All was a bit odd

Arya does not want to be a Lady. She never did. Since day one, she's wanted to be a warrior. She even recounted a story of Ned approving of her going her own way this episode. She has the same wild spirit that Ned's sister Lyanna had, the one that cause her to buck social norms and reject being a pretty ornament.
What Arya does not want, and will not tolerate, is disloyalty to House Stark. She's made it clear to Sansa that turning on your family is a very bad idea. Arya wants to make sure that even though Sansa learned viciousness from Cersei, and cleverness from Littlefinger, that Sansa is devoted to family first.
Meanwhile Arya has become a selfish, idealistic shell of her former self and feels like she has the right to walk around telling people how to behave because she learned how to wield a sword. She barely even passed the training at The House of Black and White but everyone always acted like Arya was so OP. Ugh these last seasons make me so angry
@@leahmarie112I disagree! Arya had beef with Sansa and is all about family. Doesn’t matter if she doesn’t get on with Sansa, she would still put her before the outside. Her list involves all that betrayed her family. So your comment doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe I’m not tracking what you’re trying to say or missing something but her ideals haven’t changed. She is a fighter and maybe more outspoken but I don’t see the change you speak of.

When I first saw this I was stunned that the Night King was able to one-shot the Dragon. Imagine what it must have been like for all of them to see? All their lives they've been told the ultimate power you don't ever mess with is a Dragon. Then someone comes along and does that. All their legs must have been warm from pissing themselves after that.

thank you for this, this is a relatively new perspective provided that makes sense on arya's behalf! usually people are like "they're just acting/pretending for littlefinger" but this actually makes sense. the stuff with littlefinger was caused by him snooping.

Uncle Benjen was partly a whitewalker and because of the magic they used on the wall to prevent the whitewalkers from going through it, he was basically stuck North of the wall. Even if he had escaped he was basically gonna live a very lonely life beyond the wall if he didn't eventually get caught by the army of the dead. If sacrificing himself meant increasing the chances of Jon's survival, he saw no reason to not take that chance.
Please do a hair styling tutorial for your many hairdues throughout this reaction series. Plus I'd love to know your lipstick combo and a tutorial on that too.

Benjen and the White Walkers are kept alive by the same Magic. The Magic infused in the wall stops them from passing it or even finding it. The only reason The White Walkers can find the wall now is cause he Marked Bran and can find him.
I loved the realisation of what is to come at the end! Amazing reactions as always, love.
Benjen knows to be there because he's linked to the Three-Eyed Raven (Bran) who dispatched him there. Same thing happened when the old Raven sent him to save Bran and Meera.
Her dragons death was one of the saddest things I’ve seen. Her only children, and one of them gone. It’s awful.
And also Drogon and Rhaegal roared out for Viserion. I care more about the made up dragons than the people honestly 🤣

Littlefinger the corrupt politician was turning sister against sister (Sansa & Arya) like he did before with Catelyn & Lysa. He got Sansa's old letter in Arya's hands. He knew Brienne would interfere so he planted the seed to have Sansa order her away. He is a tricky one. Good thing Arya told Sansa she has no desire to kill her and become the new Lady of Winterfell.

Eh… House of the dragon started off strong…. But once the time skipped in S1 it was all downhill. S2 was an atrocious… an entire season of filler.
Seriously? At the moment it’s pretty anticlimactic with the exception of a few scenes… until we see more of the show I’m sure me and lots of other people can also wait a bit longer

In my calculations, we need to wait until May to see the last episode of GoT here. We might even get HotD, but that would take as long as Season 3 takes to be made.

S7 E4 and S7 E6 are my favorites of the season. No dragons, no peace.
1300 miles from Dragonstone to the Wall. The party walked North for less than a day, so, what, 10 miles North. Gendry runs for help, unencumbered, at about 7:00 pm, reaching the Wall at 9:00pm. The Ravens, flying at 100mph, reach Dragonstone at about 12:00pm. Danny jumps on her dragons, flying at 400mph, reach the party at about 3:30pm. Yet some GOT fans (who can't do maths) are dumb enough to think this is teleportation (see comments below).
I think both Sansa and Arya have learned that you can’t trust anyone. So even each other they’re taking a close look at

Jon lost the Battle of the Bastards BECAUSE OF SANSA!
She withheld information that the Knights of the Vale were on the way, letting all those Stark Soldiers DIE FOR NO PURPOSE!
No no, she literally told him to wait for more reinforcement
I don't see it this way, when Littlefinger first told Sansa about the knights, she was unsure of accepting it because she didn't want to be indebted to Littlefinger because he grabbed on to any chance with her. Also if she accepted the knights and they joined the army from the start, they would have died because Jon did not listen to Sansa's advice about not falling for Ramsay's trap. They would not get Rickon back. She was right from the start because she knew how Ramsay plays, if they had the knights initially, Ramsay would have hunkered in Winterfell. She was proven right when Ramsay frees Rickon as bait for Jon. Jon falls right into the trap, leading to the consequences that would have led to everyone being dead if Sansa hadn't brought the knights at the right time. Sansa saved Jon's life

look, if she told jon and jon forbade her to ally w/ littlefinger and all this played out then i could say she was in the right but she didn't even TELL him
they could have made a plan to do this but jon had to think he was going to f'n die because of her
If you ignore that Jon went in the water with the sword and then the sword was somehow waiting on the ice when he popped out, you'll notice that the eyes of the sword were closed until he popped up, then they opened ...for absolutely no reason at all with no context or reason or explanation.
I wanted this to be true but it's just a bit of water getting splashed on the pommel

The dragons are all brothers… 😅 Viserion, drogon and Rhaegal. Named after Viserys, drogon after drogo and Rhaegal after rhaegar. Plus they’re sll referred to as “him” at some point. No sister dragon lol
Ther are she dragons in HOTD (but only the first season is good, they went wayyyy off track from the book where there is soooo much more tea! And much better characters.) But in the books it’s also noted that dragons don’t have a set sex. It’s described as “mutable as flame”, so pretty much they can change their sex. They were probably created that way for the sake of breeding.
I love how Hanna the Queen of fuzzy feelings couldn't even tell there was supposed to be chemistry between Jon and Danny up untill it was a hold-handing level of obvious, because there trully was none.

When I watched this, I literally cried at the idea of a white walker dragon. I was almost so done with this show after that. Almost. I kept on, though. This show, no matter how many times they break your heart, you keep coming back, all the way to the end.
