The movie takes place during the Civil War and has three main characters, Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, and Lee Van Cleef, all searching for a fortune in gold buried in a cemetery. It’s a fairly long movie, but it’s well worth watching.

The “hanging man” in the background, is a cardboard cutout made from artwork used to promote the film, “The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly”, in 1966.
This was the third and final film in a trilogy of “The Man With No Name” films which starred Clint Eastwood.
In 1964, he was asked by Italian film director Sergio Leone, to act and star in his film, “A Fistful Of Dollars”. Eastwood was working on the CBS Western TV series, “Rawhide” at the time. He accepted the job offer, because the film was being made in Spain, and that he wanted to take his family on a European vacation.
In 1965, “Rawhide” got cancelled by CBS in 1965 when the show’s star, Eric Fleming, drowned during the making of a movie during the show’s Summer hiatus.
Clint Eastwood got another offer by Sergio Leone to work on his next film, “For A Few Dollars More”. Eastwood badly needed the work, and accepted the offer.
After the international box office success of “The Man With No Name” film series with Clint Eastwood, the Hollywood film studios had no choice but to take notice,

The hanging man is part of the story line in the film, which start with a known criminal being delivered to collect a reward, and then shot free during the hanging by the man played by Clint Eastwood! To be able to collect a new reward.
As a Dane, we are very proud of this Concert! And the instrument with the metal tube on top is an English Horn, the larger brother of an Oboe.

I have the "Hugo Montenegro" version doing all the theme songs (A Fistful Of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More & The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, Hang 'Em High) on record & on cd. It is one of my favorite albums.

Ennio Morricone, was an Italian composer whose wildly inventive soundtracks - from the electric guitar, whistle, whip crack and coyote howl of “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” to the dramatic choral and orchestral score of “The Mission” - made him a revered figure in international cinema, died July 6 at a hospital in Rome.Jul 6, 2020 and The classic "wah-wah sound" is made by a male voice that has been altered to sound more metallic like a harmonica (Leinberger
71). The altered sound was created using the micro-cell technique which modifies the tone through technology. There are gunshots that are added as an extra sound within the piece.

The 'wand-stick' is the Conductor's Baton. The conductor is there to make certain that the timing is kept perfectly by dozens of people at the same time, because usually an orchestra's performance is done before a live audience. Also, because orchestras practically always practice and rehearse in rooms with different acoustics than the orchestra's home, the Conductor gives them the dynamic adjustments with their signals, so that everything sounds right, no matter the size or shape of the room.
The "Hanged Man" prop was a reference to a scam that the main characters would run at various towns. If one of them was "Wanted" in the town, one of the others would turn that person in for the bounty, and when they were going to be hanged, the third person would shoot through the rope, letting the "Wanted" man escape. Then they'd ride away, having collected that bounty, and cheated that town out of that bounty.
Don't forget that the pay for a cowboy during a shipment of cattle for butchering, which was an all-day job was one dollar per day, food, and if things of value were found (not stolen), they could keep them. This means that a $500 reward was almost a year and a half's pay for a cowboy. I'd guess that the modern equivalent for that sort of bounty might be in the range of $50,000.

He’s a bounty hunter and is always looking for ways to make money. Once you see the movies this performance by the Orchestra will make more sense. This actually happened to 2 of my brothers, our cousin and me. We had a cousin that had died, he was young, but every time he was coming over, he would whistle this song so we would know it was him, especially at night. We grew up on a reservation and our grandma was very superstitious, on the night of his funeral, we kids were sitting outside talking about him, we were laughing and joking, remembering all the fun times. At 10:00 grandma said make sure your in by 2 am, we said ok, at midnight she came out again and reminded us about the time, she came out at 1:45 and said it's time to come in, the dead will be going on their visits soon, now, we lived next to the cemetery, we said ok, it must have been about 1:55 when we heard it, the whistle, he was coming over, we all scrambled into the house, the cousin that was with us called her mom and said she was staying with us that night. Grandma looked at us and said next time listen to me, I heard it too. None of us k ids slept that night lol.

There is an orchestral piece called "Typewriter" based on the original manual typewriters (precursor to our computer keyboards) and yes, a typewriter is featured as key instrument.

The Danish National Symphony Orchestra's performances of the themes to the other two movies in the "Dollars Trilogy" are just as good. They are "A FIstful of Dollars" and "For a Few Dollars More." I've made that remark to about 20 RUclips reactors to this piece over the years and none of them has ever tried either one of the two, nor will you.

The conductor with the baton is necessary because they control everything that's happening. Music changes tempo; the conductor makes sure everyone is at the same tempo. Music changes volume; the conductor tells different instruments to play louder or softer to blend properly, something that the individual instruments might not be able to hear from their seats. The pattern of the conductor's baton tells you which beat of the measure it is, in case you get lost. The conductor can cue instruments to make sure they come in at the right time. Sometimes music pauses; the conductor decides how long the pause lasts and starts it up again.

The DR1 (and National) Symphony Orchestra is the Danish equivalent to the English BBC1 Symphony Orchestra and is top quality public service, and if you make a deeper dive you will also find that they have the same kind of high production standards to make children like this kind of symphony orchestra music for educational purpose to "nurture" their development.
They occasionally also feature conductor Eímear Noone, who is known for her award-winning work as both a conductor and composer of video game music, including being the original conductor of Overwatch, Diablo III, Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, and not least both a composer and the conductor of World of Warcraft and its expansions. So this Symphony Orchestra do not only do classics, film and obviously TV productions, but also Video game music. Just go look up, if they did your own favorite.

The hard work and dedication and discipline to pull this off is staggering, one note out of sync and the entire piece is ruined, this proves that people can work together to create something amazing. The wah wah whistler woman, Tuva Semmingsen (born 13 January 1975) is a Norwegian mezzo-soprano and coloratura singer. She's wearing gun shaped earrings and her wah wahs are in sync with a harmonica, she is amazing so check out her other works with this orchestra too, the other singer I have trouble finding out much about her, Christine Nonbo Andersen · Danish soprano vocalist, born 1985. The composer of this masterpiece is Ennio Morricone (1928-2020) and he is legend and rightly so, there isn't room here to list all he has done suffice to say he has been influential to many of todays composers who regard him as a God, the man was amazing, the director of the movie this is from is also a legend, Sergio Leone (1929-1989) and this movie caps off a trilogy Fistful of Dollars 1964, For a Few Dollars More 1965 and this, The Good The Bad and The Ugly 1966 which are the films that launched Clint Eastwoods career into the stratosphere, he followed these films up with 1968's Once Upon a Time in the West which of course was scored by the legend himself Ennio Morricone, the works of those two legends have inspired many of todays filmmakers and composers, Quinten Tarantino and Martin Scorsese among others
