This brings back memories. I worked with my father to build some house trailers from the frame up in the 1960s. I think they were 12 X 45. Wish I had been into it and paid more attention to what was done and how.

Wow- that thing must be from the 70's! Makes me appreciate how well my 84 model is built as it has vaulted ceilings, 8 foot walls, and 2x4 joists- I know because it had a leak and the ceiling had to be repaired. I would caution *against* filling all those "air gaps" in the walls. Why? Because the roof has no soffit vents and the air gaps are there *by design* to allow the house to breathe and let it dry out. If you block all the flow of air in the walls- you just created a breeding ground for MOLD. I would bet this Mobile Home has a tim roof with no overhang or soffit vents. It might take a couple years, but I bet it will be a problem moving forward. Think about it- if there is no mold in the walls now, that is because the walls can breathe and dry out. Any leaks and you will have a big problem moving forward IMO. Of course, I'm just a random guy so I'm usre you have it covered if you're working on it Drew. Thanks for sharing. Love your videos.

Fortunately, this one here is not mine and I’m not doing the work all I’m doing is repairing the roof that’s why you didn’t see us tearing out anything or fixing the floors. They didn’t fix the floors the way I would’ve done it they used 5/8 OSB not my choice I would never use 5/8 OSB on anything. So this is another company doing the inside of this house I’m working on the roof so I was able to go inside and do a quick video. I agree with all your info hundred percent thank you for your comment.

People think when they see light that it’s a leak but like you said if it’s not leaking, don’t fix it and definitely wouldn’t suggest using that foam everywhere but like I said it’s not my job

Looks like mine did.😂 I found 16 buried electrical boxes. The vapor barrier is very thin, not 6 mil.

I'm gonna be doing my house soon with Tax Return. I personally do not like that Styrofoam though because it looses it's fire rating the first 10 years and becomes like a normal styrofoam and will burn FAST and HOT. I am excited to see the next video!

I love your videos. They’re very knowledgeable and self explanatory but I was wondering, would you ever come to Florida to do a home?
