a perfect cast, state of the art american film craft of the era, a solid "whodunnit" script faithful to the character... flawless! the copy this was sourced from is PRISTINE, the upload the usual channel perfection. one should also note the "milder" application of the "decadent rich folks bumping each other off" plot line, a fairly obvious influence of the "production code" that had been semi-adopted (if not strictly enforced yet) by the time of production. alongside "the canary murder", it is VERY "PG" in comparison, lol. this is HONESTLY the best upload of this film ive seen on the tube, one4allfour1 seems to have both a talent for upload, AND finding the best source material to use... watch it!!! as always one4, thanks for providing the visual pleasures your channel NEVER fails to deliver
Love the films. I would love more from the series. I would love anything with William Powell.

The conception of Asta
I luv Asta---I'm naming my next dog Asta!
I would like to know how they got the building miniatures so quickly just in time to solve the murders.

Now where are my keys?!
I waiting for the grand hotel to be free online. Barrymore's and such a killer cast ..
I'm trying to watch all the Thin Man movies. Do you have all of them? I only saw 2 in TCM and it was a long time ago.
Hi There- I’m sorry to say I do not. If you receive the TCM channel through a cable company you might look online or through their app to see if they’re planning to air the other films in the near future. I seem to remember in the past being able to search for then send reminders to oneself for up-coming movies.
Where is the rest of the movie, this is only 73 min, and acording to IMDb it is suphose to be 91 min ???
Nom The Kennel Murder Case is only 73 minutes long
Robert McWade was a good actor, but i definitely preferred E. H. Calvert as District Attorney Markham from the earlier Powell films. His portrayal of the character as gruff, no-nonsense & world-weary seemed to fit much better, whereas McWade’s Markham is a bit too congenial. Wonder why Calvert didn’t return for this one? 🤔
Probably because this film was Warners and those were Paramount. Powell and Pallette had moved over to Warners, but they probably didn’t consider it worth the expense to being over Calvert just for this film (especially it had been three years since the last Powell Vance film, and they probably guessed people wouldn’t remember Markham that clearly).
Anybody knows that a wound that doesn't bleed is a wound on a corpse.
We still don't know who killed the dog!
Não tem legendado em português?
Got a Don't like for dead dog.
It's NOT a revolver!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would be great in replaying the Thin Man roles of Nick and Nora charles.

The acting is terribly stiff.
