My God, between the barely blinking eyes, the flailing arms that seem stuck to the table, and the housewife voice, our dear Sarah was killing this sketch!
I love how she was able to keep that psycho facial expression the whole time (with like one eye more open than the other and the open mouth lol) Also "that's the twist" just killed me lol.
@@peterburman5193 OK, great, no more straight couples kissing and being intimate in kids programs. There are so many scenes in kids shows of men and women who are clearly sexually attracted to each other and it really isn't appropriate for kids. @@ontheruntonowhere absolutely. This was the one skit where I didn’t think she was screaming at me. I’ve thought SNL was funny until recently. I can have my opinion. She’s just not my kind of humor.

Only because of the between season mysterious exodus. She is funny but the loss of about half the cast this year has given her a spotlight she wouldn't usually have gotten yet.
i have clearly fallen into a parallel universe where the definition of "funny" is radically different. someone send me back to the universe where chloe fineman is acknowledged as the funniest cast member and sarah's already been fired.
This skit featured some amazingly good comedy writing - with one surprise line after the other - coupled with brilliant timing and expression by Sarah Sherman. Well done. I just kept laughing all the way through.
Well the right wing extremists (clear threat to democracy) and their leaders (most of whom stand for nothing and take action based on what the crazies want them to do) truly put in the work that all of these type of jokes/skits originate from. It's pretty funny how all conservatives say how SNL has been garbage since at least 2015ish due to the political openings of the show ignoring that they make fun of democrats also. This skit however, Republicans would say is stupid and makes no sense because they lack all awareness of how clownish they appear to most Americans. I find it to be a fun fact that conservative leaning people's reactions to things come from an area in the brain that's driven by fear. Don't tell them that though. Sarah surprisingly has great chemistry with Colin and Michael. I feel like she could take over Weekend Update one day if Colin and/or Michael ever decide to leave SNL.
Well ackshually...She has the talent to do whatever she wants, but anchoring Weekend Update is all about deadpan delivering the setups and punchlines to create the illusion of a news broadcast, and that's not what she's there for. She shines most as these guest characters on Weekend Update.
