Thank you for the update. I have a place up in otsego county small cabin, and I've been thinking about building a stove for there. Right now I'm burning wood in a small wood stove.
I enjoy just pouring pellets into the thing and watching it go. But there is a lot to be said for cutting and splitting your own wood if you have the time and desire !
Five years is very good considering there is no refractory. 1/4" plate on a woodstove only lasts because of the use of fire brick. I think you have done well my friend.
@@lan2me Yes, I check them periodically, staying in balance just fine. There's a video on my channel from less than a year ago showing the result of my latest test :-)
