No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk around Saltburn-by-the-Sea, often simply referred to as Saltburn, it's a seaside town located on the North Yorkshire coast, England. It is known for its picturesque coastline, historic character, and as a popular destination for beachgoers and tourists. It was developed in the mid-19th century, featuring a range of amenities to attract tourists. The town was named after the salt works located on the cliffs. The Saltburn Cliff Lift is a water-powered funicular railway that transports visitors up and down the steep cliffs to the beach. It is one of the oldest working funiculars in the world and we take a ride in it! We then visit the historic Saltburn Pier, dating back to 1869, before heading to the beautiful Valley Gardens.
A beautiful walk! Do enjoy :)

About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to RUclips. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

Another beautiful stroll! ❤
"It's quite a ways up isn't it?"
"Quite a ways down as well." 😉
As always. Excellent Dave. Nice to see the kids out too. Walking is good for them. Be safe and chat with you in your next video 😊😊😊
I loved this so much. It was almost as good as being there. Thank you. ❤
Beautiful city and amazing beach and scenery 😍
So interesting and such a lovely walk. I really feel I am there. The ladies in the carriage were so excited, it made me smile. Thank you Dave.👏👏👏
what fun place to visit! i'd like to live in one of those cute little tram cars. parked of course! ❤❤❤ thank you dave,
Chúc bạn có một chuyến đi vui vẻ và thư giãn. Chúc gia đình bạn An Lành nhé 🇬🇧👍.
Đất nước Anh bốn bề sạch đẹp thoáng mát và sang trọng. Đất nước yên bình 🇬🇧👍.
Dear Dave, thank you so much for yours video walks ! I discovered by my self the English village . It is very special, so simple and brilliant, and I really like that you do it!❤😊
You are very welcome :)
so incredibly beautiful! thank you for filming this beauty!
what a great place to visit. Thank you Dave.
what a huge, empty beach! It looks like lovely sand but presumably too cold to sit, dig, or swim. lovely tree canopy, even a palm tree in the garden. Thanks Dave.
Nice walking tour in the nature👍 51:05
Beautiful scenery
Last year we got to go on tram down to beach, previous trips it was broken down, we are going again on Friday and sadly it's out of order again, shame because I'm disabled and it was a great benefit to me, love this place and looking forward to Friday, great video 👍
Salut mon ami je suis content de regarder ca mais jai un peut le vertige je vous souhaite une belle journée merci pour le vidéo. Aïcha. ❤❤🧡🧡💜💜🌹🌹🌹🇩🇿👍👍👍
Such beautiful scenery!! The way the Tram worked was very interesting! Very ingenious to use water as the "moving" agent, thereby removing the need for a motorized contraption to run it. It would be fun to ride that miniature railway!! I have a thing for riding trains. LOL!!
This is very Beautiful here in Saltburn by the Sea it is very cloudy
with a great view of the cliffs but I liked seeing the tram and I
really enjoyed looking down as the tram went down another really
great walk and Thank You very much Dave.👋🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧👋
Lovely words as always Roger, thank you😃
Thank you for sharing. Love it ❤
What an amazing place! Thanks Dave!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Another lovely and diverse walk Dave mate. Really enjoyed this one.
Hi Dave, that was lovely! I've long suspected and now have confirmation that I'm more of a woodsy person than beachy!!! The variety though in just one walk is delightful! Thank you!!! Kind regards from New Zealand.
I've walked with you through 2 seasons so far and I've often wished I could be there. Some places are like something out of a story book. Well, onward to see where you'll take us next. Thank you, Dave
Demasiado hermoso, muchas gracias ❤
Nice duality: the contrast of the flat, open expanse of beach and sea followed by the soooo-green valley walk to gardens and woodland. Two walks in oner--or was it three?, because coming out into the residential area somewhat surprised me.
❤❤❤
Wao Nice
I don't know whether it's because I'm hungover, but I'm totally confused by the miniature railway opening times.
Thank you Dave, is their a way to make the camera stable while you are walking? it will be easier on the eye to view.
I recommend taking out your phone and filming a short walk, then compare it to this video. It’s clear Dave uses a gimbal when he films, I am not sure there’s a way to get it smoother. The smooth shots in movies are huge rigs that roll on tracks which isn’t practical in real life.
@@evercuriousmichelle Thank you Saul Goodman.
