I came to know his music in 1984 my debut year in college. It was my roommate, since passed on (RIP) who introduced me to Fred Locks. Hadn't listened to it for a long while. I bumped into it last year (2017) and just can't stop. 'Wall' and all the rest of the tracks. Super brilliant. Jah bless.
Yes, AA, big time tune. This my Foundation music....Lots of Respect to Fred Locks for his contribution to Rastafari Music and Way of Life. Thanks for posting ZuluWarriorz.
1976 was definitely a pivotal point in roots reggae, so many great albums dropped this yr. Legalize it and War inna Babylon and Rastaman vibration and Blackheart man. But this album is a real real classic.
his music is still relevant, more so now than ever! These are the songs tfat gave me 8nspuratiob and still do. Man like Chronixxis still flying the banner. Thank God there is always a messenger stoll comung through and standing firm amongst all the negative music that is 'popular with young people today (Alkaline and Kartel) for example! We will never be short of a king or a prophet!
Big UpUpUp Fred Locks from me a youth I've been listening your music and always found it to be positive and uplifting, food for my soul, thanks for the works.
Babylon has been rough and like dynamite to some Rasta man inna TRINI.. but we as a people must co - relate against that systematic vultures... to economically gain!!! you got to learn before you earn... I think...
