  • Thousands of people from all over the world are rallying behind a New Jersey mother fighting an aggressive form of ALS. In the last few months, she has lost her ability to walk and talk. Doctors say one drug is her last hope, but she's being denied the opportunity to take it and time is running out; CBS2's Lisa Rozner reports.

My sister in-law passed away three years ago
It's devastating disease. I hope they give her the treatment. My sister in-law went to Washington DC four years ago for trial meds but to no avail. My brother ended up quitting his job to take care of his wife 24/7. She was so brave. She was only 60 when she passed. We miss her terribly. I don't understand why they would not let ALS patients have these trial meds that could give them longer life. She was a fighter. She was trapped in her own body could not do anything

It's cruel to give people with ALS the false hope that they can be cured by herbal medicines.
