Lucinda's BEST COMMENT EVER was when Lily and Holden were planning their wedding and Lucinda starts to state all the wonderful plans she had and Lily interjected "well, Mother" we'd thought we'd have the reception at the Snyder Farm" and Lucinda stopped and said..................."OH........cold cuts....!" LMAO!!!!!!!!

I once sent Ms Hubbard a Christmas card back in the 90s and she sent one back! I couldn't believe it. Then she would send me many wonderful poems that I still have. What a wonderful person she is!!

Alan I’m sure I speak for everyone at how thankful we are for you to bring these wonderful people to us on these video chats. When the show ended it was devastating and sad to not have these wonderful characters come into our living rooms every day. You by doing this for us, the fans, means more than you will ever know. Thank you so much. It is so great to see the amazing Liz Hubbard and the wonderful Martha Byrne on today’s podcast!

I literally do not remember my life without Liz Hubbard on tv. I grew up watching The Doctors, and then followed her to ATWT. How the hell does she look the same, now, as she did 35 years ago? So charming and witty and spirited. Brava!

Rewatched this! Every time I wrote to her, she wrote back. Poems at Christmas! What a class act! We love you, Liz! Rest in peace, Liz! You, dear lady, WILL BE MISSED!

Thank you so much Alan Locher, Elizabeth Hubbard and Martha Byrne! We fans really loved this. I enjoyed it so much. Elizabeth Hubbard was one of the first actors I wrote to when I was a teenager and I actually still have her signed autograph which I will always keep in a safe place and treasure! It even lived through an ex-husband! Ha! If Elizabeth decides to write a memoir, sign me up and I would read it! Take care you all.

This will probably be my all-time favorite of these wonderful reunions. Just great. Elizabeth Hubbard is 88 fricking years old? She’s absolutely remarkable and still such a beauty. And Martha Byrne is so fabulous-articulate, funny, warm and interesting. Thank you, Alan.

It is a crime against humanity that Elizabeth Hubbard never won an Emmy for playing Lucinda.

These two ladies helped make As The World Turns such an awesome soap! Also, Elizabeth Hubbard should have won several Emmys for here role as Lucinda on ATWT!!

She seems as vibrant as ever.Always enjoyed Elizabeth's portrayal of Lucinda Walsh and thanks to Retro TV I was able to see her work on The Doctors .Also loved Martha Byrne as Lilly. They had wonderful chemistry as mother and daughter. As The World Turns will always be missed.

I remember that adlib, "Darling, 'Simply Barbara' without Barbara simply wouldn't be 'Simply Barbara'!" And Elizabeth delivered it in such a way that it was both campy fun and completely in character.

Liz Hubbard looks incredible! I used to watch he her on the soap "The Doctors" in the 1970s. This was a wonderful interview!

If Elizabeth Hubbard was British, they would have made her a Dame by now!!! She is so fascinating and intelligent and savvy and looks absolutely ageless for 88 years old!! What Liz says near the end of this chat about not choosing to be an actress if she was a young woman today broke my heart and she's right. The acting craft is almost non existent in today's performers. We have lost something so precious and irreplaceable.

Elizabeth Hubbard has no equal. Truly the VERY BEST! I have especially missed her as Lucinda. This video is an extraordinary gift to us all. I thank Ms. Hubbard for agreeing to this interview and I thank you Alan for your tireless efforts to bring these reunions to us. My heart still breaks that they took our beloved ATWT from us.😢

I missed this interview when it aired the first time. So good to see “Lucinda”. She looks great! There’s one line of hers that I will always remember. A great comeback to Lily, when she was treating her like a child. “I was once your age, but you were never mine” (my age) I always thought that was profound and would be a great line for a song. I wonder who wrote that and if Liz improvised a lot?
