What beautiful yarn you got at the festival, can’t wait to see what you’ll do with them. Have fun and keep knitting
Thank you for spending your time to do this! I have no friends who knit and no lys near me, so knitting podcasts mean so much to me.
Congratulations on the wedding and the graduation!
Hi I’m Sue from the UK I look forward to watching your podcasts every month. You are both so watchable and you knitting is beautiful. God bless you both and I look forward to seeing you next time…..Sue xxxx 1:13:57
Thank you for this joyful podcast. It sounds like a wonderful family wedding. Enjoy Nana camp, I feel exhausted just thinking about it!
You ladies just made me drool through your podcast! What beautiful yarn you all purchased! I also love the ideas you have for the yarn. I have forgotten when the baby is due? So exciting ❤

The wedding sounds so lovely…thank you for sharing it with us. Love seeing all the new yarns. I just cast on The Serene Socks by @threebytheseadesigns and love the pattern. Happy Knitting 🧶
Diana, that pink is your color!
I enjoy watching you 2!
LisaR: It was such a pleasure to see the afterglows from a great festival still upon your faces 😊 Loved every one of the yarns colors & dyers you chose ❤
Also ,Want to try the Daisy , exactly what I need for a cream cable CO for my son - much yarn involved .. Thanks! Have a lovely long weekend 🧶🧶🧶
Wonderful podcast. Loved hearing about the wedding. Sounds absolutely perfect! I was living vicariously through you while you shared your yarn haul from the festival. Lucky, lucky you two. I could actually feel the excitement. I must try to get there next year. I could have a festival out of my yarn closet!!!🤣
Thanks for sharing your yarn haul, gives me an opportunity to live vicariously through your experiences. Wishing the newly weds and the entire family the very best. A family wedding is extra special and a perfect time to make precious memories.
Great show ladies. I am going to the Great Lakes Fiber Festival this weekend. I hope I find as much good stuff as you two found at your festival,
You ladies did some real damage at the festival! Congratulations on all the family goodness!
Haha yes we did!! It's been a wonderful May all around. :) Now to get it all knit up! - Kaity
Thank you for keeping me company while I worked on Summer Sock Camp socks. It was like having good friends over for a chat. Need to check out some of those yarns now, esp. the pastels, I don't have any pastel yarn!
Ooh I love that yarn for the Rocket Tee!
Sorry I missed you at the fiber festival. I was there very early in the day and it wasn’t too bad. Loved seeing and squishing all the fiber!
What a lovely visit that was. It was so fun to see your purchases from the fiber festival. Diana, I love the bags you found. So cute! Thank you for sharing about the wedding and giving us glimpses into your lives. I do respect peoples right to privacy, but it is fun to “see” our friends lives. Happy Knitting.
Diana you look gorgeous in your hot pink salty tee!
It's definitely her color!! - Kaity
I was planning on going to the fiber festival and finally meeting you all but we had a sudden death in the family. Katey your mug is the cutest! I’m definitely going to look her up. Diana you should have a rocket tee kal!
It’s not as hard as you think I ❤️ the two at time process
Thanks for the encouragement! I may have to give it a try! - Kaity
I'm currently making the Brooklyn Raglan Cardi. I'm enjoying the progress. The sleeves are so pretty! You're going to enjoy the Raglan Top. 🙂
Loved catching up with you both! The Kentucky Fiber Fest sounds amazing! Loved seeing your haul! ❤🎉
It really is! Hope you can make it some day. ❤- Kaity
Literally had to stop the video to purchase the Mabel pattern!
I’m on the second sleeve of the Garden cardigan. I made mine in silky wool. Great pattern and I found it quick to knit. I made 3/4 sleeves Mine is turquoise
I didn’t get to go to the festival this year, I had jury duty.😊. It poured rain last year when I was there. Maybe next year😁❤️.
I can’t wait!! Loved seeing you at the fiber festival
You too, Anna! - Kaity
Thank you for another episode. I enjoy them so much. I worked on my Tilly Tee watching today. 🧶❤️
Wow! You were up here in Cleveland! I have not been to Around the Table yet. Maybe I will do the Yarn Discovery Tour again this September and make it a point to stop there!
Saturday morning here in NZ and I have just watched your lovely episode whilst knitting on a wee cardigan for my 3 year granddaughter. I'm about to leave for our annual Auckland yarn festival and after seeing your festival yarn haul, am beyond excited to see what's on offer at Woolfest😊
How sweet! Little cardigans are so much fun. :) Hope you had a wonderful time and found lots of beautiful yarn!! - Kaity
@thefruitfulhands I enjoyed the yarn festival and did not buy any yarn! A couple of needles and patterns did find their way into my 🎒 😊
Best thing was seeing everyone and chatting and going 'oh, ah' over everyone's handknits 😃
I loved the hat from the Mountain shop and I almost bought that Frozen sock set!!
Yes the hat was so stunning! And the sock set is just perfect for my daughter! She is all about pink and bright sparkly colors. :) - Kaity
I love Yarn Birds Truck!!
You talked about the Alice cardigan. Who is the designer please? I just love your podcast so much fun and informative. Have a great holiday weekend.
I love watching you both--sharing about your knitting and your lives. You are so blessed to have so much family around. Diana, your daughter's wedding sounds perfect!! My son and daughter and their families are coming this weekend, and I will have 3 little grandsons here, and it's already stressing me out!! Your Nana camp sounds so fun! One of these days! Diana, I love your Salty Air Tee. I have some La Bien Aimee yarn to make one. And, Kaity, go with the purple on your shawl!! I so agree about frogging something that isn't working!! I loved hearing about the fiber festival as well!! Here in northern CA, I not only don't have a LYS, but few yarn festivals! I'm so glad you found JEMS! I knit with them online every Tuesday--Judy and Emily are so sweet. Kaity, can't wait to hear what you think of their yak yarn!
Have so much fun with you family coming to town! Can't wait to work with JEMS yarn! It is SO soft. :) - Kaity
Always lovely to see you!! Your yarn purchases are gorgeous. I love your pink saltwater tee Diana it’s beautiful on you! Katie you are just glowing! The wedding sounds absolutely beautiful! What a steal on the dress! Looking forward to your next podcast!! You two always make my day!
Sounds like it was a wonderful time for your family. When our youngest daughter got married, her attendants stayed and helped us clean the venue. Such a blessing!
I am finishing my Garden Cardigan while watching you. I did not do it as a provisional cast on. I used the cardigan yarn for casting on.
I just started my Garden Cardigan, and still working on the back. I also did not do a provisional cast on. I used the crocheted cast in suggested in the pattern, using the same yarn.
That's good to know! I think she had to start over so she may have done it that way this time! - Kaity
So sweet❤🎉 thank you for sharing your yarny goodness and the wedding joys . Just wonderful. You two are such a blessing . Cheers from Southern California
What a joy you two are. Seeing you both at the Fiber Festival meant so much to me. Knitters are just so wonderful and made the 15 years I was lucky enough to have Magpie Yarn an absolute honor. Watching you now here on Fruitful Hands feels like we are sitting on the red sofa in the window of the shop sharing projects and ideas. Love you both.
It was SO good to see you too!! We sure do miss you a lot! Hope we can knit together and share projects and ideas in person sometime soon. :) Love you! - Kaity
I just love spending time with you both! And your wedding story! My two daughters got married 4 months apart and moved away! Definitely bitter sweet for a Mom! My husband, daughter, and family hoping to come to the KY festival next year, Lord willing. Is there an area you would recommend staying??
Oh goodness what a time of mixed emotions!! Oh that would be so much fun! Really all of Lexington is pretty great. Griffin Gate Marriott could be good because you can easily get over to the festival. But Airbnb's are always fun! - Kaity
Sounds like a wonderful family wedding. Oh so much beautiful yarn!
Another lovely chat! I’m not a sock knitter but trying the Skimmer no show socks to use up some scraps. So far do good. Is the Sabai tank pattern in English?? I could only find it in German. Have you used Google translate for patterns in another language?? My Ravelry cart is always full after watching your episode! 😂❤
Such a fun video! Loved hearing about the yarn festival, the wedding, and seeing all your makes ❤️
Such a lovely time listening to you. You are blessed with a beautiful family. 🥰
Thank you! Happy Knitting! - Kaity
The family wedding sounded just perfect! Thank you for another lovely episode. See you next time. 🧶❤🧶
It really was lovely. ❤ - Kaity
Congratulations on the wedding and the graduation! I'm excited to see what you knit with all of the beautiful yarn you bought at the festival.
Thank you! Feeling very inspired!! :) - Kaity
Katie, would you please remind me the name of your favorite sock pattern for children. I think it is a Summer Lee design, but she has so many I don’t know which one you like so much. Thank you!
Hi from Ireland. Lovely to catch a premiere again with you two lovely ladies. 🧶❤🧶
Hello! Thanks for joining us!! Happy Knitting. - Kaity
I think you need a yarn closer to the brown color to finish the shawl. I don’t think the purple will go well with the other two colors.
Kaity, your Mam's pink salty air tee is amazing! 😍
Can I ask were you got your cute buttons? I looking for some cute children button and your were so cute 😊
Diana, what size and length are those needles you are using for the garden cardigan? I am thinking I am going to knit this one too.
How about Winnie Purl for your puppy’s name?
I love purple but I’m not sure I like it with that shawl. If you don’t mind ripping back, go for it and see how it looks. Blessings 😊❤️
Thank you!! I think I'll try it and see how it goes. If it's not great, I'll rip back and use the brown! :) - Kaity
