It runs on bitwig perfectly as 5.2 has it fully supported so dont think its only ableton live. Ive used it for a few days in bitwig and actually is even easier thsn installing in ableton. Plug it in tge start bitwig and bsng thatsnit no settings to adjust. Very impressed

It also has poly after touch which is game changer at this price , also the timing is great for sync as master

Bob Powers (de la soul, tribe engineer) said you should use physical faders for stuff like throwing in FX or fading in, not always relying on automation. Making your beats a performance with a human touch. These types of controllers help with that.

You’re 100% on this and thank you for sharing this with us. It’s a whole different experience, writing the faders versus dialing in numbers with a keyboard.

I think it’s quicker than faders and finding that correct setting by tapping the fader instead of twisting motion or pushing up basically no resistance.

Dude, that’s awesome, thank you for sharing this with me. I’m very new to it and from what I’ve explored with it. It has been fun specially since I’m new to working on ABLETON

Alot of speculation around whether the mpc one solo can even handle the stems update or not. What do you think now having used it on desktop?

Hey brother, great question and yes, I’m sure it will be able to handle it just fine. It seems like once it separates the stems your MPC is not doing anything in the background to keep those stems. They’re just audio files in your sample library. If anything is just the process of separating those stems which takes, about five seconds depending on the length of your sample. I would hope it maintains the same quality at least.

Love the content as always. Do you have any plans to purchase a MPC X SE given how much the MPC is the center of your production? Just curious.

Hey brother, thank you so much for your feedback. It really really means a lot. It does look tempting, it looks really nice to have… I hope sometime in the future, I could get my hands on one

Didn’t understand why #Akai discontinued the #APC40mk2 when releasing the APC64 as the 40 is really complementary to the 64 and Push controllers. Still hoping #Ableton will release a Push 3 controller without the audio interface as a replacement for the Push 2, otherwise the APC64 might be a more affordable, but screen-less alternative.

I was wondering if you want to use more plugins why not use the MPC Studio 2

Man, I’m so glad you mentioned this and just recently I started using the MPC software, which has been so much fun and yes, the ability to use some of my favorite plug-ins in. It has been such a huge blessing. I’m so glad glad you took the time to share this with us.
