Get the ACEBEAM L35 here: www.acebeam.com/l35/?affiliate=flashaholics The Acebeam L35 is the brightest tactical flashlight that blasts a max output of 5000 lumens and a max beam distance of 480 meters (CREE XHP70). Also, L35 is offering a new LED option with LatticePower P70 for more long beam distance.
I bought the Lattice power version and it seems great but hard to get a gauge of how it compares to the one in your video. Any chance for a side by side?
@FLASHAHOLIC, ...hey man, I have been watching a lot of your videos, ...keep up the good work! ...I have been looking around for a little while now, for a flashlight that has a very particular set of features, ...i'm kind of new to this hobby, ...and this whole market is kind of complicated out there, ...because there's a lot of places, and brands to search, and sift through... ...so, I figured that I should just stop making this hard on myself, ...and stop wasting any more of my time, ...and to just go on ahead and ask you, ...because you seem to know alot about all of these flashlights, ...a whole hell of a lot more than pretty much anybody else that I have seen out there so far, ...especially by the way that you test them all out in the same manner, because you always stick to that same format for all of your videos, ...because you know that consistency when testing, is the most important thing!!! ...and so, ...anyway, ...here is my question: ...what is, in your expert opinion, (if it even exists) ...would be the best, and highest quality, flashlight out there, ...that would have all, (or as many as possible) ...all of the following features, ...all contained within just one, compact, EDC flashlight? 1. ...has the ability to function on Nichia, high emitters... 2. ...has the ability to be able to run on the Anduril2 software, ...and use both the simple, and the Advanced UI interface... 3. ...has the ability to be able to easilly update the Anduril2 firmware, with an easily accessible, built-in USB port connection, ...preferably, USB-C... 4. ...has the ability to be able to charge with an easily accessible, built-in charging port, ...preferably, USB-C, ...and, has a High quality, removable battery, ...and, has a battery that's also included with the flashlight... 5. ...has the broadest range of built-in, customizable, different colors, of the whole spectrum? ...for example, it could produce the full spectrum of RGB, violet, purple, ultraviolet, and pretty much, have the capability to produce the full rainbow of all colors... 6. ...has the ability to be able to adjust, alter, and calibrate the white balance, as well as the color temperature, ...each gradually, and completely independent, covering the entire kelvin color spectrum wavelength... 7. ...has the ability to be able to adjust the brightness, intensity, and lumens of each separate RGB, color, hue, and color temperature, all independently, ...all nice, and even, on a gradual, and smooth scale... 8. ...has the ability to be able to combine all of the different features mentioned above, ...all together, ...all simultaneously, ...and, all at once, ...because, this will grant the user an opportunity to instantly have access to a vast array of a complete arsenal, of limitless, unique, and infinite combinations of RGB, violet, purple, ultraviolet, a complete rainbow of colors, ...as well as, independent white balance, color temperature, and the kelvin color spectrum, ...all combined with independent brightness, intensity, and lumens adjustment capabilities, ...would make the total number of all the possible different visual options, ...seemingly endless! ...PLEASE, LET ME KNOW, THANK YOU!!! ...OH, YEAAHH!!! ......THE REAL...... ......ORIGINAL...... !!!!!!HECHLER!!!!!! .........( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)......... ........YESSSSSS!!! Just ordered the L35 from Amazon, excellent price right now. I recently acquired the L18 - in that incredible ‘Army Purple Camo’! I couldn’t help but try to sniff out your famous haunted footpath on Google Earth ( can’t be the first to do this) hope you don’t mind. You keep throwing out clues - signs to Wintersett Reservoir/Chapel St, etc. I can even see the infamous Devil’s Head tree! Beautiful English vistas, picturesque environs abound, just wonderful.
Great review! Mine had the same problems at first with the flashing and quick stepdown. Like yours after the "break in period" it works great now! I like the neutral tint and the flood and throw it has.
Wanted a P18 alongside a P17, but they don't have the P18 so they offered me this instead. I like the yellow color. The beam pattern is kind of odd, while the hotspot is yellow, the spill is actually purple-white which can be observed by switching it on while having it laying on its side.
Just got the AceBeam L17 around 2 weeks ago *(thx to your insightful & entertaining review @FLASHAHOLIC), and now I witness this L35... All that lumens, 400m+ throw, balance of floody thrower as demonstrated in your vid...in size that is still "normal pocket carry" to me, and 21700...damn if only I saw this one earlier. This defines my "Perfect EDC Light". Oh well, I'm just gonna grab this L35 next then lol. *Keep on making great contents and all the best wishes to you n the whole team there 🔦🌟👍
I hear all the positives what about mentioning the truth about how hot the flashlight gets around the head and neck. It would nice if reviewers would provide the reality also 😇
The UI and button config on this L series is perfect. I love direct access to turbo without the wonky double press required from some lights. I have the L18, and I look forward to picking up a more all around light from them soon, if they can do a 21700 in 5000k that can tailstand, using this same button/UI config.
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV Agreed, it has gotten a bit overblown with too many options. I'd hate to set it up, and then discover that I prefer a different feature set from the options, or worse, have the pill forget the setting altogether.
I have one and I really like it, one of my best lights. I like the beam color, though I usually prefer 6500 K this beam has a really nice color. This light throws very far for a flooder almost the perfect light I guess my only complaint I wish the turbo would last more than a minute.
Do people, even former mentally stable ones, occasionally commit suicide after watching these videos? I mean, this graveyard-music is completely nuts, isn't it oO!? ...
Would have liked to seen the Astrolux EA01 and ECO3 compared to this. I have the EC03 XHP50 and that little guy gives some of my bigger floods some competition. Pretty sure it will give this Acebeam L35...which I just ordered because hell, I’m a flashoholic...some competition too.
Love that beam profile. I've recently been into floody throwers and this is perfect! Is the spill still usable at the lower levels? And why "updated TIR"? Was it different before?
Thought about irsering one until i watched a video and they claimed the acebeam batteries are junk? Im sold on the light but not sure whats a good battery i should order?
I've had a lot of Acebeam and never had an issue with their batteries. They always have decent resistance and never drop out of Turbo like Thrunite and Jetbeam have in the past.
unusually low on their output claims aren't they???? btw being a non gamer I obviously have no idea where the voices in the field are from but I'm sure I heard Sir Patrick Stewart
Yeah but that’s a big sob like my Acebeam X75. I still like these smaller compact flood/throw lights that makes some much bigger lights that were made only a couple of years ago look weak
But seriously what do you really think of that L35? Has very good range but not great range. Still seems to me your stil sacrificing range for flood. Don’t get me wrong I just ordered it but Acebeam did give you a free L35
To this day I'll never understand a lot of people's obsession with flashlights extreme throwing capabilities?..the l35 gives more than enough throw for anyone..the human eye can only make (identifications) up to a certain amount of meters if your lucky maybe 150 meters..maybe 200 meters..after that your only making (detection)..a thrower that can do 300 to 500 meters would be plenty because it ensures you to clearly see what your trying to identify at the 150-200 meter range unless your using some sort of optics binoculars -monocular etc..

Exactly what I want, a tactical light that throws and floods at the same time, if they can improve upon the L35 that would be insane
It would be pretty niche but I would buy a long version with two batteries and a larger head with more power
Man now I want the c8g, z1, and acebeam. They are all really nice.

I used to love Anduril but Anduril 2 needs about 200 taps inc calibration before you finally get to turbo out of the box. It's put me off reviewing
