I wish you'd do 4 videos: 1) gameplay, 2) extended 3) here's how I finish the game 4) final thoughts. I'm always so curious how it ends!! I need to know!! ;)
Ohhhh so evil!! Go polish your horns!! (Just kidding.) I really love your run throughs. They have helped me conquer my hate for reading rules, and it's turned us into more enthusiastic gamers.
I believe you were using the city space with finished contract scoring victory points incorrectly. It allows you to score one victory points per finish the contract up to the number of pips used on your dice. Therefore, at 18 minutes and 10 seconds into your video when you had three finish the contract you would not get 18 victory points, but only three.
It was already noted on the first video at 19:02 and it was mentioned again in this video at 2:54... please turn on the Klingon subtitles to see where Richard goofs up... cheers
I'm a little late to the party, but I'm really interested. Do you feel like the game is properly balanced when you scale it for different people. I see you had to place red dice at certain spots. However, I think Jen her power is strong by itself while yours relies more on people collecting goods. In a 2 player game, you only benefit from 1 other player getting goods, while in a 4 player game, 3 players give you goods. Thoughts?
Theres ways to manage the randomness which is really only the dice rolls. Even with the dice rolls it gets balanced where if you have really low rolls you can get bonuses to even it out. And there are times you want high dice and times you want low dice so most rolls can be useful depending on needs.

Chantal Noordeloos it will forever be a mystery i'm afraid! :)

Oh, you forgot to give Jen 7points for finishing that one contract! Would she have won then? So curious! :)
using 6 and 5 to move 4 spaces .... then using 5 to take 5 camels?
5 5 to move then 6 to grab camels looks better
Cristiano Radaelli agreed :)

but the power scales based on number of players, so you get more for less people activating stuff. so i felt it works out okay :)
I wonder why my copy came with darker green dice w/white pips ... They don't match the green meeples at all like yours do. Small OCD frustrations...
+Alex M Same here very disappointing , them dice look great
He has the German 1st print. I guess each publisher uses their own dice as long as it's roughly in the same player color
you always forget jens points. ıts not fair.
This game seems nice and all but there is a bit too much random synergy to be rated so high on bgg
