    Description
In The Voyages of Marco Polo, players recreate this journey, with each player having a different character from history with a special power in the game. The game is played over five rounds. Each round, the players roll their five personal dice and can perform one action each turn with them. Each action requires the use of one or more dice, and can be collecting resources or money, acquiring contracts or traveling on the board. When traveling, each player begins at Venice and can decide between several routes eastward, all the way to Beijing. When a player stops at a city, they place a trading post there, giving them access to extra actions or resources for the rest of the game. The higher the value of the dice used for an action, the better the options that may be chosen, but also the more money the player must pay if an opponent has already chosen the same action.
After five rounds, the game ends with players receiving extra victory points for having trading posts in Beijing, fulfilling the most orders, and having trading posts in the cities on secret city cards that each player gets at the start of the game.

Hello, this is an excellent rules explanation! You are one of the best rules channels on RUclips!
However, I did notice a couple of very small errors that I thought it might be useful to point out. I hope it's ok to comment in relation to this. I don't mean any of this as a personal criticism! I'm just trying to give some feedback that I hope will be useful for this and future videos
Firstly, the black resource is pepper, rather than salt (although it doesn't really matter).
Secondly, at 10:38, the explanation of the small city tile ability is incorrect. The ability of this tile allows the player to use the ability of *any* other small city bonus, regardless of whether the player has a trading post in that other city or not. This is mentioned in the supplement of the rulebook. There is another small city tile that looks similar to this one, but works in a different way.
At around 23:33 it's stated that Matteo Polo takes a new contract every turn - I believe this should instead be every *round*.
I also wanted to add a few linguistic points, if that's ok? I am a native English speaker so there are a couple of things I noticed.
Firstly, although "clockwisely" as a usage makes sense, I would always just say "clockwise". For example in the phrase: "play then proceeds clockwise".
During the setup, when you say "At first...", I would instead say "To start..." Or "To begin...". The phrase "at first" makes it sound like the setup is going to change at a later point in time.
Finally, "preoccupied" usually means "engrossed in thought about something", although it still makes sense if hyphenated as "pre-occupied". However, I would just say "already occupied" instead.

To begin with, you wrote the biggest comment in this channel's history. Thanks so much for taking the time to put this down. Thank you for the mistake corrections, i always urge people to correct me because now i will add klingon correction annotations. But the corrections of my english are the most welcome as i am trying to speak correctly and not sound like greek. I also try with my accent. If you see more of my videos you will hear me saying clockwise as well as clockwisely. Now I will always say clockwise. Thank you very much for your kind words
