Can't imagine having to sing this live knowing it's based on bits & pieces of your life. I can feel your frustration when you were explaining how people are jist getting her business. Thought I wouldn't cry over this anymore, having listened to the song on loop since it came out. Just gone through a breakup myself & this song heals & hurts at the same time. Anyway, always enjoyed your reactions to my faves so thank you.

Also totally agree, this woman has still done countless countless good things as well, not sure why people seem to jump at the woman bc of who she is involved with romantically, regardless whether the homewrecking accusations are true or false, it's never been and never will be anyone's business but theirs (also an accusation that will very likely never be proven true or false anyways) But I am a big fan of her, and her incredible talent for singing & songwriting 💕 this album was one of, if not THE best work she's ever made, every track so unique yet still so inspired by older generations of music, amazing.

The thicker lower notes are strongly reminiscent of Whitney Houston to me-especially on the ascending runs at the end of some of her phrases. It was part of Whitney’s signature sound. I was happy to hear it.

We can hear the influence from Dancing on my own from Robyn and the beginning sounds a little like Clean from Taylor Swift but thats cause Max Martin co wrote all three songs

14:47 I just can't decide. It is more real and like naked in sense of emotions and storytelling. You feel connected to her more. But positions is such a jam. I could just have a better mood thanks to it. It was like an escape. This is the confrontation with emotions so it is not an escape it is melancholic and it made me sad. But it is beautiful. So I am willing to choose positions because as I said it makes you feel better after a long day when you tired of work and emotions and demons. 💙
I actually wanted to edit that out cause I'm not sure I stand for it, hahaha! I looove this album and it's all fresh, and I love the concept and red thread through it all. But Positions was a DREAM of an album in so many ways 🤍 so.. ahh. They're both amazing!

Oh, I didn't notice ☺️ We know she's able to do them live, but it's not uncommon to use stems on TV-shows for that guaranteed perfection, so that could very well be right of course. I'd have to double-check to give my opinion on it tho ☺️.
@@HegeOfficial Yeah, she was probably nervous and/or emotional, so maybe that's why they went for the lip-syncing (if those notes are lip-synceyd). 😊
No they are not lip syncing it’s definitely live , if the 2 head voices are lip synced why the first sound like the 2 nd
Yes, the two lines of the bridge with head voice runs on "me" are lipped. If you listen to the entire performance with headphones you'll hear the volume on those parts is a bit too low and her tone is more light and chipmunkish only for those two lines, just like how she sang it in the studio version, while she sings the rest of the song with a deeper tone. The camera zooming out also basically confirms it.
@@Fr0zenPeanut she can chage her tone she has a great technique to switch byw registers , if u hear imperfect for u performance her tone there is clean and smoth than 2 in wcbf . I believe the performance is a whole live .but i respect ur opinion ❤️❤️🙏
The 'know that you made me' seems lip synced to me (it seems identical to the studio version and different sound to the rest of the song live). She clearly can sing them, maybe she had a tough day for her head voice.
