- NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - (Groove 0052) Out of Nashville, this release is the first of two issued by Brenda Lee sound-alike, Della Rae (Moore DiBartolo) on the RCA Victor subsidiary label, Groove Records. Her subsequent singles were issued on RCA Victor. Produced by Chet Atkins, 'Happy Day' was recorded at the historic RCA Victor studio 'B' in October 1964 and issued in late December that year. It features a driving backing track by Nashville's 'A-Team' with the Anita Kerr Singers on background vocals and over the years has become a favored spin among Northern Soul collectors.
