- In this video I review the heavy weight Smart Blanks t shirt. I really like the feel of this shirt and the collar. I saw Smart Blanks at the Impressions Expo and decided to order some samples to test out. Here are the results of my test.

I checked this place out, picked up from Anaheim. Ordered 12 Shirts S-XL Blk and White.
One of the mediums wasn't even the same material.
I found about Smart Blanks by walking around DTLA bought of their XL's from a vendor there, I really liked it but the XL I received directly from them was slightly rougher and less stretchy, the measurements were also completely different.
They all had different collar measurements, different lengths between the 3 (XL) shirts I got.
Between the small tees, one was two inches longer than the other.
I really like the feel of the shirts but for me it was really inconsistent from my first purchase. Hesistant to give them another go.
I've used a few blanks I been using Shaka really good quality blanks I recommend.

So happy you did this review! I just found these tees and I love the feel of them. Been looking for a review on how they wash though. I'm going To wear & test it out because I really love how they feel and all the beautiful colors they come in.
I use smart blanks and they are pretty good. Mainly use their crewneck sweaters and those have been really consistent and quality. Held up in the wash too.

The exact same thing happened to me. Black color, fine, White color fabric was rougher feeling and shorter in length, Red color was softest but almost 3 inches longer than the others. I wish they were consistent...

Appreciate this review. I’ve been using smart blank heavy tee’s and didn’t notice that. I’ve been using them for a coo minute. The collar does bacon a lil easy, maybe I had a bad batch as well. Good stuff big Brandoh 🤙🏼
yeah i dont think all their blanks are sized like this. i really think i just got a miss labeled batch. just sucks to know that the quality control can be hit or miss. hard to justify ordering in bulk
No shade to Fatman but I missed the music--only intro. The music went in! However, this intro of a preview to the video, changing the sign, hitting us with your classic "what's happening, errybody?!" and getting straight to the gems ... I'm here for it!

I agree with you. When I first bought this brand, it’s so soft and comfortable. But after washing it, it shrunk and faded.

Naw it wasn’t just yours I had the same issue in 2021… I also had an issue with the back pocket seams opening up on the joggers

Good video, have you used Tultex? I got a promo card and they have a fine jersey and heavyweight jersey 100% ringspun USA cotton, these are good selling points which sounds really great and the price is good also compared to what I use right now. I guess I will order a sample and see just like you said in this video to do.
ive got a sample from tultex years ago when TSC offered them. i dont have the target audience for that blank so i never used them
Have you tried out TeeStyled? Knowing that you're a fan of the AlStyle, I figured you'd check them out already. If so, are you going to review their shirts? Sorry if you already did, and I missed it.
i havent used tee style or tried them out or seen their shirts. ive moved on from the fit of alstyle since they rebranded under american apparel. i dont think i'll be goin back to that style of blank anytime soon. right now i use Shakawear Active for my standard fit and feel shirt and i use the AS colour Classic shirt for my more premium shirt. constantly switching between different blanks gets confusing for the customer and creates inconsistencies. i only tried Smart Blanks cuz i just seen them at the Impressions Expo and wanted to test them out
@BigBrandoh I see. From what I gather the guy running it is the son of the guy who started AllStyle. They run similar to AlStyle. Keep pushing your kids bro they help so much. Thanks for all the knowledge.

not sure. i buy wholesale. if you set up a wholesale account with them you can buy 1 or 2 pieces. thats what i do. i set up accounts and then buy a couple in different styles and colors in my size to test out

Do you have a video on designs for your brand? I’ve found everything else blanks/manufacturer and everything else but the design I keep going back and forth with and can’t settle on something I think would sell.
do you know who your target audience is? if you do, create designs for them. thats all i do. i figure out who i wanna sell too and i make designs specifically for that group of people. do your research on your target audience, find out what theyre into, what they already wear, what they like and what they dont like. then make shit for them to wear. i have a lot of vids about target audiences on my channel. check'em out
They Definitely have sizing issues...i wear a 2x and had to get a 3x because the 2x was too small. But i felt good about their hoodies. Sized better.

I've used a few blanks I been using Shaka really good quality blanks I recommend.
what do you consider "high quality"? asking a question like that is dangerous. because me and you might have different opinions on what quality means. i have a lot of videos on my channel about blanks i use. check them out for a better idea on my thoughts about different blank shirts
This is random. But I’ve watched some older videos and I always wonder where you got your bins with the panel door for storing your blanks. I always check to see if it’s in the description but I personally haven’t seen it.
theyre made by rubbermaid. i made a few videos about them but they stopped making them like 8+ years ago. i got'em from home depot, lowes and Osh. maybe you can find them on offerup or craigslist. "drop front bins"

@sk8r561mp I order that kind of stuff for my job. I may be able to help you find something like that if you can point me at a video and time stamp so I know what they look like.
do you prefer the tubler shirts or side seem shirts better?
i like them both. I use the AS Colour classic shirt which is side seem. the cotton is clean, soft and heavy. but i also use the shaka active shirt which is tubular. i use both styles. to me side seem shirts only work well when its made with good cotton.

a tshirt that doesnt hug the body would just be one size bigger. thats all. it can be any t shirt but if the shirt is hugging somebodys body than they just need to size up
What shirt is closest to stussy or undefeated?
not sure. havent bought a undefeated t shirt or stussy shirt in a long ass time. i dont know what types of blanks theyre using now days.
I'm currently looking for a really good 1inch collar shirt that has a good fee.... do you have any thoughts on one even if you don't use it for your biz
shaka active has a good 1" collar and so does AS colour Classic. i also like that size collar and source shirts that offer them.
Can we purchase things at the xpo? And will it be more than than wholesale?
How do you feel about Independent Trading Company t-shirts? Looking for something like As Colour but at a lower price point.
to be honest i have never seen anything close to AS Colour. believe me i tried. the way i test any blank is just to buy 1 in my size from every blank company i see or come across to try it on and press it and wash it. hard to go based off of a recommendation when we all have different ideas of what quality is and what we want it to fit like. The shitty part would be if i said yeah indy is close to AS colour and you order a bunch from indy and you end up hating them. get me?

if your audience loves pro club. give'em pro club. you got the upper hand, you already know what blank they like, dont switch up on'em.
