Honestly people think we IB kids are so smart, but in truth we are only good at a few things:
- Procrastinating
- Bragging about how much work we have to do
- Bragging about how little sleep we got
- Freaking about anything that isn’t a 6 or a 7
- Having mental breakdowns (for the record I legitimately broke down in tears the other day while trying to study)

+Kevin Ip What in the fucking fuck? 5.7 GPA? At my school, 5.0 is the highest weighted GPA you can get but with so little IB choices, around a 4.6 out of 5.0 is the highest weighted you can get.

Our library isn't even a library anymore, it's like a small corner with a few bookcases and the rest of the room is filled with screens and chairs

it's basically a form of pre-ib sort of
cause IB is based on PYP - MYP - IB DP and the one that everyone actually cares about is IB DP but a lot of schools adopt either Pre-IB or MYP (program before IB DP to prepare you for DP). They're somewhat different but in the end neither really matters cause IB DP is the only really important one lol
As someone who is yet to start her IB, I can say this was a fantastic video and probably one of the best 'IB Parodies' I have seen on the internet so far! Great editing, music, and the jokes were hilarious!!! Thanks for posting this video!

how did it go? I'm also like that sometimes, it's better actually to have accountability buddies, if it works for you. it did work for me, like joining IB fb groups and stuff, I get at least motivated and reminded to study hehe
@@breeshasantiago3574 hi, I think I managed okay. I submitted my EE on time and I think i'm satisfied with it. My paper 1 maths test on the other hand didn't go so well but I think I aced the paper 2 maths test which was a couple days later. I'll update when i get my results

@@ananyyatangirala it was definitely more stressful than gr 10, but if really want to do well and spend the time and effort, you can do great and learn a lot about how to study efficiently. i'm starting ib12 tmr and i'm also really nervous since i want to improve more after getting my results from last year, but overall the workload is a lot but you will learn how to manage!! good luck🥲
I'm in ib and i just wasted 16:58 minutes of my studying time on a very,very relatable video. now, it's time to stress once again.

I earliest i have gone to sleep is at 4:23 am! I though IB will be like a walk in the park, it more like chasing after a train that doesn't stop. IB is worth all the hard work at the end, For all new IB students every single minute counts when it comes to studying. This video was well made, I loved it. I went to a school that offers the IB program but I never took it. I have a 3 sons now and one on the way. My eldest son is 11 and I'm seriously considering him to take the IB diploma later on in high school. After watching your video, I've gained a little insight on the life of an IB student. It's not easy but I figured if I prepare my kids now, while they're still young, they should do alright when the time come. Thank you!

Man day! This IB school looks huge and amazing!! Mine is just a little connection to some really awful high school. It's four year, so that's a bit different too, but I really wish we had our own school rather than just being a little off-shoot from another high school. Gosh, I'm in my senior year now, and if I could have a school where EVERYONE at the school understands what you're going through with the EE and the IAs and not have a overbearing principal who relates everything to the other school and doesn't even give the IB kids soap or door hinges in our bathroom! Guess this is what I'm doing while I procrastinate studying for my HoA test tomorrow. LOL
