If demons are fallen angels, did they have free will and did they choose to rebel against God? If so, then they also have free will to return to God. This may indeed be a story about a demon choosing to become good again. It makes sense that Dante-Lion put the book in the library in the hopes of finding a friend or maybe even a spirit guide.

This was so wholesome and adorable! The little girl is so cute! I like the part where she was like it says "summon a friend" in the book and the demon was like no, it's "fiend." Then she's like "Oh!"
I like it. It is clever. I have read a fair bit about Solomon and the 72 demons/spirits he is said to have summoned. The way they are described, many of them do not seem to be specifically malicious by nature. his is what is said of Dantalion: The Seventy-first Spirit is Dantalion. He is a Duke Great and Mighty, appearing in the Form of a Man with many Countenances, all Men's and Women's Faces; and he hath a Book in his right hand. His Office is to teach all Arts and Sciences unto any; and to declare the Secret Counsel of any one; for he knoweth the Thoughts of all Men and Women, and can change them at his Will. He can cause Love, and show the Similitude of any person, and show the same by a Vision, let them be in what part of the World they Will. He governeth 36 Legions of Spirits; and this is his Seal, which wear thou, etc. -The Lesser Key of Solomon
Perfectly captures the inherent essence that nobody is truly evil, even demons,(they were once an angel) and in a philosophical sense, every person is capable of doing good and helping others regardless of their background and past...the yin-yang.. there's light and hope even in most darkest of people...
Have you visited death row, lately? Or any penitentiary for that matter. Certainly there's some good in even that crowd, but it is few and far between.
There is nothing good about this film. Why would you show this garbage to a child? Brainwashing them into thinking it's okay to play with demonic books/spells & see demonic entities as harmless fun things? Shame on you.
This actor is giving me a definite Freddie Mercury vibe. I could just imagine Freddie playing this role and they also have some looks in common, if ever so slightly. So much joy in this story. I have known people far worse than any demon. Would recommend this one as a friend.
Okay... She did NOT "accidentally" summon a demon. She literally performed a whole ritual, drawing a complex circle out of ashes and adding a drop of her own blood to salt or whatever. Still a cute story though. :)
I'm impressed that they actually got the nature of demons right. You can tell whoever made this has experience with the qlippoth side of the tree. Demons return whatever energy you bring to them. If you approach them with arrogance and power, they will be sinister and oppressive. But if you approach them with humility and courtesy, they will respond with thoughtfulness. I like that this kind of esoteric knowledge sneaks its way into ordinary media in a way which is unthreatening.
Why do actor's take off their glasses when they are about to reply or make a point. I don't remember ever taking off my glasses in a situation like that unless I don't feel like wearing it anymore.
@@roberthicks5454 Not for me though, if there is a point to be made the actors tone of voice, delivery, facial expressions and the message is what I pay attention to not the optics of taking his or her glasses off.
@@Fred-zk3wv For most of us, that is how it works, but for some people they need the gesture to realize the point is being made, at least according to the directors.

The way they are described, many of them do not seem to be specifically malicious by nature. his is what is said of Dantalion:
The Seventy-first Spirit is Dantalion.
-The Lesser Key of Solomon
a 8 year old girl scared from getting a friend but not from a demon
One of the most adorable child actors. She’s a sweetheart!
So cute 🥰 and heart touching story ..
Friendship is just like that…. No cheating no brain games just innocence and pure heart ❤️ ❤️❤️
0:49 Just the look he had from being told a blunt truth he probably no longer thinks about. 4:16 His worry that she was right about being weird lol
From that day on, Dantalion knew what love is.
What's a demon who knew about love going to do next? That's a sequel we all want to see!
And that appeared to raise a few problems 'back at home':-)
His name is DANDELION!
@@dcmuggamuga407 Sure. And she summoned a friend not a fiend.
I'm thinking that his name is Dante-Lion. You know, like Dante's Inferno.
8:13 " grown men tremble before me, you didn't"
Perfectly captures the inherent essence that nobody is truly evil, even demons,(they were once an angel) and in a philosophical sense, every person is capable of doing good and helping others regardless of their background and past...the yin-yang.. there's light and hope even in most darkest of people...
Thinking that nobody is truly evil is very naive
Have you visited death row, lately? Or any penitentiary for that matter. Certainly there's some good in even that crowd, but it is few and far between.
Demons are evil period. Don't let a short film influence you otherwise.
Tim Burton vibes, not Freddie Mercury lol. He looks like Rami Malek who played Freddy, freddy looked so different.
Okay... She did NOT "accidentally" summon a demon. She literally performed a whole ritual, drawing a complex circle out of ashes and adding a drop of her own blood to salt or whatever. Still a cute story though. :)
she did, coz she thought it read friend instead of fiend
It was written in this odd medieval font, so everyone could make the mistake. I also did not notice the lack of R in the word fiend.
Perfected that binding spell too.😂
You must be fun at parties
@@shadi3269 I actually am. lol
Me and Omeleto have very different definitions of the word “mistakenly”
I guess the mistake was that she wanted a friend, not a fiend.
@@marymintz9147 yeah that make sense
@@marymintz9147
I would hardly call that a mistake considering all of the Magical symbols she got right
@@theprinceofdarkness4679 like, she performed all the goetia ritual perfectly, so yeah, not a mistake, just a happy little "accident" :p
@@ElementalAer
Given her emotional state I think she saw what she wanted to see
In the bigger picture it was an extraordinary solution to her problem
I'd love to see a sequel where when she wears the crown she has special powers. Super sweet story!
Why do actor's take off their glasses when they are about to reply or make a point. I don't remember ever taking off my glasses in a situation like that unless I don't feel like wearing it anymore.
Its so you now they are about to make a point or make a profound reply. Otherwise you might not realize they said something important.
There are a lot of weird habits in movies but we are used to them. They help to understand the inner workings or intentions of people. Those gestures help with that. It's theater.
@@thomasthemenace Is it written into the script or actors just improvising?
Now, this isn't fair, my eyes were watering, and so , Thank You. She was so adorable and I loved her spunk ( hey, that took effort for the summoning ), when he left his crown at the end, it was.... sweet.
Best quote
"We're not kids"
O right royal majesty
Beautifully written, directed and acted. This really was a joy to watch. Thank you to all involved in this film.
Its unexpectedly Heart touching. Life indeed full of surpises that we can learn the value of kindness from a kid.
I can just imagine the other demons just laughing their asses off at this video: "A child with a will greater than a duke of hell, pathetic" and they just laugh uproariously
Would watch a full series of this. That was so much fun!
My thoughts exactly
Billy & Mandy style
@@rafaelstephen719 BILLY!! PUT DOWN MY SCYTHE!!🤣
@@Phazenemesis LOL🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He leaves the crown knowing one day when she is grown she will wear it while forming an alliance with the kingdoms of Hell and Earth.
hazel is adorable with quite the extensive vocabulary .. hearing her say marry a prince and form an alliance took me out, also when she said peculiar. lol to cute, great one again Allen
Kids a natural!
Perfected that binding spell on the demon.
When demon tries to act as human, but humans acts as a demon.
I love this short so much, the little girl is adorable and even more now that they chose my favourite demon as well.
I don't think I've ever actually pressed pause just to exit full screen so I can like a video before until now lol. This was the cheering up I needed
"Oh yeah, that *does* say fiend. Oops!" That was SO freaking cute, haha!
This made me sad, as I had suffered child abuse and because of this I had a lack of trust in people. so I made believe an imaginary friend who had a dog. the boy and his dog where so real to me. I can even see them now in my mind. how they smiled a me and gave me love. i used to see ghosts too.
You seem like a really interesting person to know!
All the hugs and happiness! ❤️💕🌟✨
similar to my experience.
...I think your 'imaginary' friend might've been a jinn that liked you 💀
@@mohammedmiah9553 What's a jinn?? no one will tell me
imagine this being a series, bruh. The misadventures of Dantelion and the Kid that Summoned a "Friend".
This is one of the best short films I saw. So simple yet heartwarming.
Spoiler alert: The film is a. Methphor, kids really do have imaginary friends. However, it's very rare that it's one from the 72 lesser keys off Solomon. If you noticed, when he appeared, he mention being ruler of 36 demons from Dukes. Dandelion is very real my friends, and he's a very benevolent entity.
At 8:30 I swear I thought another demon would appear in the seat next to him and tease him for letting a little girl summon him 😂
This was great. Such a refreshing take on summoning a demon
How can anything involving the summoning of demons be refreshing? Ridiculous.
@@JESUSisGODperiod I watched this again 2 yrs later and it's still refreshing. Different strokes for different folks ;)
"Grown men tremble before me, you didn't"
Frankly I LOVED it! No crazy dark or crazy twists, just a nice story!
“No, I summoned a friend and got you” in disappointment
