Despite a few of your comments about dated graphics, these are the games that still make my jaw drop in design and detail. I never got to play it myself because I was never really a Playstation user-- but it was a game I've always wanted to take a look at. It's got such a perfect balance of everything! What impresses me the most are the Knights- they still feel so human, even with the potions. They are clearly of high honor and regard. But whilst skilled, are just as subjected to mortal wounds as any other human was. I'd say the style of graphics and capped FPS suit it nicely as well! Thanks for playing it, Fooster! And giving such a good play through too, got to really follow along with what was happening.
Best game playthrough yet Fooster! I'm a disabled man, lots of downtime. I watch your videos all the time, you're a legend! your fan - Seth in the U.S.A.

The way you interact with the papers and books like at 2:04:27 when you’re searching and looking at stuff instead of just a pop-up screen and/or grabbing motion is dope. Plus, the melee takedowns like at 2:30:50 where Grayson’s takedown smashes the enemy's head on the wall before knocking him out! It’s that extra effort that you usually don’t see in many games and I really appreciate it. Same with the inspecting feature of weapons and stuff. The game is fantastic, especially for a 2015 release that looks better than even Star Wars Outlaws. It definitely deserves a second game. 💯🔥

The sad part is that while it was horrendous for most of its history, there was one period of a couple decades (after it moved to the new location) where the head of it turned the place into somewhere which would not be considered poor even by today’s standards, including treatment methods. His philosophy was “healthy body, healthy mind” and many would recover well under his care. Unfortunately, that came to an end with the head’s death, and tortures such as restraints, spinning, cold water shock, and starvation were reintroduced. It took far too long for anyone with a similar view to that head to get involved with the place again.

15 mins in, but so many older games (mid 2010's) rlly do look so good for their time. Compared to many games now which have more arcade-y looks imo. But def will enjoy the game.
One great game that needs a great sequel. Glad I own a physical copy. This and Days Gone are very much overlooked. After the updates Days Gone became a great game. Must haves for any gamer.
When Galahad is fighting that elder and it was all wet and matted, it was like smellavision! This game is insanely awesome, Ty for playing! 👏🏻… The voice for Galahad is Steve west, don’t know if that helps you! The voice acting is awesome, the gameplay, so atmospheric! I love a good bit of world building! You might say I Lycan it a lot! 😂
There seems to be a bit of the Knights Templar lore stitched throughout this story line. The badge depicting a red cross on a white background worn on their jackets are giving off a strong 'Templar' vibe!
I can't believe i never watched any gameplay of this or even bought it for myself. This looks amazing and i love this era and i will surely want to experiance this game for myself! Having a blast watching you play Fooster, please continue.
It's not a Luger it's a Borchardt C93, made in 1893. She's still a time traveller mind, getting it six years early. But still an interesting gun, the apprentice of the guy who invented the C93 went on to invent the Luger.
What an awesome concept for something a bit different from just the standard "Copy the AC series"! I love the steampunk Victorian horror concept, and I also LOVED the Van Helsing movie; it's vastly underrated. Please do another episode. As a history nerd I loved a lot of the little nuances like how the Knights' standard issue pistol is basically the C93 Borchardt, the first mass-produced semiautomatic (also the design that led directly to the iconic Luger, since Hugo Borchardt's protege and assistant in designing this was Georg Luger but I digress...) The best one so far for me as a lifelong New Jerseyan is the announcement on the Agamemnon that after departing Portsmouth, the airship wild be landing in Lakehurst, New Jersey... Which is where the Hindenburg crashed in 1937. As soon as I heard that, I was like, "Foreshadowing much?"

Hey Fooster, I don't usually comment on your videos (though I enjoy them very much). Just wanted to say, stay safe with all that going on in the UK right now. Greetings from Germany.
Hey Fooster, combat veteran here, empathy in war will get you killed. You must numb your emotions and operate without compassion. Logic, situational awareness, and the mission are your only concern. There are rare moments in which you can exercise compassion and empathy, but it puts you at extreme risk of being stabbed in the back.
@jmgonzales7701 Yes. In war, your only purpose is to win freedom for yourself and those who either cannot or will not fight for themselves. You're there to kill or force the surrender of the oppressors. It's difficult or impossible to do that with your mind filled with empathy, compassion, or sympathy. In order to kill, you must become death. That is the major cause of PTSD for combat veterans. The second major cause of PTSD is fear. The 3rd major cause of PTSD is compassion and empathy. The first results in guilt for what you did. The second results in shame for what you didn't do. The third results in overwhelming sadness and guilt for what you witnessed or could not prevent. I suffer from the 3rd cause of PTSD. So I can assure you that compassion, sympathy, and empathy will destroy you during and after war.
Eh, I kinda agree and disagree. Rather than numbing your emotions, a dangerous act that usually results in PTSD as you said, but also clouds your judgement - you need to compartmentalize. The risk of becoming numb to such atrocities as killing people can easily make you into something worse than whatever you might be fighting. Trust me, people can get used to, even comfortable, with just about everything.
@Altair1243WAR We do separate our emotions. We develop very close bonds within our team and support members. We become fiercely loyal to each other and form a relationship that is often stronger than the relationship we have with blood relatives. I have shed many tears with my brothers-in-arms over the loss of a teammate. But, during combat, patrol, and the aftermath of combat, you shut down your emotions and focus on attention to detail and situational awareness. You enter combat with a laser focus on keeping yourself and your team alive and accomplishing the mission. Nothing else matters. You do everything possible to ensure the safety of civilians, but you never let civilian casualties distract you. Not during combat or the inevitable cleanup that comes after. You can have truly remarkable/life altering interactions with civilians in a secured non combat zone, but you still keep your guard up.
I remember when this came out a lot of people disliked it as it seemed like more of a tech demo for the ps4 than a full game. It’s short but it’s still a fun ride imo
It’s amazing how this snatches your attention off the rip, I agree with you sir fooster, if this was a series. The graphics are superb, the voice acting superb, sound design superb, incredible story, whats not to like? Absolutely we want you to play more, and your the right RUclipsr to do it!
The fact the lycan speaks and actually rubs their fingers in the blood and sniffs it instead of just being some feral manbeast is a very cool style of lycan you don't see often.
when i heard the word "ripper" i just got instant chills because it brought my mind back to the incredible Days gone gameplay of yours. It was the best game i had ever and probaply will newer see and when it was played by you, that is just the best possible pair on the face of the earth.
Fooster, this game is awesome. I'm the same when it comes to London in this era, being also from the UK. I love the van helsing vibes (also one of my favourites), but I also get assassin creed vibes. I love the weapons, the story is quite gripping, and it's all around great so far. And it made me laugh when you mentioned the cup of tea.. Being a brit myself I could relate 😂. Amazing work, thank you for the long videos recently, your doing great. As long as you are happy, that's all that matters. Much love bro x
Fun 'knights of the round table' tidbit. Sir Galahad is considered the 'perfect' knight for his gallantry and purity, even more so than all the other knights of the round table. He is exalted above all other knights and was the only one worthy enough to have the holy grail revealed to him.
This game needs a sequel, a TV series akin to BTVS, and a movie deal. I absolutely adore the lore behind this. There is an absolute conceptual genius behind this storyline
RIP Ready At Dawn…….so sad we’ll never see a sequel to this phenomenal experience. Yes, it’s short. Yes, it’s extremely linear. BUT it’s a fantastic story, incredible voice performances, and superb visuals. A true underrated gem in my opinion.
I love Fooster man. Playing a game about hunting werewolves. Hears a snarling creature attacking people at the beginnging…”I wonder what that could be” 😂
Steampunk Werewolf-hunting Knights of The Round Table? I am SO here for it!

Fooster, good on you for mentioning 007 and Q! That's exactly what I thought too LOL! And uhhh killer editing there Fooster! Especially in the brothel lol. Very well done. We saw nothing and didn't miss any of the uhm appropriate action lol. "That's a lot of naked" HAHAHAHA!!!
ROFL "I'm going to snap your ankles into dust" I totally lost it over that! 😂
your enthusiasm for this game (and all games, really) is genuinely one of the main things that keeps me working in game dev, Fooster. it's always been my dream job, but holy hell - there's so much negativity and hate this field! but your videos are just pure joyful antidote. so thank you, Fooster!
15 mins in, but so many older games (mid 2010's) rlly do look so good for their time. Compared to many games now which have more arcade-y looks imo. But def will enjoy the game.
I just rewatched Van Helsing the other day. Freaking love that movie and Underworld is underrated. This game is beautiful!
I love the Underworld series
One great game that needs a great sequel. Glad I own a physical copy. This and Days Gone are very much overlooked. After the updates Days Gone became a great game. Must haves for any gamer.
Man.....I thought this sunday was gonna suck seeing as I feel like crap but gal damn Fooster here you go giving us a 2 hour video. God bless brother.
Yeeees a Lycan game from the 1800s. This is right up my alley! Getting the popcorn ready for a Fooster Movie night 🍿 alriiiight.
Hope you enjoy! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 😊 more on the way tomorrow
There seems to be a bit of the Knights Templar lore stitched throughout this story line. The badge depicting a red cross on a white background worn on their jackets are giving off a strong 'Templar' vibe!
The knights thing is very unique I enjoyed it a lot 😊
I can't believe I slept on this game. It has been absolutely fantastic and can't wait to see more of it.
The world building here is insane.
I am really upset we never got a sequel to this.
Please, OH PLEASE! Give me another episode at once. This was the most fun I've had watching something in years.
Ya know, here in America, we threw a whole bunch of tea off a ship once. 😂😂
I drink coffee anyway 😏
I can't believe i never watched any gameplay of this or even bought it for myself. This looks amazing and i love this era and i will surely want to experiance this game for myself!
Having a blast watching you play Fooster, please continue.
12:56 Damnnn she time traveling! Got a Luger 12 years before it became real lol
It's not a Luger it's a Borchardt C93, made in 1893. She's still a time traveller mind, getting it six years early. But still an interesting gun, the apprentice of the guy who invented the C93 went on to invent the Luger.
Very cool btw but I don't think they had thermite guns in that time period either 😂
Really enjoyed watching this game, but Fooster, u take to another level. Keep it up dude
Mate, Finding your channel has seriously made me very happy! You are now my favourite RUclipsr! I found your Days Gone videos and they made me download and play it for the first time! I am currently at the point where we go n get Boozers dog! I commend you on how you play and immerse yourself in the game and story! I have found myself watching many of your vids for the last few days! It is an absolute pleasure watching and following you while you play and most importantly while you enjoy your games! From the deepest centre of my old gaming heart, THAAANK YOU! Please keep making content and know that you have reinstalled my passion for gaming that I lost due to my own injuries and insomnia, you are a pleasure to watch! Thanks again mate and G'day from Australia 😊
I have wanted to play this game for so long but I don't have a Playstation! Thank you for playing! This is the next best thing. ❤❤🎉 Watching my favorite content creator playing it is awesome.
❤
If you don't see games set in the UK often, vampyr(I think that's how it's spelled) is on steam and centers around London
Hey Fooster, I don't usually comment on your videos (though I enjoy them very much). Just wanted to say, stay safe with all that going on in the UK right now. Greetings from Germany.
The drip and weaponry in this game are just... *chef's kiss.*
Hey Fooster, combat veteran here, empathy in war will get you killed. You must numb your emotions and operate without compassion. Logic, situational awareness, and the mission are your only concern. There are rare moments in which you can exercise compassion and empathy, but it puts you at extreme risk of being stabbed in the back.
will sympathy in war get u killed?
@@angelsandfaes It was an honor to serve the citizens of the USA
@54:16 you mentioned the tech reminds you of James Bond. To me it gives off League of Extraordinary Gentleman vibes.
Good call! To me it gives Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman vibes
Thanks for the upload fooster!!!
Damn that's good story telling..can't wait to continue it.
I'm with you for a show . If HBO get their hands on it, it would be a cracking tv series.
Love your commentary on your gameplay... makes your content that much better; which is already superb.
Thanks Pete means a lot
I literally got the platinum on this yesterday after buying it on sale a couple days ago. And now this pops up. Awesome.
Hope you enjoyed Rick
Amazing video as always fooster. Happy to hear the mention of underworld lol, bloody good movie series
This game needs a sequel and live action movie ASAP🔥
Galahad sounds like the guy who played Thorin Oakenshield in the hobbit movies. Richard something
NEEDED THIS OMG istg fooster your the best at selecting games
how does a nine year old game look better than most triple a games today? 🥶
Why is there an apostrophe in breeds? That implies ownership in certain sentence structures..
I remember when this came out a lot of people disliked it as it seemed like more of a tech demo for the ps4 than a full game. It’s short but it’s still a fun ride imo
Arthur Morgan is the only video game death I almost cried over. What a great game.
OMFG LOL Fooster!!!!! Just as I was so so invested, it was the end! LOL I love the longer vids. PLEASE continue! lol
30:50 she just has a wee flask of whiskey 🤣😂😂
It’s amazing how this snatches your attention off the rip, I agree with you sir fooster, if this was a series. Everything in my life would be canceled until I finished it😂 this game will have you putting adulting to the side for a lil bit 😂…appreciate your wonderful commentary & sharing this with us all. Hope you have blessed day fam. 💯🙏🏽✌🏽
Same to you ❤
Hi mister hippo eggs
😂😂😂
👋
I recently found this channel, and it's helped me immensely.
You're so wholesome, you're very soothing, and I find myself laughing and finding more details.
I truly love the long form content you have, it's always playing in my house recently, and it's kind of like hanging out with a friend.
Thank you fooster
Whats up with games being nearly or over 10 years old and looking and being better than a lot of triple A games😂
The fact love was part of making games back then. Now it's all about money.
The quick time event when he runs into the cockpit but rooster fails it so he just gets shot and slumped over was so funny 😂 reminded me of that one pineapple express scene lmao
Fooster I seriously love, love, loooove all your content, and I am beyond ecstatic that you have started making some of your videos much longer than you use to, even full play throughs in fact..!!! But will we ever have the opportunity to ever enjoy any actual LIVE streams from you in the future..?? It would be so awesome to get to seem like we are actually there with you while you play and best of all have the opportunity to talk to you directly through Chat..!!
Dude, this game is awesome, I am really enjoying it. And the same way people can't believe that AI is a 2014 game cause it looks so amazingly good, I also can't believe this is a 2015 game, because it looks amazing. The graphics are superb, the voice acting superb, sound design superb, incredible story, whats not to like? Absolutely we want you to play more, and your the right RUclipsr to do it!
disappointed, missed his chance. should have said drop a lycan instead of drop a like on this video.
I had to put my resolution to the max in order to see anything. The rainy London atmosphere does numbers on the quality in RUclips
I remember playing/beating this game. I always knew it was way too short. Glad to see ya playing it.
I remember the order dam. This is a PS4 GAME incredible graphics and awesome storytelling. You must make a part 2.
Fun 'knights of the round table' tidbit. Sir Galahad is considered the 'perfect' knight for his gallantry and purity, even more so than all the other knights of the round table. He is exalted above all other knights and was the only one worthy enough to have the holy grail revealed to him.
Absolutely love this game play. You truly have mastered your craft as a content creator. FOOSTER thank you.
They did an awesome job in this game. The graphics, the realism in design of buildings and weapons. Very well done
This game needs a sequel, a TV series akin to BTVS, and a movie deal. I absolutely adore the lore behind this. There is an absolute conceptual genius behind this storyline
This actually caused me to buy all underworld DVDs 😂 thanks for reminding me of those films 🙌
15:45 Fooster: "I can't wait to find out what's going on with all of this". Me, having played the game already: Yeah... Me too buddy. Me too.
Waiting til I can just chill and watch. Stoked to see this. Always wanted to play but never did sadly.
Omg! This is one of my favorite games❤ I'm so excited to watch you play, you're going to love it, especially the weapons.
This has been fantastic! I hope to see more of it soon. 😍
RIP Ready At Dawn…….so sad we’ll never see a sequel to this phenomenal experience. Yes, it’s short. Yes, it’s extremely linear. BUT it’s a fantastic story, incredible voice performances, and superb visuals. A true underrated gem in my opinion.
Yes! I adored the Van Helsing movie, the Hyde intro alone was so well done.
I love watching you fooster! You have no idea how much you've gotten me through
I love Fooster man. Playing a game about hunting werewolves. Hears a snarling creature attacking people at the beginnging…”I wonder what that could be” 😂
