Dmitriy Aleksandrovich Muserskiy (Russian: Дмитрий Александрович Мусэрский born 29 October 1988) is a Russian volleyball player, a member of Russia men's national volleyball team and the Russian club Belogorie Belgorod, 2012 Olympic Champion, 2013 European Champion, gold medalist of the 2011 World Cup, multimedalist of the World League. Muserskiy is currently considered one of the world's tallest athletes.
Muserskiy started playing volleyball at the age of 8 under the guidance of Boris Osnach. In 2006 Muserskiy defended the colors of the junior national team. On the 4th of June, 2010, in Yekaterinburg, in his first match for the Russia national team against rivals from the United States in the FIVB World League Muserskiy scored 13 points and became the best scorer of the Russian team that day. Musersky in 2011 with Russian national team won the World League, also won the prize for the Best on the Pitch, and the World Cup. He won Olympic Games London 2012 and World League 2013 and European Championship 2013.

@@kriss3285 '6'2" is about 188 cm. For a man that's tall but for a volleyball player it's on a short side considering that he plays against players that are on an average 6'6" and up. Nishida has amazing leaping ability and very dynamic swing spiking the ball. He is just a pleasure to watch because he is so hard to stop at the net.

ну как минимум есть еще машина под названием Симон и бразилец Лукас, что собственно никак не умаляет достижений Мусэрского
Bruck Bond оба слабее Малыша на блоке - мало кто так читает вражеского пасующего, как он.
А лучший всех времен по чтению игры - Андрей Егорчев.
Мусэрский очень нестабильный, может один турнир отыграть как лучший игрок мира, а следующий провалить даже не имея травм, затем снова играет хорошо. Я после 2013 года думал он будет явным топом на долгие годы, тогда еще и Белогорье было на высоте выигрывая все что можно, но увы. Будем надеяться что Чемпионат Мира Дима проведет на максимальных оборотах.
Лучший волейболист в истории это Леон ИМХО.

I think muserskiy is better in open or opposite. I remember during london olympics they almost lost the game when he was possitioned as middle for first 2 sets and they lost the sets but on third set he was possitioned as open hitter thats when they demolished the brazil team.

He' is already tall then he can jump high too!! The eff you really need to watch your head if he is jumping and he is quick too standing at 218 cm, that's quick for a big guy and also he is so humbllleee a gentle giant 💜
Is not jumping that High i'm a bad jumper i'm 190 cm and hit at 305cm he's almost 30 cm taller and hit 30 cm higher so he don't jump that high ! (But he still is a monster !) i really love him !!!
