| Dmitriy Muserskiy (Russian: Дмитрий Мусэрский born 29 October 1988) is a Russian volleyball player, a member of Russia men's national volleyball team and the Russian club Belogorie Belgorod, 2012 Olympic Champion, 2013 European Champion, gold medalist of the 2011 World Cup, multimedalist of the World League. Muserskiy is currently considered one of the world's tallest athletes.

Muserskiy started playing volleyball at the age of 8 under the guidance of Boris Osnach. In 2006 Muserskiy defended the colors of the junior national team. On the 4th of June, 2010, in Yekaterinburg, in his first match for the Russia national team against rivals from the United States in the FIVB World League Muserskiy scored 13 points and became the best scorer of the Russian team that day. Musersky in 2011 with Russian national team won the World League, also won the prize for the Best on the Pitch, and the World Cup. He won Olympic Games London 2012 and World League 2013 and European Championship 2013.

An all around attacker. I cannot forget how he played opposite in the 2012 Olympics after 2 sets down against Brazil and he carried the team for the Gold medal

it was ultraamazing game, olimpic grandfinal 2012, Rus - Bra. Losing 0:2 russian coach go all-in and change line up, so Muserskiy have to play as diagonal. One of the best and powerful comeback in volleyball history.
He was unstoppable in the finals of Olympics 2012. He made mighty Brazil look so fragile in the last three sets. ♥

It's not only his height. He waits for the spiked and then he brings is iron wall against him. Such a player can be so frustrating for the opposite site but on the other hand he is just so nice and apologize every time he hits somebody in the face... I love him

He and Gamova are the perfect example the height with so much talent.
Well he's not just tall like some players are. He's a very complete volleyball player as well and that combination makes him extremely dangerous for opponents and valuable for his own teams.

Well, when you have that height it's very difficult: spike over him anywhere in the net. Block Him or save the ball when He spikes it. Because he's so tall his spikes are hard and between the net and the 10 foot line. The only person that I know that could do that was MIREYA LUIS ( sh'e's half of his side but her vertical jump was incredible)

I saw a lot of his games, he often makes mistakes: he loses serves, hits out-of-bounds, does not have time to catch the ball. But he is still one of the best volleyball players in the world.
