I’m in bed 23.5 hours a day so even though the cost it extremely high, the value for someone like me is unmatched. I hope it arrives quickly so I can see if I get any relief at all. Also, thank you for showing a curvy woman. A lot of sleep reviews don’t reflect someone like me and it’s good to know you’re evaluating with people of all shapes.
This is a new one for me, i had never heard of it before. Im new to Tuck sleep but so far i have learned lots about new models and brands. I think this is an amazing concept and very different than anything i have ever seen...sure does put sleep number to shame. The ability to customize the chambers for the perfect feel. Love this bed and need to look into it a bit more.
Regarding all the comments here about price... yes, it is like any other high quality investment. You generally get what you pay for. This bed is marketed at those who can afford to invest in it. Sometimes it’s just a matter of looking at your budget and reprioritizing - cutting back in other areas. Most of us waste a lot of $$ on less valuable things over time.
So Tuck, this is an excellent review. I was hoping to find current owners reviews in the comments. I find myself currently in the process of purchasing one right now which is quite the chore as ReST is currently backlogged tremendously. Prior to deciding we checked them out on THE BBB and found that they enjoy a B rating with some complaints which mostly have been worked out, but not all. I'll explain. Their complaints had nothing to do with product as anyone who has researched them can tell they make an outstanding product. The complaints had to do with lead times and refunds. Now, to their credit, they are responding to the complaints by upgrading customer orders to their more expensive model or offering discounts. The complaints which haven't been worked out have to do with refunds not being delivered in a timely manner.........As for my situation, I suffer with spinal stenosis and currently sleep or try to sleep on a Tempurpedic Grand Bed which was once an excellent choice for me but given my current disability, is no longer a good fit. I have found a dealer who has the Rest Original bed, brand new and in the box in his warehouse....Having done extensive research and trying Sleep Number, as well as King Koil Smartlife, I believe ReST is going to be the best fit for me. I've watched this video a couple of times and found it helpful in making my purchasing decision..... I hope to have the bed in my home in the next couple of weeks and will give it a good 60 day test ride before coming back to give an experienced review. Again, Thank you!
@@mrficxit1785 Yes. We received the ReST mattress in late April and have loved it since. We have it set so it senses pressure points as we move and adjusts. The motor (Pump) isn't very loud at all so keeping it set to change through the night is not a problem. It can be a pretty firm mattress fully inflated or a very soft (Too soft) mattress when less filled. All in all, a very good purchase for us. Of course the two sides are totally independent of each other with each side having its own pump and app. I hope this helps.
I have always loved the Idea of beds like this and Select comfort beds. Especially since I never know what I want. So being able to adjust to get it right seem right up my alley. They are usually just way out of my budget even my imaginary budget..lol This bed is perfect for me or well its pretty much perfect for everyone. LOVE IT. As soon as I win the lottery I am getting a bed like this..lol Thank you for your reviews. I was unaware of this bed.
This review is extremely well done, but it's now out of date, so it would be nice to see an update to this review since they seem to have addressed some of the weaknesses you pointed out. Also, I noticed you have a review of the Solaire, and it would be nice to see you do a review of SelectABed's Air-Pedic and Personal Comfort's Rejuvenation beds, which seem to me to be the ReST bed's biggest competitors quality-wise.
Never heard of this bed but its way out of my price range to even consider. I like the fact that its great for back pain and works well for athletes. Seems like an interesting bed
Great video review! I didn't see mention of the Gel Grid option that's offered on the website (that I noticed). I'm curious what exactly the gel grid is and if it would change the feel of the mattress?
Looks like a fantastic bed for people who'd want maximum customization! This bed seems like a sleep number bed on steriods, are these smart beds relatively new or have they been around for a while? And do you think these smart beds are the "future" of mattresses?
Air beds have been around for a while, but they're still pretty niche (and ex$pen$ive!), so not every major company has decided to go down that road. Time will tell if they're implemented more into the future! 💫
I really want this bed but after reading what people are dealing with on reddit, I might pass. Someone was waiting 8 months and still did not get their bed. Just a 5 zone king foam... wish there were more alternatives like this.
Might be helpful for someone with chronic pain to have the adjustability, but I don’t need all the tech right now, at this point in my life. Cool idea though! Maybe this is where sleep science is going. If that’s the case, perhaps prices will become more affordable on this bed-type over next few years. We will see!
I think I could be a fan of this mattress but I just can't get the image of sleeping on a camping/travel blow up mattress out of my head. The type of bounce of those blow up mattresses didn't feel good. It was a constant reminder of sleeping on air. BUT with the memory foam layer over the air chambers I'm sure it's much much different from what I'm thinking. I like the edge support this mattress has. It looked even better then most all foam mattresses. It would be nice to be able to adjust the bed to my liking at a moments notice and tech stuff is kind of fun..until the power goes out😯..haha. I think I would like it if I tried it out.
The term "air bed" can be a turn off, but the ReST feels like a traditional mattress! We didn't feel the air chambers at all under the plush gel memory foam. Thank you for watching our review, Brandon! 👍
Expensive for sure. Would love to try it, but out of my price range. What happens when my kids repeatedly jump up and down on it and treat it like a trampoline? Just curious.
Hi MrSilverG, the ReST is similarly priced to the high-end model of the SleepNumber mattress, and a little more expensive than the Saatva Solaire. It's also more expensive than the Eight Sleep Pod (be sure to check out our review!)
Okay what the heck... I had no idea there's was any think like this!!!! Idk if I want to know the price lol. But I definitely want one 🤣 Ps.i had to share this video with my friends!!!
Very cool mattress but there is room for improvement. I don't think I would pic this mattress due to price. And I kinda like to sleep on my stomach some times.
I like the idea of being able to adjust! Having actual users test out mattress really helps show how I might like it
Thanks for watching, Brad!

How has the bed been working out so far?
That's cool that this provides such nice support for side sleepers. As a side sleeper that is crucial.
🙌

Glad to have you with us, Colleen!
it is spendy so I like how you mention all the tweaks you would like to see in their app

Beds are getting high tech! I like how the bed can adjust based on pressure mapping.
The future is bright, l pittmon!🖖

When you win the lottery would you mind buying us a ReST bed, too?! 😁
@@TuckSleep YELP ReST beds for EVERYONE..lol
Woohoo!!!
I was comparing this and the I8 from Sleep Number. After watching your review I believe I found the rest bed to be my go to. Thank you!

It has a lot of great qualities, but definitely a hefty inve$tment!
Very cool tech used with this mattress, but the price is out of my range for sure. This would be great to check out. Thank you for sharing :)
Always cool to get a glimpse into the future of sleep! Thanks for watching, Sean!
Very impressed with the rest bed. Not comfortable with the tech through. Great review!

How loud is the pump if on Automatic

for your surprise i got it yesterday on clearance for $1400 without a tablet which i can buy for $150 lol...I'll post the update after a few weeks. :)
Very expensive and complicated but the adjustability might make it worth it, especially might be good for back pain
Quite the investment, but the customization cannot be beat!
Holy cow, this looks cool. An auto position sensor?! Mind blown.
The future of sleep!
Expensive for sure. Would love to try it, but out of my price range. What happens when my kids repeatedly jump up and down on it and treat it like a trampoline? Just curious.
Any brand of air channel bed should absolutely never be jumped on.
Never heard of this one but sounds interesting!
We're glad to introduce you, Bylthe!
It's way out of my budget, sounds like an awesome bed with the adjustibility.
Definitely a big chunk of change for a complex sleep setup!
@@TuckSleep yeah, and as a person on a fixed income, it really is out of reach at this point and time!

@@TuckSleep thank you for having this kind of information about all kinds of mattresses. Ps. Great giveaway every month!
Wow this mattress looks awesome. I was EXTREMELY interested. Until I saw the price, ouch!!
It's definitely a bit $pendy!
Does sound interesting,
So expensive but so cool.
I would love to have sleep without pain, but I don't think this would be the best fit for us, and the price is way out of our budget.

I like that it comes with white glove delivery but wow I just looked at the price. Yikes!
Definitely a luxury bed!
This sounds like a paid promotion/ advertisement.
