The comment about not wanting to hold your husby back from having a family is so real. It's the worst part of going through this journey.

This comment hits close to home because my hubby is my best friend. When I brought this concern up to him, he looked at me with the most comforting eyes and said “baby, I’d be happy if it was JUST you and me for the rest of our life together. I’m perfectly happy with just you.” And I bet your men would say the exact same!

My name is Macy (mine is spelled Macee), and my husband and I have been TTC for almost 3 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS this morning after finally accepting that I need to seek help, and I went straight to RUclips to get encouragement and find success stories, your video was the first I watched. I’m taking this as a sign, my miracle will happen❤️

Thanks for sharing. My husband and I have been together 9 years and married for 1.5yrs. we started trying on our wedding night, I should have ovulated on the honeymoon but hear we are heading to 18 cycles (one and a half years) no baby and only having done one round of Clomid. I just turned 26 and my husband is 28, I never thought I'd have PCOS or any of my other issues. Good to know there is hope. The ONLY thing in life I ever wanted was to be a mom, having that feel like it's slipping through your fingers is the most horrible feeling. It's nice to know pregnancy is possible.

I have a question. Why do women want to get pregnant? Pregnancy puts a lot of strain on a woman's body, and it has risks, and a pregnancy lasts 9 months. Also, childbirth is very painful. And also, raising children is very hard.
Personally, I think being childfree would be a lot better than having children, but that's just my opinion.

My husband and I have been TTC since 2017 (& still are). The beginning of your story is identical to ours! We are not telling anyone that we are TTC and it is so hard. His family makes so many insensitive comments about us not having kids yet. I actually broke down at a family dinner one night when everyone was bombarding us with the questions. I did three rounds of clomid (all failed, no ovulation even) and two rounds of letrozole (both failed, no ovulation). I just finished my third cycle of letrozole and went for an ultrasound and blood work yesterday. The ultrasound showed ovulation and I just got my blood work results today that my progesterone levels were high and I actually ovulated!! I'm thankful that this worked for you. It gives me hope.

Thank you so much for making this video and sharing it!! I’ve been trying for a year in August. I was diagnosed with PCOS in January of 2020. Literally every since I found out I can’t get my mind off of it, I feel the same way like I’m not worthy enough for my boyfriend I literally cry every time we talk about marriage because I’m just scared that I wouldn’t be able to give him a child. Anyway, I just did the HSG process last Friday and I didn’t have any blockage as well they did notice that my right side is a little bit more dominant than my left but they told me not to worry about that. We are too just referred to an fertility specialist and I hope it all works out. Thank you for your video to know I’m not alone, I think it’s so easy for me to get caught up in my thoughts and you video made me a little bit more hopeful

I wasn’t really trying. But, my boyfriend and I were like “if it happens, it happens” type of journey. After awhile of not getting pregnant, I started to get worried something was wrong. Until, one day, I had symptoms that made us SWORE we were pregnant. Took a test, negative still. So, I went to the doctors and they told me I appear to have symptoms of PCOS. I’ve never been so upset. Then it was confirmed I did have it. I’m taking metformin and birth control to restart my cycle. We are praying that we will get pregnant once I get off the pill. Your video gave me so much hope 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Thank you! And I really enjoyed the video. I came out of anesthesia crying hysterically thinking I couldn't have kids ( worst case scenario that I'd signed ok before hand was removing all my equipment). I'm sorry you had to go through this, but I also feel like you're a big sister giving me a heads up about what might happen

I also started trying with my husband early, not long after I turned 18. We already own our own house and we both make plenty of money for context.
I knew something was off or that I wouldn't be able to get pregnant immediately. I found out I had pcos 7 months ago and also have been attempting to track if I was ovulating. I recently went to my doctor to report to her that I've never gotten a positive ovulation test, in fact, the test lines have been stark white the vast majority of the time. I'm now on my first provera and letrozole cycle. Praying this works out.

My doctor recommended a strict keto diet and exercise to help with the PCOS symptoms I’m having and I’m on birth control. Did you alter your diet and fitness when you were trying to get pregnant, or take any vitamins/supplements? I would also love to hear about your birth story!

I also had that same feeling and I was right. We’re 16 months of TTC and I have only ovulated 3 times. My cycles have ranged anywhere from 105 days to 70 days. We have done 1 round of letrozole at 2.5mg….I didn’t ovulate and had to take 100mg of prometrium to force a period since I was CD60 with no bleed yet. Skip to this cycle, we have upped the letrozole to 5mg. I’m CD17 and have not gotten a positive LH yet. I’m hopeful we catch ovulation this cycle.

I know this is an old video, but thank you for making it. I am in the middle of this nightmare. Just found out I have PCOS like 2 hours ago. We’ve been trying for a year. My mom also has PCOS but the doctors said for 5 months that I didn’t because I have no other symptoms other than irregular cycles. We want to start a family so bad, please send your thoughts our way. I’m at a very low point right now with my emotions😣

Trust me, I’ve been there and I truly understand how emotional it can be. The hard part is there are no guarantees. I searched long and hard online to find stories of successfully getting pregnant after being diagnosed with PCOS. And I found a ton! But I also found plenty of people that fertility treatments didn’t work or it took a very long time. And for some reason those stories stood out the most to me and freaked me out! I thought for sure that would be the situation for me. And now I have two beautiful daughters! I guess what I’m trying to say is although getting the news is hard, try not to look into others stories too much! I found it was more hurtful than helpful! I’ll pray for you and your family!

Hey! So sorry you’re going through this! When I was going through fertility treatments I was employed with my previous company who had amazing benefits. Our medical insurance covered fertility treatments which meant I didn’t have to pay much out of pocket. For an entire year the max I would have to pay would be $1,000 or so. Without medical coverage, the IUI process would be around $1,000 each round. Hope that helps!
