New Wave trio from Minsk, Belarus
Molchat Doma (translated as “Houses Are Silent”), founded in 2017 in Minsk, Belarus, stands at the intersection of post-punk, new-wave and synth-pop. Dark yet danceable, and with a heavy dose of goth ethos, their music is reminiscent of the masters that predate them, but make no mistake: Molchat Doma creates a sound and meaning that is immediately recognizable as all their own.

They are even better live. They put on an incredible show in Phoenix. I was lucky to find out they were playing just hours before. I loved the interludes they had between songs too. If someone can post that show it would be awesome.

So i play quite a few games and one in particular that i‘ve come to enjoy is called ace combat 7, finding this music around the same time i had the craving for dogfighting (term for jets chasing each others tail) really couldn‘t have been better timing. There hasn‘t been a more satisfying and freeing feeling like being in the sky and listening to this music. Especially the cinematic feeling when shooting down a bandit or seeing an explosion happen because of you also the camera angles when you go for a replay. And don‘t even get me started playing it drunk 😚🤌.
