At 11:34 the little area with movable barrier is called a shifting lobby. Workers would change clothing and footwear for non-sparking versions, required for everyone working with powder; you already noted the shielded lamp fittings.
The black gun barrel was laying alongside a road down from where you were standing (in built up area) painted grey. It was there for years. Nice to see it has been moved to a place where it can be seen and associated with the guns it is a spare for.
My grandad was an electrical engineer for Lawrence and Scott based in Norwich, nice to see some of their gear as obviously you don’t see much of it about!
love your Gibraltar videos. I've been there many times and you have shown us so many places we haven't yet explored. Really eager to go back now. I once was in a half filled with water anti aircraft operations room that you have to scramble up to, on the south side. You need to be like Indiana Jones to explore it, not open to the public. Right above some small scrap yard place as I recall. I was told about it by somebody in Subterranea Britannica when I used to be a member. The 'stay behind' bunker is very cool and something I'm hoping to get a look at some day. Cheers for all the great video !😎
Fascinating look around a complete battery. The barrier at 11.50 is part of the magazine 'shifting lobby' you leave your uniform on the pegs and hobnail boots under the bench then change into special magazine clothing and rope soled shoes which have no metal parts once past the barrier anything which could cause a spark would ruin your and everyone else's day.
Nearby to Ohara's is a tunnel that remained secret until the1990's . Operationally called Operation Tracer . A good video can be found on RUclips Named . The Secret ww2 Bunker by You Tuber by the name Calum . A good watch
Amazing footage, really interesting stuff, thanks for sharing 😊
Glad you enjoyed it

The drop down barrier was in the shifting room where staff had to change into safe clothing.
