Has anyone noticed how each of the antagonists represent a different subgenre of horror?
Jack is slasher movies, Marguerite is bodily horror I guess, Lucas is psychological horror, and Eveline is paranormal/supernatural horror.
Yeah, bodily horror would be my best guess for Marguerite too.

Jack also seems to be a bit of body horror as well?
Jack is more like evil version of ash from evil dead, lucas is likened jigsaw, marg umm more like jorogumo but she has long emeciated figure, and eveline is obviously like carrie

I love that you included the Bakers' backstory (Daughters DLC) in the beginning of the video. Really helps to flesh out the rest of the story when you play them in this order, I think. Thanks for that, it was a nice touch. :)

This doesn't look like a game at all, it's almost like a first person horror movie.
At least it’s not a found footage film. Though, those actually could be found all throughout the game.

@mimostoykov2690 when Jack stomped on Ethan's head, it killed him instantly. But since he was affected by the mold beforehand, it brought him back to life. He was living his life as a mold monster for 3 years, which is why his body was literally deteriorating at the end of RE Village
@@jenn5628 I see. Did not see that one yet lol. I always assumed he was some sort of a mold enhanced man though because of the hand re-attachment

Great gameplay, thanks for the movie! Only thing is, I think it'd be cool if you turned on the in-game subtitles. Or at least the youtube ones. Those hard of hearing might appreciate that :) keep it up!
Incredible camera work and gameplay. Only one scene could have added more to the overall story into Village and that is the leg chopping scene/reattachment.
Now it's time to take it back 3 years before Village. Love this channel

re8 could have been made a lot scarier but I don't think that's what they wanted tbh
A lot of people said this game felt too scary and not like resident evil. Re8 is right in the middle of this game and the Re:makes

I'm too scare to play RE7 and too stressful to play alone because it didn't provide many bullet like RE5 & RE6. But I enjoy watching you play RE7. Y'know. Lucas is just one of those so loud and hateable RE villains out there that I almost wish Chris hadn't killed him just so that we could've seen him in a future game and let Ethan do it instead. Like y'know, how Wesker was to Chris... or something like that. Evil prodigy with virus/parasite/mold enhanced powers who seriously got on the bad side of the MC and made it their life's mission to bring them nothing but utter misery? Plus, unlike Wesker and his eomania... Lucas is just a psychotic sadist with brains and a loud personality.... I think he would've made for a great recurring villain had he lived. But sadly, Capcom has a bad habit of writing too many one off characters outside of the core cast of re 1 and 2... and Wesker's dead now... We need a new recurring bad guy...

Ah, the Ethan Winters Saga... the RE arc that takes a perfectly good, kind and normal guy turned father... and proceeds to mercilessly treat him like a karmic punching bag. I mean, my God does this man not catch a break. And then the (kinda really obvious) reveals in Village didn't help. I mean, Ethan's also a first in the series for killing off a main protagonist! And he was such a good dood who did 'not' deserve the lot in life he got, to say nothing of Rose and how her own life turned out in spite of all the sacrifices Ethan made for her...
Oh, and there's how Chris just looks tired... tired and done. I mean, damn near twenty years of fighting bioweapons and the douchebags who make/use them all while seeing the victim list pile up.
I wouldn't be surprised if Chris ended up the slightly less evil version of Big Boss from MGS, especially considering how corrupt the BSAA became and him having gone rogue once already... I mean, Rose's DLC kinda puts that on the backburner but still...
