The sitting guy doesn't necessarily have to be a character, Black Ops has always just had random dudes sitting for the cover art, 4 and CW took a break from that trend, they might be going back to it

Exactly what I was thinking. When things come out people just get too excited and tend to overthink things.
Yeah he could be just a random covert operative he’s just used as concept art for the game art but he not necessarily a character in game o don’t know why people are wondering who he is.
I don’t think Mason and Woods will be playable. If BOII is still considered canon at this point, then Woods is crippled and Mason depending on the canonical outcome, is either dead or hiding for 30 years.
And its also rare for a cod game to feature the cover art guy as a playable character so he's out of the question

I’m pretty sure BO2 is retconned. There is nothing to profit of BO2’s fan service on it’s current state. They gotta reboot and retell it some other way that it fits the new Warzone timeline

Mason can't be watching over David as David was left with Woods in the vault. My theory is that Alaska is referencing the return of David, if it is true we play in events of 2001 as well, we could be seeing a young David as a soldier
If what I’m thinking is true (because it’s weird to have a COD for a war that the ground war was 4 days) you could start out with Panama and Adler and Sims pulling up to the ship that Woods, Mason (preferably alive, but in a coma state) Hudson (obviously dead) and David were being held by Menendez and rescues them, then you could do the Gulf, the Yugoslav wars (would be cool hunting war criminals) Somalia because I want to see Gothic Serpent and the Battle of Mogadishu in a call of duty, and then if 9/11 is truly in the game you could play fresh out of BUD/S and SQT David Mason invading Afghanistan and then Iraq as a Navy SEAL, just really be almost a connection story between the Black Ops games and Modern Warfare
@@CRob172 I agree with you, Mogadishu is something they are supposedly covering as well, so my theory is that the open world aspect is the Gulf War, however you play the main missions in other places, Somalia, the Balkan Wars, the Drug Wars in Colombia, Desert Storm, etc.... And then you jump to the future in 2001, around 4 to 5 five missions with William Bowman, David, and Graves

Since they connected Black Ops and Modern Warfare, I wonder if we'll see younger Shepard in Black Ops 6. Back in MW2 a theme was history is written by the victors which both Shepard and Price mention, obviously hinting at history not always being the truth. Black Ops 6 theme so far is The Truth Lies.

Price and Macmillan in Pripyat probably where the year set in 1996 and ties the Black Ops and Modern Warfare into one
@@mavijaredvalera4194 Macmillan is an iconic character despite his short appearance in campaign, so it would be cool to see him again and fleshed out.
I think another character that can be in Black Ops 6 is Bell. Yes I'm aware of the canon ending of Black Ops Cold War but here's the thing. We never saw a body, we didn't get a conformation by any of the characters (specifically, Adler) that Bell is confirmed dead or alive, and we never got a conclusion or aftermath of the scene since it immediately cuts to Black before we can hear the gunshots.
So for that it can be 3 different possibilities.
A. Bell gets shot but ended up surviving without Adler knowing and decides to go under the radar.
B. Adler does shoot Bell but misses on purpose all because he didn't want to kill them and lies to fake their death until the right timing to come back.
or
C. Bell is actually dead and through out the years, Adler starts to feel guilty for the decision he made.
why exactly would Adler feel guilty…? and what would that add to the story

I already said this on another video but in black ops 4 there is a multiplayer map set in Alaska called “militia” also the description of the map is
“Anti-government extremists backed covertly by a Russian cell are stockpiling weaponry in a remote region of Alaskan wilderness near the Bearing Strait.”
Also one of the factions in the map are the “patriots of the north” and their description says “The righteous will be reborn” which can either mean they are what is left of Cerberus or just talking about Soviet Russia.

Mason canonically survives the events of BO2, Karma survives, Woods survives and Menendez smashes his face into a reinforced TV in his cell
All we know is Menendez is dead. The rest isn't confirmed

It would be great if we can play as Lawrence Sims since we barely got any background on him from cold war and since Jason Hudson was killed by Raul Menendez maybe Sims will be the new CIA handler to the team.

Black Ops Cold war takes place between BO1 and BO2, right? And Mason was obviously in Cold war, so he had to survive. Please let me know if I have a stroke now, but I think we can conclude that Mason survived.
Cold war ends two years before the 80s section of BO2. Mason either dies or go into hiding in 1989

It's unlikely we'll see Woods, Alex Mason, and David Mason because Alex Mason got shot and we don't know what happened to him, Woods just got shot in the knees by Menendez, causing him to get discharged and being on a wheelchair for the rest of life. Yeah, David isn't old enough to join the army but still he's being taken care of by Woods and I think evn though David isn't old enough to join the army, I think Woods is teaching David on how to use a gun and also teaching him importance of the military and advising him that he should follow in his father's steps, which I think led to David joining US NAVY in 1996 to end Menendez's reign.
The fact that Alex Mason probably will be in this game, along side Frank Woods and others is insane. Literally one of my favorite Bo characters. But i was right about Bowman's son. I knew that the cover had something to do with this. Probably never been this hyped up for a new COD since MW 19. Thank you Inkslasher for breaking this down for us!🙏

I REALLY WANT to see Alex Mason and William Bowman in this game. They will be my fav characters (well Alex Mason is already my fav). I think Alex Mason could survive because he is a SURVIVOR :)

It should be noted David Mason, Alex Masons son became a Navy seal at 17 and he was born in 1979 , so that would result in 1996. Since Mason, Woods, and Adler will be quite old in the 90s, David Mason could be a playable character especially since 9/11 might be a playable mission, he might be the protagonist in subsequent military operations after years after 🧐
Apparently, David Mason joined the seals at 16-17 so 1995 and after so either he'll appear later in the game or in Black Ops 7 I guess
I hope a Young General Shepard is in it so there could be a Mw and Bops Crossover( Even Cod4 modders has Crossover ideas).

Same thing I thought. It's definitely an AC-1. It kinda makes sense, since Lucas himself was called on by the devs of MW19 (or MWII, I can't remember) to do some mo-cap for tactical training/maneuvers like firing from cover, tac reloads, reloading on the move, etc. I remember seeing that on his IG story and on Twitter, lol.

5:11 As much as everybody is saying the first lines of the profile spell out Russell Adler, and it probably is alluding to him, I'm pretty sure it doesn't spell out Russell Adler's name specifically. The first two words likely say, "Ruthless. Relentless."
The paragraph literally says the name "Adler" in it, lol. You could be right, it could just be alluding to him and not directly referencing him, but it sounds like it is to me, lol. We shall see, I guess.

I'm almost certain this game will explain where Mason was for 30 years after the flashback missions of BO2.
I'm still speculating that this might me a young Briggs, if the navy seals team are involved in this, it might be him, but I could be wrong.
Also it could be Bowman's son too, that's another good theory too.

Well one thing i do know is.......that hudson cant be in it
I really hope they look at BO2’s timeline and try to have things in black ops 6, so when woods is crippled & mason and his son David are kidnapped/caught by menendez. I doubt they’ll bring the character back but hopefully show him or reference him plenty since the game takes place in the early 90s.
Maybe in the near future we’ll get a black ops 2 remaster if activision actually wants money lol.
The soldiers’ kit on this cover art appears to be mid 90s to early 2000s.
The knife thing is a stretch because issued gear (standard or not) looks the same 97% of the time.
By the way the cover guy having that knife doesn’t mean it belongs to sims only, in Cold Wars 2nd mission you, woods and Adler carry that exact same knife. It could be sims but it doesn’t have to be

In BO2, before his unfortunate demise, Hudson said to Woods that he has 2 kids. I hope we see one, or both of of them in the game. As well as William Bowman, and possibly a young “Sandman”. That would be insanely awesome. There could be a Black Hawk Down type mission where you play as Sandman!!
This means the events of BO6 will take place after the events of Panama where Mason was either shot dead or just injured in the leg , i would go with the second option because i don't think they can make a black ops game without such an iconic character , Woods is certainly injured and crippled (cannon) and i assume he won't be playable in the game , we might see scenes of him and young david

In Firebase Z COD BO Cold War zombies, it says in a paper that it says that Weaver's designation as an enemy of the CIA thanks to Operation Charybdis is noted to be rescinded, implying Operation Charybdis was dissolved.

If they have to go back to world war II do the Alaska campaign and just for crafts and giggles it's Alex Mason and his father being a sniper Duo because he was like a teenager when world war II was happening. So I could see him and his father traveling from Fairbanks down to adak Alaska without anybody knowing and going and sniping the Japanese and trying to get them off the island. Do you know how cool that would be we get a teenage Alex Mason basically killing Japanese personnel way before he's becoming a badass in Black ops. I also hope we get one game dedicated to a son David.

If they are still connecting timelines I really hope they do better than what they did in CW. Simply sharing verdansk and Imran making a cameo isn’t enough. I hated how much they ruined the potential to merge 2 great timelines together something most of us as kids at the time of the og games only dreamed of. I remember them adding price as a op to CW and was like WTF that don’t add up to anything price at the time wasn’t old enough to fight and how it was just a marketing stunt. They could’ve added a younger MacMillan fighting aside Mason and Woods, maybe they (Woods or Adler) taught Mac a few things that later on bring down to Price. That would’ve been badass plus it wouldn’t sabotage the plot of the merging games. But at the end we got a cameo and a map that was shared. So much wasted potential.
