- Wanted to make another what-if, and the air island season is coming up soon, so I thought it would be cool to make an animated what-if of Epic Wubbox on air island! This is the first time I have tried to draw in the MSM style! I went for a mechanical steampunk style to fit the aesthetic of air island.

I love the theme of air pressure in this one. I think this is the best fanmade Epic Wubbox I have ever seen, period. Nice on ya!

Seeing wubbox with a new idle animation is always very interesting, and the sound is spectacular
The whistles and gear-cranking add so much to the song!
EDIT: And I just noticed the pressure on the feet go up when it steps!!! The attention to detail is amazing!
when it pushes out it's hand a couple times his arm moves up like the pressure from shooting out his hand is moving his arm up is so cool! Heres a time stamp and look at his left arm being pushed up: 2:20

There’s just so much to love about this fan-made Air Epic Wubbox but I don’t have the words to describe it properly, other than *Wubtastic*
I really love the posh fanciness of its design with the unique addition of a monocle and golden materials.
Plus I personally am expecting/hoping for Air Epic Wubbox to produce steam engine noises and a more pitch altering version of the other Epic Wubboxes roar to better fit in with the upbeat party theme of the song, and for its inactive form to resemble one of the Hot Air Balloons from the background but more modernised and with parts taken from the Skyship seen in DoF & Mirror Air Island, since that would be a golden opportunity worth taking.

Design-wise, I think I like the official one more, but song-wise, yours is way better. This fits with the song really well, and plays a lot more. Also a lot more noticeable, and fits with the trend of base track with another track with a growling synth. Great job!

I think it could do fine singing in early-song, because that’s a great place to hype up.
(It’s part is honestly amazing so far in air, just missing extra participation that yours helps with)

The pressure gauges are really cool, and the horns sound like something out of a construction site. xD The animation is wonderful. ^-^

See it’s the fact that he was built to fit the song that makes this so good.
Other people make something they think sounds cool and then once combined with the song it sounds really discordant and painful to hear, whereas this one flows quite well.

personally i think the air island epic wubbox is going to follow the riff's melody in the wub part instead of the one @JakeTheDrake chose which is like the castle bass line, not sure which would actually sound better though

You know, i kinda feel like his left and right howl horn holes look like worried eybrows, which makes Epic Wubbox look worried for some reason

Might be an unpopular opinion but I still think this idea for the air island wubbox is superior (although when it comes to animation and looks the official wubbox is a bit better) I prefer this one to the official wubbox because this one adds a bit more to the song
I really enjoy the floaty felling the animation gives. That and the rework of the idol animation , keeping the soul of the original while also creating a new feel. Amazing work!
So cool! But there are two problems:
He lacks a bit of shading
The animation is too energetic rather than having a robot like movement
I think it’s fine personally, when you mix steampunk with robot that is pretty much the result
I think it's supposed to represent the fact that he technically runs on air pressure/cylinders, which if you have ever seen old animatronics that run on actuators, represents that pretty well
It should have the the eye flash thing like epic plant wub and snow epic wub

Very nicely done, I'd love to see you do water, earth, ethereal, and gold island, I'd be very curious to see how that works out.
One minor nitpick, the eyes doesn't glow and certain points. Like on Plant Island it's eyes glow every time it roars, and on Cold Island it's eyes glow when it makes that car engine noise. I only saw it's eyes glow on the last whistle, it's eyes should glow more often. Still overall, very cool.

This really puts the emphisis (if thats what you call it) on the right part of the song. It really amplifies one of the parts that is supposed to be the carrier. Without it the song isnt good.

This Epic Wubbox ended up being better than the one in game right now. Design isn't super cool, but Every thing else is really good
They should hire you, you managed to make something way better than the original, the only thing the official is better at is the design.

Doesn’t really fit the air island theme THAT much, but the animation, design in general, and sounds are all 11/10, good job!
Edit: I just realized a tiny detail that makes these even better, if you look closely at the pressure gauges, you’ll see they go up when he stomps which is creative and awesome!
