Nice comparison, yes, I remember your last pack comparison video. I'm all about this. I can see your performance with the SMC pack overall yes, but isn't the consistency of the HRB pack worth something. I'm impressed that all three passes were nearly identical. Great stuff thanks.
Cool 😎. Thanks for being informative but it was above my realm of my telemetry thinking. Anything has to be better than the so called Smart packs. Catch ya next time. Hope to make it to Jet Jam with the PJ-50. Coast Guard livery.
I had purchased several HRB's. The ones I purchase 3ish years ago still good. The ones I purchased in the last few years ago are already going bad. Just purchased my first SMC to check them out.
I buy 10mm silicon caps off of Amazon or eBay. Red for discharged. Green for charged. Then I always know the state. Great question. Make sure to use the silicon and not plastic
I could hear the difference at take off, the HRB packs did not have the grunt like the SMC's. Danny has done a really good job on these 40C packs he created. From what I understand these 40C packs are the best performing per weight of any battery we can get at the moment.
IF you add even more weight to the hrb it still wouldn’t be in the same realm. It would be over weight and lose even worse in that comparison. So IR to weight becomes a bigger issue. It’s a fair comparison. Again not putting down hrb but I don’t see 300 making up several thousand rpm. I didn’t run number on amps or rpm per mah but I bet if I did the comparative scale it would still show an advantage.
I've had my share of SMC LiHV go bad on me after 100 cycles. Should get 300-500 cycles with responsible throttle control. Always a cell that shoots up to >15Ohm and spoils the whole party... IMHO, HRB are as generically manufactured, and reliable as most others, for the most part.

Yes. I fully agree. It held its own well. I did note that. So it depends on what people want to spend.
Love my SMC packs! Worth every penny!
I have done several reviews now and agree completely

Sweet. Time will tell
Why hating on a brand? Just buy what u like.
Great comparison, I do like the F4 👍🏻
It’s a neat plane. Wish it cornered a bit better but it’s fast

You will love them. Still love mine.
Love my SMC's!

Great info as always, question where do you get the caps for the as 150 battery plugs? You may have said before and I missed it

Fully agree. It’s noticeable as u stated. Thanks for watching
Sorry, but the 300mah is your difference in performance. not apple to apples.

Thank you. Thanks for stopping in as always.

Shame SMC isn't sold in UK. Isn't even a consideration when u look at lipos for myself
Just wish I could get SMC packs down under...
Yea sorry. Not sure where u can or can’t get them. They are great.
Good hard Data
Thanks for checking it out
Come on. You left out the most important statistic, the HRB’s landed better.
Omg lol. U are correct
