They talk so slow, you could've left the video so easy
The fact that they didn’t re-release Mad Max Fury Road in IMAX before this movie is insane!When the movie came out, I was too young to watch it. When I watched it for the first time at home, I couldn’t imagine how much better it would’ve been in IMAX.
They will after this! Furiosa is an awesome prequel. Fury Road is so cool to watch again after knowing the story leading up to it!

She uses her new arm, her lost arm being her last connection to who she was, to remove the bear, his last connection. Or at least that’s what I thought.

I agree, i wish they had someone with more of a screen presence for that character.
The reason for not doing this is to not take the focus away from Furiosa as the main protagonist, and they already had a REALLY present male antagonist.

Only Joseph can take the utterance "I found her hair very distracting" and make it cut to the quick.
Funniest moment for me was when Dementus’ nipple rings get ripped out and it pans over to Joe’s crew and his guy (the People Eater, I believe) has his hands over his nipple rings, making a very pained face. 😂

Dude! I watched three movies last week that had the skarsgards in it. I didn’t realize it until the end every time. I was just like “holy s* how many skarsgards are there???!” 😂😂😂

The fake nose was terrible. Hot people can be evil we don’t need to try and make him “ugly” for him to be a villain. It was also just a very obvious prosthetic in certain lighting.
The actor of Immortan Joe from the 2015 Fury Road was the original actor of Toecutter in the original Mad Max.

Thing is. Nobody can really believe Chris Hemsworth as a real villain. Too Thorish. Miller should have offered an island to Daniel-day Lewis to get him out of retirement. Then it would have been a 1 billions box office movie.
I feel the pacing of this movie was bad. The more info you cram into this ,the slower it becomes.
Fury road was a much simpler movie in comparison. It was conceived as one big chase scene. That's why it worked.

Fury road was my fave of 2015 too. I was really dissapointed by this one, I love Mad Max films but this one felt like it overexplained Furiosa's character to her detriment.

I liked Fury Road so much that I just know I’ll be disappointed and I get the feeling this movie is being hyped. Plus it’s 2 hrs 20 min…that’s too damn long.
Understandable, just don't go into it expecting FURY ROAD ACTION. You'll probably better enjoy it for the world building and character development/story that leads into Fury Road

Found this quite tedious! Needless origins, no Junkie XL score, no propulsive feeling, prologue way too long, and surprisingly tons of green screen and CGI!
And I liked 3,000 years of longing so was surprised this felt so flat and slack in pacing
Maybe I'm reading to much into it but I thought this movie had an anti-death penalty message. Furiosa's mom sparing that women shows that she still had her humanity despite the harsh realities of the wasteland but at the same time it led to her downfall. So it kinda shows that Dementus worldview might be right and you have to be a monster to survive. But then Furiosa finds a bit of a compromise in the end. She doesn't kill him but she puts him in a position where he can no longer hurt anyone.
Decent movie. It made me really want to watch Fury Road again

The purpose of the movie is to paywall 100 close up shots of a wide-eyed Anya Taylor Joys face. A $15 ticket buys you 100 close ups at about $0.15 per shot. Pretty good deal.
Mel Gibson was on the poster cover of Mad Max, looking "normal" - it was thrilling enough. Joseph is distracted by the hair, or lack of it, but seems like the villain has both the long hair and the beard!

Furiosa's metal arm wasn't bionic it was prosthetic. Even having something functional to the point of being useful at all would be quite an accomplishment in this setting, realistically. Having it be BETTER than a regular arm would be distractingly unrealistic even in something as over-the-top as this.
Furiosa's romance with Jack was understated for a reason. They didn't show chemistry or act all lovey dovey because that would be showing WEAKNESS in the wasteland.
I went to see this film in IMAX and it deserves a rewatch. I was vibrating with excitement the entire time. Loved it.
Dementus is not a doctor but Demento is.

This movie was absolutely amazing, just as fantastic as fury Road. I definitely have to see this several more times on the big screen.

You will get more out of this film if you have seen and cared for Fury Road. I was absolutely immersed in the world. I highly regarded the acting and beats in the story. I was on the edge of my seat, or at least riding this wave of excellence for the full duration of the films runtime. Into the credits. Everyone involved in this movie should be so proud. 10/10 Movie, an absolutely goosebump inducing ride that rolls into Fury Road with perfection.
Go See this movie, I can't recommend a movie any higher. This was Epic.

All this shit reminds me of the Phantom Menace when everyone was scared to say it sucked.. First half was boring...There..I said it.
Yea. There was some instinctual reason it took me two weeks to see this and it's not sexism, like some people are blaming the low box office on. (Aftet all Fury Road is one of the best action films of all time.) Furiosa was ok, but unnecessary. Unlike all the other installments, this one cannot stand alone. Slow and stylistically unsure of itself, it's a popularity vehicle and simp magnet for ATJ, and lacking in story, action, and real imminent danger. Directed like the origin story for an omnipotent, unkillable superhero rather than a dystopian tale with actual high stakes. Please, no more of these so-called prequels.
This sounds like too much is going on in this movie to the point it feels predicable and forced..
