Great, informative video Rob, great to see all the steps involved. Now ; indulge me . . . " Kirsty MacColl just told me, 'there's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis' ". . . . Sorry, couldn't resist that one.
You just know that "As dead as Elvis", is going to be heard a lot more in the wood now...... A good way to carry the saw blade is taped to the inside of you belt (36 inch is not a problem for me.....). Good stealth tip. 👍👍
No bloopers, Rob? Missed your cursing 🙂At bushcraftgatherings I usually give bucksaw making workshops. Made a few models, but maybe I'll pay tribute to this one with my tribute knife at the end of april ;-) Cheers.
@@thewoodlandschoolltd3999 one cross brace is fine on a short blade 21" but 30-36" really need two , especially if you make the saw tall to cut larger diameter timber.
ELVIS is not DEAD, he only left the building. Nice job, but have cut myself on a few various SILKY blades, those vertical cuts with a long blade looked decidedly dangerous to me. Safer with the Swiss Army Knife perhaps. Still, you got a result.
As dead as Elvis is one of the most memorable quotes ever!
I love the king!
Three of the best songs ever came from Elvis.
@@RobEvansWoodsman hard to disagree. Suspicious Minds is my favourite
In the ghetto and American Trilogy finish my three off.
Amazing saw. Great video as always. I look forward to the new video every week.

Great work. Very informative.
Lovely Bucksaw, isn’t it. A joy to watch, ta.
I love making those saws, alway a fantastic bushcraft project
Hi Bruce!
Thankx Rob
Very good design, not seen that one before.
Great video. As expected no BS in Mors bushcraft tool
Nice one Rob 👍🍻
Good project, I've made quite a few over the years, I used to make them to sell, obviously not the tree branch method.🤣👍🏻
Super saw,,,super videó,,,👍✌️🤝
Top job Rob!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
Elvis is not dead. Saw him carving a Kuksa while humming a catchy tune. Another great video, Rob.

Your knife is almost ready.
Awesome video Rob!
Thanks mate, it's an oldie that i re-edited.
You made that very easy. I’m going to give it try but no telling what I’ll end up with :)
There are so many bucksaw variants but I like this one.
Silky doesn't like long grain sawing I've found too.
Wonder why Mors prefered a V centre over a single stick.
It's far more ridged.
@@RobEvansWoodsman makes sense in that case

👍👌
Elvis dead? I just saw him in Walmart.
Hi, what knive do you use?
My own knives that I make

Silkys are terrible for going down grain.
