It's also a layout which seems to travel around the country as it features in at least 3 videos now. Always something new to see in it. I'm currently editing the St. Andrews show, and for this one it has new park style mini-railway and bouncy castle!
Lovely to see a Hunslett Austerity tank locomotive in charge of a carriage!! It’s typical northern thing because the Hunslett Austerity was mostly an LNER machine.
You are right! Scotland is the ideal place for many of these layouts. However some shows cover scenes all over the UK and around the world. Check out the Glasgow show from February for varied selections!
Hi there, i own Lewis Lake, you have done the layout justice with your video, thank you
Thanks so much. I always feel I've missed things when I edit the video so good to get positive feedback!
Calder Rigg is just like a tiny village where my other first cousin lived until he came south to Banbury!! It’s Largo Ward with a railway!!

Always fun to mix things up a bit!
The locations in these layouts could only be in ONE part of the United Kingdom, and that’s dear old Scotland!! Absolutely gorgeous!!

Wood in the American locomotive’s tender? Should it not be coal?
Afraid I'm not an expert in that area. Maybe depended on the part of the country or what fuel sources were available.
American steam locos in logging areas predominantly used wood in the firebox.
