Very cool. I was searching for any information on if these were constructed with the door facing in a particular direction, but can't find anything.

The longhouses were often built so they stood from east to west. People lived in the western end of the house, and the animals were stored in the eastern end of the house. Since the entrance to this hall was facing towards the Royal longhouse at lake Tissø, it would have been facing north.
