Suggestion Tom: It would be helpful to have real rf signals present when describing these sort of features. After watching your video, I still don't know what to do with this knob. I see it changes the noise floor somehow, but in REAL USE I don't know what to do with it. What you did that is explain what's in the manual, not how a real operator might use the feature. Thanks for the effort, your presentation voice is great.
Hi, great video. I also perfer to set RF+SQL to the knob. Sometimes, I also use SQL when operating in SSB or AM mode, if I got strong signal. It also useful when in SCAN function. Thank you..
Yes. That’s been my experience. In many cases, I’m happy with the out-of-the-box settings. I did tweak the spectrum scope color settings for my taste, but not too many others.

That’s a good suggestion. I have thought about redoing some of the older 7300 videos. I’ll put that on the list for that one.

Seems this radio ships with a pretty decent "default" configuration. Lots of stuff can be left "as is" without too much tweaking. I like that.
