- Euroleague Mike James ( CSKA Moscow ) works out with trainer Mike and plays an extremely competitive game of 1vs 1 against Darius Johnson Odom ( Italy ) and Guard Andrew Andrews ( Turkey ) . Mike James started for the Phoenix Suns and should still be in the NBA but is currently one of the best players in Europe.

I think people who talk poorly about guys who end up out of the NBA forget how good professional athletes are!
exactly, theres alot guys out there same and as these guys and better that cant get a spot of nba team
Many of these people have the potential to be NBA players. Boston's Brad Wanamaker has been in Europe for many years before he returns to USA and prove he belongs...
@@Edgaros patrick beverley
Man Euroleague is literally the 2nd best basketball league in the world, 10 times better than college , 5 times better than the D league. Literally multiple NBA level hoopers in Euroleague, Mike James is one of them, dude was averaging over 20 a game for the suns for half a season till he went back to Euroleague.
David Chandler it’s not that they can’t get a spot. It’s that they don’t want to sit on an nba bench in the prime of their career.
Mike James is inspirational. He went from Juco to D1, gets in the NBA, leaves the NBA, kills in the Euro league for a few years, then gets back in the NBA with a couple of 10-day contracts to a long-term contract for a championship contender. The grind and drive he has is amazing. I hope the Nets get the chip
Funny cuz he was speaking on KD and Harden and now he plays with both of them
He knows what it takes to have chips.. He’s gonna be a Playoffs’ Rondo typa player for the Nets in playoff runs !!
just signed for the rest of the season, he has to go back to the Euroleague after this season
@@trinoejindu1790 he doesn’t have to go back now since Cska basically doesn’t want him anymore, so he’s going to stay in the nba now
Kills what ?the euroleague ?never won a title ,never played in final four ,every team he played not even 1 coach wanted him on board.long term contract ?his contract is until the end of the season .and he only plays only when Kyrie or James are missing .
Who’s here after mike James is playing well for the championship favorites
Me ✌🏻

This has to be the cleanest court I've ever seen/heard.
Sports Academy used to be Mamba Academy, it's where Kobe was going the day he passed unfortunately. That whole court is specifically for high profile stuff, hence all the black barriers
If anyone has ever wondered how crazy difficult it is to make it onto an NBA roster consider this: Mike James had to claw and fight his way just to be on the bench of the Brooklyn Nets. Unbelievably skilled player, but at his height it's very difficult to get your shot off on NBA defenders. Unbelievable player. Wish him the best.
He has decent size/athleticism for his position but him scoring on an nba level was never a question. Don’t forget there are politics to the NBA guys that are considered “instant offense” “microwave scorers “ gets bad rep teams rather go for low risk-low reward players but I still agree with most of your points
@@stevenwhiters8928 that's why he basically scores with ease now in the nba and takes on players no problem .
There are many factors for not making the nba even if the skill is there
Why you actin like he wasn't a starter lol he didn't claw lol you dragging it
He was a starter bro for the suns wtf is u talking bout lol
See thats where the issue is, the scouts in the USA are dimensions focused and stat focused, mainly looking into athleticism as the criteria on whether or not someone will be great. Look at Jokic for instance. If he was recruited by standard american scouts he would have never been able to show the world what he is capable of. He was picked up by a Serbian scout who saw potential in him through a newspaper article. Most NBA teams passed on him thinking he would be nothing, but look at him now. Basketball is more than wingspan, height and speed. Humans are inteligent beings, capable of adapting and utlizing their own advantages and skills that others dont have. Its insane thinking that Mike James with such skill sets has to ride the bench or have to fight to get to the league.
They all look UNGUARDABLE to me
bcause they cut out missed shots
yes hardly guardable
bro they are all pros overseas
What do you except? If you have that good jumper shot you're practically ungurdable to normal professional players. Only NBA players can stop them.
@@andrrrrrray nah I've watched uncut videos of some of these dudes that are pros and they're fucking insanely good. no one realizes just how good pros are. those videos where LeBron goes against other good players in open runs and shit he looks superhuman
He’s always been underrated!
Hell nah he ain't underrated... the man is consider a top 3 player in Europe...he ain't underrated yall just clueless
@Smith Will yeah u right , just a guy with a scoring tittle in Europe and multiple times champion in the leagues he has played in
U say 'always' like you've known him for 10 years💀
@@g.s.petropoulos6101 With due respect to European basketball, it's a completely different class of athleticism you're up against in the NBA. Very hard to make the transition. Certain shots and moves that work in Eruoleague straight up get shut down in the NBA. Look at his shooting % on the Nets vs Europe. Don't get me wrong, love that he's on the Nets, and hope he has a lot of success. He's a fun player to watch.

Unless they are over 6 9 then it's advantage they in there cause they big . They don't got skills like this dude
He was a starter for the suns lol

The 12th man on an NBA roster could come to any open gym in America and destroy. This dude should definitely be in the league. Glad to see he’s still getting to it overseas.
He is in the League now
of course, clowns speaking like they could get D1 scholarships.

this man a whole 2k build
To have friends like this making eachother better is what its about
Dude has the legs of a middle linebacker! Strong game, very very good player...SOLID!!
I had watch this a while ago and then seen him on the nets and had to come back. I’m happy for this guy.
I come back to this video every now and then and still amazed by the way the ball goes through the hoop. This was a Covid-19 classic during the shutdowns
Never make fun of the 15th man on the bench! These guys put in work!
He isn't a 15 man he was a starter
The rim has a mic
all right these guys would destroy the other youtube so called ballers, man these guys are big and can score. This was pretty impressive and hard to believe NBA guys are still even a lot better.
This is a great breath of fresh air to see material outside of the Professor. His nuthuggers have no idea how good other players are. Good job Mike James.
Mike James needs to be on a NBA roster, boy is cold blooded!
Nets
This vid shows the skill level of some of these players, James isn’t even on a roster and yet he’s still REALLY good. Crazy
The new sneakers being broken as well as the court floor noises are relaxing to hear. Like basketball ASMR
This guy proved how tough Euroleague is. Put some respect in Euroleague's name.

Every time he played great D they still made it😂
Guy in the black was getting fried
Yea he flat footed as hell
He didn't get not one stop 🤦🏾♂️
I think he is the trainers assist, he didn't even have ball kicks on
Joshua spence good. Would have been worst
bodegaboys you talkin like he can’t guard you
He's in a gray area for the NBA. Most teams are looking for a point guard that is a facilitator, so talented point guards that are pure scorers get pushed out (think Jimmer Fredette). His skillset is more like a shooting guard but he's 6'1".
That spin 3 pointer was sick
12:25 that must be a good way to blow off steam after someone makes you angry
He’s been a beast for a while🔥✊🏾
All good players have strong looking legs from quads to calf you have to focus on them leg muscles before your ready to put them moves together thats when your gunna be unguardable
Klarenxe Blood not all good players
Kevin Durant is disagree
@Daniel Mondesir he was pretty weak when he was a rookie, but still was a really good player.

yeah,i am from turkey and shane is ballin in here
Shane can't guard this man. He ain't that great player.
@@pixytorres7117 I would say Larkin is better in a basketaball game. On the other hand , Mike is better in 1 vs 1
It’s one thing to have that elite skill many professionals across the world have but they NBA provides elite athleticism+size that can’t be matched
6:10 That shit was dirty, man quick.
My man Mike is walking everywhere and throwing the ball out to the side and running to it. That’s a walk too.
he has 2 of the greatest to play's name in his name. ofc hes gonna be good

I remember years ago John Lucas who was a 3rd string pg for the bulls dropped 66 pts in Rucker Park, that's how u know the nba is no joke when it comes to talent
From the viewers perspective: The ball handlers joint maneuverability moves in a fluid reversed triangular motion during a time when metacarpal phalanges force ball movement from right to left to enable the explosive spin kinetics between both sets of the Teres major, Teres minor, infraspinatus. The humerus, the scapula, the serratus and external oblique lliac crest insertion cradles these weapons seamlessly allowing the transfer of all weight from vastus Lateralus through the left patella from the right without hesitation. Both the tibia and the fibula show no signs of weakness during their explosiveness resulting in what will be a spin and step back maneuver all of which would be impossible without a heighten sensitivity to equal weight distribution through the lumbar and thoracic sections of a healthy spine. 😁
