we as basketball fans need more of these breakdowns not hearing random youtubers talking basketball base of their emotion and bias
You know that this is a "random youtuber" right
@@lankyhanky9772I don’t think the official channel for the NBA would collaborate with “random RUclipsrs”. Thinking basketball is legit.
@@lankyhanky9772 this guy isn't "random", you have to be vetted before you can just appear on the official NBA channel.
Bro a lot of basketball RUclipsrs actually have great takes. It’s the media people who act all emotional and have wild things to say
Don’t want to hear Stephen A talk legacy all day either
Thinking basketball on the nba channel is amazing.
The thinking basketball fans been seen this and are so happy thinking basketball getting this recognition
The bad thing is that this level of recognition is always going to bring out haters. There are so many comments under his current videos talking about how he “must have never actually played basketball or that his stats are fake or he’s a hater nerd” despite the fact that he shows his film work to back up or explain the analytics. It honestly reeks of “anti-expert” dunning-Krueger syndrome: people who watch highlights think that their limited view of basketball is more valuable than an expert who puts as much of their biases away to study the game at its core.
Yep, Thinking Basketball put this video out around the time LeBron broke the record.
I'll go back even further.
Thinking Basketball has a website called Back Picks that's been out for a long time.
I checked out they're "Greatest NBA Careers" articles long before they had a RUclips channel.
This guy and the contributors to that channel and website have always been next level.

@@LastTrueElk take a look at this tough talking, pedophile talking bum lmfaoo..stay away from kindergartens bro..
@@dylanbach8578the more visibility that thoughtful, insightful analysis of sports gets, the better. That will result in less of the daily, banal “who’s the goat” conversations from people that have done no preparation. They just show up and ramble.
Also, props Thinking Basketball. You deserve it.
YES, please make thinking basketball the official analysis channel for NBA. Because all of the other channels are only gonna talk about trivial stuff and not actually break down the game.
smiling from ear to ear hearing thinking basketball on the main nba channel. he deserves this more than anything, been a fan for YEARS congrats Ben and amazing analysis as usual
Love this breakdown, but it seemed like it ignored lebron's second stint with the cavs completely. His post up fadeaway during those years was lethal
Right I was thinking the same thing. Most complete version of his game in my opinion.
Same Here Dawg
I didn't notice until you pointed that out, wow.
Its a product of Miami years.
Thinking Basketball has a longer version. NBA shortens it.
Thinking basketball has the best basketball analysis on the planet, bro knows his shit
Love these breakdowns….cant wait for the analysis of the upcoming season with all the new duos
ben taylor is a virgin.
NCAA Final Four can include Fabulous Las Vegas!🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Love the NBA for hiring Thinking for these
I love thinking basketball
Thinking basketball is not the hero we deserved but the hero needed. Nothing less than a GOAT......Shining.
With his play style it is just absolutely mental that he was never out for half a season or longer. All the penetrations and finishes against big men in his early career are the reason many of his peers had early career ends.
That"s because he use steroids and NBA is protecting him.
And you think that the other players aren't? Dream on. @@kikiritkov
you have to be naive to think player weren't using steroids for years before him@@kikiritkov

Thinking basketball on the nba channel?? Cant think of any creator more deserving, best basketball analysis on the platform
19 consecutive 25ppg seasons whilst averaging 8 assists is craaaaaazy
This video just shows me how much the nba has changed from how big man centric it was to the more pace and space it is now which allows for more scoring.
Really happy to see your videos on the official nba channel❤
Really pleased to see Thinking Basketball on NBA. Really smart move by them. Count me in!
Shout out to Ben Taylor and Thinking bball. Always good to see him get these looks, and guys like Nate Duncan and Danny Leroux of Dunc’d On calling some LP games. Ben truly is one of the best basketball content creators out there, period.
I can’t believe this dude is making content for the NBA now. (I loved the Wilt Chamberlain documentary by the way.) However, you do realize how many people are gonna think they can do the same thing now, because the biggest problem the basketball is too many people think they understand it.
Thinking Basketball, you made it! I'm a fan of your channel!
Man he was 6’8 240 as a rookie and then 10 years later dwarfs that version of himself 😂
No
He's apparently the first person to ever get bigger past age 18
@@poly_g6068 no shit I was saying he was a big ass 18 year old and looked small compared to the older version
@@poly_g6068 giannis grew 2 inches after joining the league. he came in at 6'9 and even playing spotty point guard minutes, now he's 6'11, more like 7 ft with shoes
I've never rooted for him but it's especially unbelievable that he's survived the three point revolution to keep being one of the best (or perhaps the very best) in the league.
What’s unbelievable about it. He has more space than ever now. 7 guys averaged 30 last year
@@brendanbloom3366 It just makes it more shocking to think of what previous legends would average today, himself included. Obviously this is not a prime LeBron but man, we're looking at 35ppg minimum
@@brendanbloom3366 Really really appreciate your comment. "What’s unbelievable about it. He has more space than ever now. 7 guys averaged 30 last year" is probably one of the most insightful intelligent sagacious and profound ideas ever thought of in the history of humanity.
This was an Awesome breakdown. More of this plz👍🏿
Thinking Basketball on the official page? Def more of this.
Glad to see thinking basketball is finally getting recognition 🙌
Crazy that the second Cleveland stint wasn't even mentioned at all and some would consider that to be one of his greatest years ever.
Love lebron James seen his career from the start at Sacramento man he still great and playing blows my mind I’m a grown man now wow time flies, ima be bummed out wen he retire like I was when Reggie Miller left, I love NBA, grew to love & appreciate all hoopers no more favorites just like the game
i love thinking basketballs content 10/10
Yes, Thinking Basketball!!
Incredible content
The 2010s was a golden age for the sports world.
Basketball: LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant
Soccer: Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar
Tennis: Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer
I get the impression that the next generation of stars in all sports is inferior.
Steph isn’t even the best pg of the 2010s

@KodakicyBOOM 💯👍🏼
@Kodakicynah he said it right in the first comment
The king
Funny they don’t talk about Lebrons second stint in Cleveland. That was hands down without a shadow of a doubt the absolute best version of Lebron James.
As an avid LeBron fan, Miami LeBron is hands down the better version of LBJ. I would put it this way;
1. Miami LeBron
2. Cavalier (2nd)LeBron
3. Cavalier (1st) LeBron
4. High School LeBron
5. Lakers LeBron
Miami lebron was not better than Cleveland lebron. Number 1 2011 lebron in the finals, doesn’t happen to cleveland lebron. Number 2, 2018 lebron is the best player ever and far and away the best version of lebron. Number 3, lebron in those finals vs the warriors averaged a 33, 12 and 10 triple double, led both teams in points rebounds and assists while averaging 35 13 and 8, and then led both teams and all players in everything while coming back from a 3-1 deficit vs a team that broke the all time regular season win record.
@@sportstalkonly1442 we know 2011 he played horrible but lebron prove the next year he was greater then 2011 lebron, but the point they were getting at is his peak, was 2nd stint Cleveland lebron better then Miami lebron? I don't think so.

Second stint in Cleveland Bron is the most complete version to me, lethal mid range fade away. Still hyper athletic with a three ball that was falling.

People has to remember levton entered the league at the age of 17
His longevity cuz he was able to grow with the league
