- Many users of GSX are not happy with the placement of the ground vehicles or the routes the passengers walk to their aircraft and as such, many wonderful people in the flight sim community have created Custom GSX profiles to make their airports look much more realistic and the GSX addon work perfectly alongside the airport sceneries. However, installing lots of these can be time consuming and potentially get files in the wrong place. This new tool makes all of this really easy!

Thank you for this wonderful video! You covered everything it does really well! I hope people get lots of use out of this and it makes at least one persons flight planning simpler. Watch out for future updates! We are still working on this and improving it.
Thank you very much for bringing attention to this great addon. It truly is a game chnager when it comes to installing GSX prfoiles. I would call myself more than proficient with GSX and still love to use this to install profiles.
The mere fact that you can choose the profile you want to use if there are multiple available in the download, that it checks for duplicates and automatically overwrites old installs is really awesome.
Hoprefully this will get more people interested in using and maybe even creating their own GSX profiles.

Definitely worth it. One of my favourite add-ons!
Just be patient with it and note that the quality of the profiles you download from third parties can vary quite a bit. Some profiles may even make you curse GSX when, in fact, it is the profile which is the problem.

Nice. Maybe at some point gsx will be worth my time. Its been my biggest regret purchase in the sim. It just takes so much time, and without having a good profile gsx becomes distracting and even frustrating. Over time im sure things will get better and easier to use
I understand that. It definetly takes some time to get used to the GSX workflow. If you are looking for a more automatic experience, plugins like Fenix2GSX might be with a try for you
You don't have to use the whole GSX "system" - I don't use any of the boarding or refuelling tools. I don't have many profiles installed and it still works perfectly for me. I mainly use it to have the vehicles drive up at the beginning and end of my flight and for the pushback function, which works almost perfectly every time without even having profiles installed.

I programmed all my important MSFS related folders to my StreamDeck buttons ..so it is really quick to open those and install GSX profiles or other stuff manually . So this tool is not for me , but for others it is really game changer :) as mentioned somewhere below in comment section FSDT should create their own .. tool ..or inside-the-box profile database inside current GSX installer tool . Like if you are installing Fenix liveries from their tool .. but all profiles FSDT or community made in one place would be reallly great for us . Maybe sound of future , but some day .. maybe 🙏
The installer also checks and deletes duplicate profiles when installing so maybe it could still save you some steps.
All of those profiles should have been browsable and installable from within GSX from the beginning, I hope FSDT has that on their roadmap.
But FSDT hasn't created any of these profiles, they have been done by the amazing FS community members so they couldn't have had them available to browse and download. With new airports also being released all the time, again the FS community create profiles that adapt to the new scenery.
@@Easyjetsimpilothe meant that it should be a download page for the profiles in the "launcher" and ppl would upload it to gsx servers, so we dont need to browse the web for profiles
Ah fair enough. Would be nice, but to be honest, I actually find Flightsim.to a much easier site to navigate than the GSX/FSDT installer. Very clunky.
@@Easyjetsimpilot yeah the installer is dated, searching on site is fine, but would be a nice to be 1 product considering its a payed addon

That is setup in your aircraft config file, not you airport config files 👍

Hi guys, I don’t know but when I upload the airport through the drag&drop application I cannot see the airport inside the game. I check the position and it’s correctly but nothing appear inside msfs, anyone can help me ?

@@Easyjetsimpilot but once you download a profile how do you get to the .ini file to drag it into MSFS
Honestly I don't see the need for this, I have my MSFS folder from GSX as a shortcut on the quickaccess bar, just drag and drop the ini files.
This app also checks for duplicates which installing manually doesn't. Duplicate profiles is a pretty common problem with GSX so it would still save you time.
For the price of this product I am very disappointed. I have reverted back to standard vehicles and deleted GSX. The load radius on vehicles is appalling. As soon as pushback is completed and the tow reverses, the side mirrors disappear. As soon as it arrives back at the ramp (if it makes it) everything disappears. Even the suitcases are visible, but zoom out one click and they disappear. Not good enough for me.
LOD chaning in GSX is very agressive that is correct. I wouldn't say it makes the product unusable. To decrase the issues you are having you could increase the Object level of detail slider in the MSFS setting. That will delay the LOD popping a bit
Just to clarify, the product described in this video is free, its GSX the program its made to be used with that costs money!
Considering what artificial intelligence can already do today, technological progress and the fact that GSX costs similarly to a AAA game... well, let's be honest, it is a completely outdated and primitive program. The truth is that we, users of niche titles like MSFS (thankfully becoming more and more popular), buy such crap software not because we really think it's good, but because there is simply nothing else to choose from. Therefore, I sincerely believe that as soon as a more modern program appears, gsx will not be needed (I hope so). Just look at how amazing Beyond ATC looks. Regards!
