I would have been satisfied with just the condensed milk chocolate but wrapping in rice flour and that additional dusting puts this over the top. Thanks for sharing!

I just love that when you put condensed milk and chocolate powder together you did a 'brigadeiro' which is a tradicional brazilian sweet, usually we eat them at kids birthday parties and it's a classic! Loved the video!

You can steam the rice flour mixture. Not in the oven. Old fashion way is to steam the mochiko mixture. That’s how my grandma made it, no microwave back in the day.
As to why she’s putting it in, no clue. The only thing I can think of, since she’s not closing the bowl completely is to let some of the water evaporate. Maybe the mochi needs to be „baked“ a bit aswell? I have no idea :/ But I’m pretty sure you can put it into the oven aswell, it needs much more time in there though. Maybe even putting it on the stove, but then probably stir it because it might burn if you just let it sit.
Can l ask u what type of glutinous flour u use for the last part u cover the glutinous dough... Is it uncooked or fried glutinous flour ?? U use to cover the dough b4 u put in the fridge.... I have this idea to use this dough for a second recipe... I mix pandan juice to the dough to make ONDE2 with raw palm sugar .. Then coat it with steamed coconut n little salt added in. Usually ONDE2 the glutinous flour is mix with water....n pandan juice.. After rolling into ball shapes have to boiled in hot water until the balls floating up to know it's ready...then coat with steamed coconut.. it's very tasty but l prefer ur way of mixing the glutinous flour it's more chewy yaaa ...
I'm having the same difficulty ... with that name, it's not well known here ... in a store I went to, they asked if it was gluten-free rice flour, but I think it isn't, because of the research I did here in Brazil the name would be "glutinous rice flour" (farinha de arroz glutinoso), which suggests that it is gluten ... and I don't know if it is the same as in English they also call it "sweet rice flour" ... it would be good if they could clarify or show a picture of the product packaging they used ...
