Thiel Family Story - Part 1

From a young age Yvette Thiel knew that she was interested in one day adopting a child. Naturally a bit hesitant about welcoming a teenage boy and his 2 younger sisters into her home as foster children, it was not a difficult decision to later adopt.

Oh this is so awesome. I was adopted from Russia when I was 10 :D I love my parents and I do plan on adopting myself a 10 year old if God puts it on my heart. I have a 4 year old right now :D I am sooo happy

I know what it is like to be adopted. In my opinion I was very lucky to be adopted by the family that I was adopted by. I am so happy to be saved from the conditions in south korea.

You should also share the story of the single guy from that same video who wanted to adopt a baby but was convinced to adopt a teenager. He beams when he speaks of that boy and we need more people like him, and Ms. Thiel, to adopt teens. That's precisely why I'm adopting teens.

I know this was all part of a video that is sent out to prospective foster care and adoptive parents. However, the one story that inspired me the most, as a single guy, is the single guy who adopted a boy. He was featured in the dvd. Where is his story?

this happens more then you realize. Often times relatives aren't equipped to care for another family members children.

i myself is never married but i hope i will have the chance that you have becoming an adoptive parent..siblings is great to have with but it would be even greater their biological parents doesnt want them anymore..LOL
