Excellent to see Binsted and some of the many pathways in the area getting some airtime - thank you! You chose a great route which is my regular running course and similarly to you, 9 times out 10 I never see another soul. I believe the lakes were constructed in the 1970s purely for irrigation purposes when agriculture in the area moved from hops to potatoes.
I was confused a couple of times firstly as we have Binstead in West Sussex near Chichester and secondly because I always associate oast houses with Kent! You watch and learn!! Beautiful village again - and nice to be reminded of a time when it had not rained for weeks - rather the opposite currently! Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you for making this lovely video of your walk in and around Binsted. We're very lucky to have such beautiful places to walk in the parish; and hope you and Logan will make a return visit to explore further. Meanwhile, Happy New Year from Binsted Parish Council.
Just to see a thatch house in person for me would be amazing. England has such lovely villages and homes. I could visit each church you show Dave and be so happy. Love old churches. The history of all these beautiful places is wonderful. Thanks Dave and Logan for a gorgeous walk . Happy New Year Dave and Logan🎉Hope the New Year brings us lots of amazing walks with you both.
Yet another excellent video, and even a little "Video Diary" at the end! Keep 'em coming, you are my "stand-in" walker, you do all the heavy lifting, I get to enjoy beautiful countryside from the comfort of my armchair, sometimes accompanied by a little drop of what-does-you-good. Happy New Year Dave.
Another great walk Dave. We've been catching up with some of your lovely walks this holiday. Thank you for sharing. Seeing that sunshine makes me feel like I want next summer to hurry up Happy new year to you and Logan 🥰 take care
Another great walk Dave. I also use videopad for my videos! Like you I started on the freebie a couple of years ago and eventually bought the package. I've been happy with it so far. I was also thinking you must have a very well organised filling system for your raw footage, stills and research? Cudos for keeping track of it all!👍
Thanks Mark. I just shove everything for a specific walk into it's own file. A lot of it gets deleted once the video has been filmed, edited & published. I am a great believer in trying to keep things as simple as possible!
Hello Dave that was a nice walk! Felt like we were on it with you. I guess it was a bit to hot for whippet zooms. Is Logan still doing them. Happy new year!!! Bless you from Ralph and Sheila
Hello again Dave. Lovely walk on a hot day, but there was a number of trees for shade. The first ploughing match I ever took part in was at Binstead, but I've never been back since. I don't think any editing software is completely free. I use Wondershare Filmora and the files I upload are about 2gb. I know I asked you once before, but are you using a Gopro and if you are, what is the wireless microphone system . Happy New year to you and the family.
Hi Lionel. I use the Gopro 10 all of the time now and usually use the Rode Wireless Go although if it is very windy, I revert back to the shotgun microphone (which isn't wireless & so if I am away from the camera, I have to use a long lead!). The dead cat on the shotgun is great and really absorbs any wind noise, even when it is blowing hard.
Stunning beauty in the countryside of england
Thank you Keith. :)
A great walk, Dave, and amazing that there were no other walkers.
Thanks Jim. Yes, it really was quite peaceful around there!
Enjoy your pint Dave! Another walk and much enjoyed by me, bucolic and interesting ! Thankyou.
Thank you Gareth.

The best way to end a walk on a hot Summer day!
Great walk Dave. Me and my wife did it last weekend. The weather wasn’t quite as good!
Countryside walks are certainly better in glorious Summer sunshine & blue skies for sure! Thanks for watching.

Thanks Ralph. Yes, Logan loves his "Zoomies" but if it is a hot day, he takes it easy!
