- New to Innovative Percussion for 2019, the FS-TR Tom Rarick marching drum stick. The original idea was to design a marching stick that wasn't too front heavy and lends itself well to both snare drum and tenor drums. The stick is built with a compact round bead and features a gradual taper. These features help the stick to be agile and more responsive off the head. The FS-TR is built for the current marching market and the demands that are placed on modern day performers.
Features:
White Hickory
Diameter .704"
Round bead
17" Length

They basically look like an Innovative version of Roger’s sticks so that the Bluecoats are using something closer to his sticks since the Bluecoats aren’t with Vic
Honestly, if you play with both the Roger Carter and the FS-TR you would see "feel" that they are completely different both in response and overall feel. Both are very good sticks yet different.
I'm so excited for these!!
Chris Morales They’re great
hi dad
It looks like a mix between an MS5 and a Roger Carter stick
There are literally amazing sticks
Respect
Hey Tom!
Imagine if they were in stock though
Will the bluecoats be using these now
Skittlz I believe so.
Well he is the caption head so he will decide himself, but I think they will use them
Fletcher Myhre Caption head? I thought he was writing. Is Roger done with the Bluecoats?
Curtlon Bryan no he but I kind of assumed bc he was writing (tom rarrick) that he was caption head but it turns out that the caption head is roger carter 😂😂
they currently use them
I didn’t know Roger didn’t write the music
He writes the warmups and changes some things in the show books!
I thought roger carter was the caption head
He is the tech, He doesn't write the beats
he is, but rarick writes the book
Roger Carter writes all the warmups though.
Think of it like Murray Gusseck and Jim Cassela, one wrote the phat warm-ups and the other wrote the phat show beats
