you know what....coming back and rewatching PoT I honestly can say wow...the writers must have been on some good ass drugs to make this series and that's why I love it...mofos playing underwater, flying in the sky, dinosaur extinction moves...lmao....this anime when it first came out was the reason I started playing tennis
this anime got my mother into anime when it first aired, it's like my 2nd anime after naruto and my first anime to have red the manga because my mother kept using the computer and i had nothing better to do than to read it with her lol. it;s riduculous over the top but I stil have good memories of it.

It got dramatic around nationals when Ryoma and Kentaro split the ball in half to avoid either of them from losing. The U-17 arc has been nothing but super powers and that’s fine it took a bit to accept but it’s become so exaggerated that it’s normal.

And at some point, they forgot that tennis is about hitting a ball back and forth, given how both players were chasing the ball and trying to hit it at the same time, ignoring the fact that they were soaring up in the skies high above the field and were clearly way out of bounds, making it hard to define whose side it was on, and you get the idea.
Now I’m starting to think the only realistic sports in Japan is volleyball. But that doesn’t mean much because Haikyuu is exciting af. Especially when we they go into either the ✨3rd set✨ or a✨deuce✨
