Jesus lived an average 1st century Jewish life, without sinning according to the Law . Because the problem had been that no mere mortal could live that righteously, Jesus came to do that, fulfilling the covenant. So the fact that he was a regular boy learning his father’s trade as a tektōn, and then doing the work and travel as an nomadic rabbi, fits the local custom and culture.
Facts. Jesus WAS God incarnate. He was teaching in the Temple at 12 years old. He knew false doctrine when he heard it. He did NOT go learn the false doctrine of India. Absurd!
@@jaydublisIS.** But what makes it false other than it being different to your tradition. I doubt Christ would outright reject the Hindu culture. Except for perhaps the polytheistic component. As an Indian Christian ✝️ I can affirm that ability to cook false theories in regard to Jesus is beyond understanding by Hindus and similar religions… It’s not just misguiding matter but a mockery of Jesus in their mindset.. as an Indian Christian we do face this accusations and associations of Jesus being Hindu and what not nonsense every single day by Hindus.. They call us Indian Christian’s converts for money and rice bags and sell off.. The racism in India towards Christianity is all time high at the current year and age, especially with the political back up and power of organisations like BJP, VHP, RSS, Christians and faith if Christian’s are all time high risky.. they simple want Christian’s to be terminated and outcasted.. Meanwhile all the west Christian countries are welcoming Hindus and Indian natives to their country and allowing to open temples on large scale and let grow their Hindu religion easily without restrictions, In India on the other hand 300+ churches are destroyed every single year.. He was in Nazareth: "And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued to be subject to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and people." - Luke 2:51-52
There was no mistery of the lost years of Jesus life from 12 years old to 30 years old . The Bible clearly says where Jesus was during that period . Luke 2 verse 39 : When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. Jesus was in Nazareth . Verse 40 : And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him. Jesus did not go anywhere but stay in Nazareth . As He is the Son of God , grace of God was on Him and due to the grace He grew healthy and God gave Him wisdom and knowledge . Luke 4:16 : He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read. Jesus grew in Nazareth , not grew in other places , let along going abroad either to India or England or somewhere else . Mark 6 : 1- 3 : Jesus left there and went to his hometown, accompanied by his disciples. 2 When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. “Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given him? What are these remarkable miracles he is performing? 3 Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph,[a] Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him. Jesus was well known to his neighbours and the people of Nazareth as a carpenter , just like his human father Joseph who was also a carpenter . If Jesus was away for years and not seen in his hometown , it would have been mentioned by the people in his hometown . From these verses it was clear that Jesus did not go anywhere but stay with Joseph and Mary in Nazareth , grew there , become a carpenter and well known by the people there before starting His mission of salvation ...
In Matthew 2:13-23, an angel appears to Joseph in a dream and tells him to flee to Egypt with Mary and Jesus. The family left immediately and remained in Egypt until Herod died, then returned to Israel.

5:41 The current day state of Israel is not the same Israel in the Bible the state of Israel exists since 1945 and before that it was all Palestine under the Ottoman Empire.
The bible actually doesn't say that. It says he was the son of a carpenter, but it never states that Jesus was a carpenter, we might assume he was because Joseph was so it makes sense Jesus would have learned the trade. But the bible actually doesn't state it. Fun little nuance!
This is THE carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon, (Mark 6:3) the book of Mark being written within 5 years of the death of Jesus. As the first born son of Joseph who is evidenced to have been deceased by the time of him becoming the Messiah. Jesus would have taken up the father's responsibility as the head of the family and run the father's business to provide for his mother and his siblings. when he left to become the Messiah this responsibility would then be passed to Jude.
When I first saw Billy on YT, I had just started my Christian journey. With my faith being so new, hearing Billy talk about Christianity had me second guessing and really caused internal conflict in my beliefs. Why I didn't try to research Billy's claims is beyond me and frankly lazy on my part. But I let his statements linger in my thoughts. And I remember praying to God asking him that if what Billy said was false to reveal it to me. Thank you God for answering my prayers and thank you Wes for fighting for Christianity.
There's also a medieval story that Jesus traveled to Cornwall and England with Joseph of Arimathea and ministered there before starting his ministry in Israel (seems unlikely).
There’s so many things wrong with the idea it’s mind-boggling, but one I find especially amusing is that Britain was outside of the Roman Empire at the time. It would have been ridiculously hard just to get there, never mind issues with logic, logistics, theology, and Jesus’ entire way of operating. The story I heard of Joseph of Arimathea going there later on is also insanely unlikely, but by the mid 40’s AD it would have at least been part of the Roman Empire instead of a completely foreign land.
Luke 4:16 He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, "where he had been brought up" "As was his custom", a custom or tradition is something an individual is following for a long period. That means he was reading in synagogue since his brought up years. He never came to India. If he did he would have preached polytheism too.
Yeshua's teachings have been hand picked to fit the narrative of control. I mean that in the sense that anything he learned and shared a little that didn't fit that narrative i.e. the nostic texts wasn't excepted and put in the cannon.
so conclusion: While the idea of Jesus traveling to India is intriguing and has been supported by legends and speculative writings, it lacks conclusive historical evidence. However, the similarities between Jesus’s teachings and Eastern spiritual philosophies continue to inspire dialogue between Christianity and Eastern traditions. Whether or not Jesus physically traveled to India, his message of love, compassion, and spiritual awakening resonates with universal truths (that both Jewish and Eastern philosophies share) that transcend cultural boundaries.
I had a World History professor at a University ask where Mary and Joseph took Jesus when Herod was trying to kill him, and when I answered Egypt, she said "Well that's one claim, but it's actually more likely that Mary and Joseph took him to India and raised him there." and then proceeded to try and show all of the ways Jesus was influenced by Hinduism. I was baffled where that came from, and that it was being taught as fact. Thanks for refuting this theory so succinctly.
"It's more likely" don't you just love it when people use words like that with no basis whatsoever. It's more likely that he traveled thousands of miles to India, rather than right next door to Egypt? Amazing how people can be so educated and yet so foolish at the same time.
It's such a stupid theory too if you're trying to demonstrate Jesus could have been influenced by eastern thought too, considering Alexandria egypt had a thriving Buddhist community in the first century due to King Ashoka's missionaries.
I don't think he did though. He basicly spent this entire video saying he doesn't know and it doesn't matter because the youth of other historical figures doesn't have as much detail. That doesn't tell us anything and is designed to keep the mind trapped in the narrative.
@ejppomeroy, She was most probably a member of one of the orange and/or maroon-cladded HariRama HariKhrisna groups who had paid homage to the Hindu Gurus of India. John Lenon of the famous Beatles band was responsible for making them popular. These Gurus were adept in spinning some tantalizing, mystical tales and were able to enrich themselves (receiving gifts of Rolls Royces even) with donations from their ardent followers. These Gurus have since lost their appeal as we don't hear much about them these days.

It would be difficult for Jesus to travel so many miles, but he can walk through walls and on water? The gospel narrative says that his followers and disciples had a hard time understanding his teachings. Could it be because they have never heard this type of teaching before not found in their religious traditions?
If he could walk through walls and on water, why would he need to travel to india to learn from monks? - That goes against the whole narrative of the Bible. It's ridiculous He didn't learn how to gain mystical powers from aligning his kundalini, from harnessing his Qi, from balancing his chakras, or from studying secret hidden Gnostic teachings. Right from the start his was a miracle birth.
There's no indication that He did anything like that early on though. For instance, in John 6:41-42, the Jewish leaders reject Christ because they knew Mary and Joseph. If they were that close with His parents, wouldn't they've surely known if He had performed miracles as a young boy or traveled a great distance? That ling of a trip was a months if not years-long endeavor in those days, not a plane trip like today. It's most likely that He was still in Nazareth, not sinning obviously, but not doing anything notable either. The only thing mentioned of His childhood is that He went to Jerusalem every year and stayed in the temple on Passover talking with and answering the questions of the Jewish leaders, as Luke mentions in Luke 2:41-52. Can't make a trip from India to Jerusalem every year. Not much is mentioned of His childhood because it's not relevant. Aside from the virgin birth and not sinning, Jesus was just being a normal early 1st century Jewish kid.
History nerd that is incorrect actually a trip from the part of the world that Jesus was in as a child he left that area at age 14 by boat it was very common to be able to travel to India on the spice roots of the sea and then of course there's the silk Road which is the way that Jesus travel back in a much longer journey from ages 14 through 29 Jesus was in India Northern India parts of Tibet parts of the Kush which is now Pakistan learning all sorts of spiritual traditions , techniques of achieving god consciousness.he studied vedanta. After his crucifixion he returned to India where he lived to an older age and Thomas followed him there Jesus was an enlightened being a son of God not the son of God
@GerardMcwilliams-k4l First, you might be able to be understood better, if you actually used punctuation. As for your argument, you really don't know what you're talking about. The Silk Road did exist but it was to China, not India. It was not 1 cohesive thing(which is why some still prefer to call it the Silk Routes rather than Road) and does not go through India or Pakistan. They were connected to it by several feeder roads but the main Silk Road is much further north, going through what now is Iraq, Northern Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, and countries like that. In other words, Central Asia. Secondly, nobody traveled the entire overland route, that would've been a long, long journey in those days when the fastest mode of travel was a guy on a horse. It was a series of exchanges and middlemen. It was not a road like how we think of the term today or some Am-Trak rail line but a trade route. It's 2000 miles to from Israel to Pakistan and 3500 to India. That'd be a long journey even today. As for the Maritime Silk Road, it was not an extension of the overland road. You're also contradicting yourself by claiming he took the maritime route and then studied in Pakistan which is nowhere close to the maritime road. You're right in the sense that people did often travel the whole maritime route, but the traders were the only people who did. Just like the overland route, it was not a travel enterprise but a trade one. Also, both routes, while safer than the other paths, were still incredibly dangerous due to bandits/pirates, bad weather, political instability, etc. Regular people simply would not make that trip, especially not the poor and middle classes(such that it existed) doing it for fun, much less for years in an unknown potentially harmful environment. Average people just simply couldn't afford that.
Why isn't it possible that Jesus as a Jewish person was influenced by Hindu practices like Meditation and Sadhu practices and might have come to his own conclusions which wasn't that uncommon in India as well. And also Nepal is the birthplace of the Buddha, Buddhism didn't reach there only in the 7th century

@@akshathdharmadheeran6074In other words, Hinduism is a contradictory system that can claim anything and everything. Sigh... Jesus said he was God and taught laws/dogmas - is that a Bhuddism/Hinduism philosophy?
So the real questions are: If Jesus was in fact a real human being and his birth, infancy, and adulthood, were important enough to write about and record in the Bible, Why were his teen and adolescent years NOT important enough to be included in the Bible as well? 🤔 Why was just a snippet of his "magical" powers as a teen questioned IN the Bible and not anything else he did as a growing child? Why has it been kept an "secret" and out of a most important book, is the main question?
We can actually know what Jesus did up until his 30s he was a rabbi that was actually respected as one by other rabbi and seen in Luke so that would mean if you look at the path of how one would become a rabbi you will see that the training starts when you are a preteen and you don't actually become a rabbi till you are 30 (when his ministry started) so it fits perfectly in the timeline given in luke
Glad someone else knows this fact. According to the Levitical Law, the can begin training at 25 years old and become a Priest at 30. Jesus was a Priest after the order of Melchiezidik; however he was still in line with the age requirement of the Law of Moses
That's just a guess. If he was correcting his teachers at 12 there is no reason to think that he would need anywhere near the same amount of time as the average person to complete his training. He really didn't need any. It's okay to say you don't actually know.
@dondrejames1679 just because he excelled doesn't mean that they would fast track him and he wouldn't be talking to other rabbis while be respected as a fellow rabbi if he didn't do the required training for it. If he didn't, he would have been treated differently
@@TylerDurden-yt6pv they don't control anything. Jesus is supposed to be God. If he wants to be fast tracked he'll be fast-tracked. The man was already treated differently by everyone who met him, right?

If Thomas made it to India as an apostle ofcourse Christ could. I don't know about learning a particular religion but the route of India's religion is Dharam which translates to Compassion which Christ had in abundance. Peace
The evidence for Thomas' travel to India is likewise secondary and historically shaky. However, unlike the few later stories we have of Thomas going to India, we have nothing until the 1800s that even hints that Jesus left Roman occupied Israel during his lifetime. All accounts of Jesus' teaching that can be historically connected to the century he lived are thoroughly Jewish. Both the Hindu and Buddhist concepts of dharmic peace are mutually exclusive to the teachings of the historic Jesus we find in the Gospels.

No, they are not all the same and many very different, but it’s not “weird” to wonder about whether or not He travelled or even taught in other places. Furthermore, I believe the breadth and width of His entire message could not have been transcribed by the number of Jewish/Greek/Latin scribes or further editing done by the Catholic Church- something many Protestants fail to see took place.

Hi, please accept my two cents before Wes responds. The argument for miraculous travel is sound since we have examples of this with Elijah and Philip doing it in scripture. HOWEVER, simply because something is possible doesn't mean that it occured. (-I could say Jesus miraculously travelled to the moon and spent his teenage years there-) We need evidence to support every claim but Notrovich's claims are demonstrably false because 1) no one else saw this "gospel of Isa" and 2) the temple that he claimed had the document said they did not and that they never had a Russian visitor.
It isn't about could he, it is about did he. Anything is possible but where is the evidence and why would a first century Jewish carpenter living in poverty travel to a foreign country to learn about Hindu? The burden of proof is on the ones who make the claim, not the other way around.
@@perfectpeace00maybe you christians never understood what Jesus was talking about in the first place. He supposed to be God, right? If you can believe God needed to sacrifice himself for your sins arbitrarily then it shouldn't be much of a stretch to accept that he traveled to foreign lands.

Not to end the suffering of others. It's selfish naval gazing.
0:40 that's hilarious. Did someone who believed in God and believed himself to be God borrow from a religion that is rather anti-theist (even if poorly with weak arguments)? I'll go with no.
Well, technically, as I understand it, both from the college course I took on Buddhism and my interaction with an 'anti-theist,' Buddhism teaches that the existence or non-existence of God is 'a question not leading to enlightenment,' with the whole goal of Buddhism (which also teaches reincarnation--as many times as it takes for you to reach enlightenment and achieve whatever Nirvana is, unless you choose to stay behind in this world of non-stop suffering caused by desire and help everyone else get enlightened too, which makes you a Boddhisatva) is 'Enlightenment,' as Wes described it. Whereas my father, who's been a Christian, an agnostic, an atheist, an _evangelical_ atheist, and has finally 'graduated' to being a self-proclaimed *anti-theist* is not content simply not to believe in God or to leave it as an unanswered/unanswerable question, but to actively reject and _attack_ Christianity and Christians like myself. He doesn't target other gods, only the Judeo/Christian one and His followers.
PS: Wes, maybe this is a question you can answer for me that I've been grappling with for several years now: At what point does 'honoring our father [and mother],' obeying them, etc., get overridden by a parent's anti-theism as I've just described above? When do I get to stop obeying my father when he demands that I not mention Christianity in his presence--as has have my sister and her husband, and by implication, their children--or face the blasphemous consequences? I know I can still shake the dust from my feet and pray for him from afar, but does the commandment to obey him ever get overridden by the mere mention of Christianity eliciting a tirade blasphemy against the Holy Spirit from him? I had to do battle with him to have a pastor present at the 'Informal Farewell Gathering' three days after her death before that they planned entirely without consulting me--in fact, attempting to _exclude_ me from being present, for my Christian mother, who passed away this past November ... and fortunately succeeded by telling him neither _my_ wishes _nor_ his are relevant; it's my _mother's_ wishes that were to be honored, gave him examples of her Christian beliefs and actions, and told him she would be _appalled_ at the thought of not even getting a Christian blessing said over her body before she was unceremoniously rushed to the crematory (even though he told me there was no such thing as a soul). In fact, I'm not entirely sure where I got all the 'right' words to say from, they just spilled out of me onto his answering machine, and I was surprised they actually worked for once! . He is an abusive narcissist, and I'm his designated 'scapegoat,' _still_ at nearly 60 years of age. Also, narcissists are incapable of LOVE, which is a sign that they do not know God, nor do they _want_ to, while we are told to avoid evil. Could he be demonically possessed, and is there anything I can do about it? At what point does Psalm 27:10 kick in? ("If my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will take me up." I actually want to get that tattooed on my forearm so I can be reminded of it every depressing day of the rest of my depressing 'life' of non-stop suffering.) . Absolutely nothing I do or say or think, like, believe, don't like, _don't_ do, etc., will ever meet with his approval; he's come out and _said_ so and formally disowned me as his daughter in writing more than once ... only to come back, pretend to have changed, and abuse me all over again, repeating the same process until he finally _meets_ God and doesn't get a chance to say he's sorry. And his being 'wrong' is just _not_ in a narcissist's ability to process mentally when the evidence is staring them in the face! (If you were to watch any of H.G. Tudor, the 'Ultra' narcissist's, videos that explain narcissism in copious detail, it would give you an idea of what I'm talking about, as well as the narcissist's own thoughts, although it kind of depends on the 'type' of narcissist, to wit: ruclips.net/video/nT6EWIVuruI/видео.html I'm almost certain that he would come under the category of a 'greater' or 'covert' narcissist. And the reason it's incurable, except via a miracle, is because 'Narcissistic Personality Disorder' is more than a mental illness; it's a defect of _personality_ and usually a lifelong one that starts in early childhood in which LOVE is rejected as a weakness.) . Not only that, but, before it ever dawned on me that he was a narcissist since he's so good at hiding it, and as the scapegoat child of a narcissist, you actually _believe_ what the narcissist tells you about yourself, including that you're not just a bad person, but crazy (because they've _driven_ you crazy and know exactly how to push all your buttons to make you look crazy to others--e.g., induce a panic attack--right on cue because they _put_ them there in the first place!), and before he really stepped up his abuse of my mother in order to back up his claim that she already had dementia, using her pre-existing, stress-related conditions of high blood pressure and diabetes to give her the vascular dementia that finally killed her after 4-5 years after it started to manifest, I had already bought the house next door to him, where I'm now stuck because my husband and I can't afford to move. So the prescribed 'cure' for narcissistic abuse (which _all_ the experts agree on) of 'no contact' is impossible with him). Also, of course, I don't want him or my sister or nieces (who have undergone the same kind of abuse I have due to their own parents' being narcissists) to go to hell. (Also, he's been listening or reading too much Richard Dawkins and other atheists' work, which is entirely uninformed and ridiculous, e.g., adding a fourth 'mother' figure to the 'TRI-nity' and he knows enough Latin to KNOW that it's ridiculous! And I don't want to repeat about what he said about the Holy Spirit, except to say that he thinks the whole thing was made up by a 'priest' in the 300s to keep the people in line. . He also wanted me to read a website called 'God is imaginary,' which I resisted at first but then finally decided to take a peek ... and was easily able to debunk almost every argument on the site without even thinking about it--based entirely on what I _have_ read of the Bible and simple logic alone! Seriously, anyone who's a real Christian here, have a look at it and scoff at its supposed 'authority' and the lack of research about Christianity that's gone into the almost-laughable arguments that have gone into it, for examples, 'most Christians ... therefore'--not _all_ Christians, not what the BIBLE says, but 'most'!) In fact, I discovered that he'd copied and pasted his own 'arguments' directly from that site! The conclusive one for him was that he prayed in Jesus's name, believing, and then God dared _not_ to give him what he asked for, and he says, without taking context into account, that Jesus's instructions to use the 'magic words' (as he thought of them) didn't come with any exceptions. (Yeah, that's one he copied and pasted at me direct from that site.) I honestly believe the devil is successfully pushing _his_ buttons, and the reason he once gave for pushing his NON-belief in something on others convinced me he's just been looking for an excuse all these years to do whatever he wants and stop worrying about going to hell! Which was when, it seems to me, when he lost what once appeared to be his conscience--a living example and PROOF of rejecting Pascal's wager, that 'most atheists' think they've debunked! . What to do as a Christian???
@@TheEngineerd I don't have time at the moment, but I'll look and see which of the required texts I still have, although the course started with the history of Buddhism, which has its original roots in Hinduism. And, just like Christians, you can't lump ALL Buddhists together; some believe in gods, as in Tibetan Buddhism, and others, like Zen, are just the bare basics; no belief in a deity necessary, but you can go ahead and believe in one if you want. But they do still believe in reincarnation into this world of suffering until you release all desire through _meditation_ ... not on a specific topic or verse in the Bible as Christians and Jews are supoosed to do, but with the goal of emptying your mind and, as Wes said, achieving enlightenment with the realization that you don't really exist. So that the suffering will end and the 'non-existent' you can move on to Nirvana ... where the Buddha is, but nobody knows what that actually is!
*You have put to rest one of the nagging questions in my mind about the Bible. I’m SO THANKFUL Billy Tyrone Karlson (a.k.a., “Billy Carson”) led me to your channel and to Apologetics Canada! Praise God!!* 🙏❤
Hello Wes, can you please do a video explaining the pre existing texts before the Bible? Such as the annunaki tablets, and other stories that were before the Bible? I’d like to hear your explanation as to the accuracy of these texts, and what your interpretation is of what you believe it is that our ancestors saw that prompted them to see these “beings”
He can't because he doesn't read the book baggetta for The emerald tablets or any of the ancient Sea scrolls, you would have to listen to Billy Carson in order to get the real information! This man is a false prophet!
Some people seek truth, keeping an open mind and looking objectively at data and applying reason. Others take a perspective of the universe FROM a given, defined mindset and reject matters which call into question their established dogma. That goes with the difference between faith and religion. I notice this guy tosses out the word “cult” in a derogatory way. What defines a “cult”? When a religious group has a billion members, does the mere number of members disqualify it as a “cult”? If so, does it rather upend the entire notion that “a cult is a group of ‘bad’ people”? Here, again, I see one group of people, defined by their beliefs, chastising other groups of people FOR HAVING DIFFERENT BELIEFS. Who is it drawing the lines of “us versus them”? As I said, this fellow and all of his cheering supporters on this thread are the very reason I no longer see value in religion, all while my faith has become deeper.
In your critique of me are you defending your belief against me by chastising me for having different beliefs? Hmm, it almost seems like its you verses me? Dare I say just a different "us vs. them" scenario? Your comment is one of the very reasons I no longer see value in vague a-historical platitudes that end up creating logically contradictory statements in the name of open-mindedness. Looks like your mind might be so opened it fell out.
@@WesHuffJesus is God, so he when entered into the spirit, has been everywhere. There are people in India who have direct experience with Jesus Christ saving them. Omnipresent, omnipotent, God. Amen. 🙏
you did not answer his question about calling Hinduism a cult... by the way the word Hinduism is really not a very accurate way of explaining what it is that Jesus actually studied. yes he did study vedanta and different forms of what would loosely be described yoga and I'm not talking about Hatha yoga the physical exercises called asanas that's a very limited version of what yoga really is in fact The Vedic Cannon is not one Bible it's hundreds of them and it covers everything from mathematics to medicine to food to music to realizing God consciousness which is what happened to Jesus while he was in India at which point he came back to teach the people of his land the falsity of the religion that he had grown up in.he also studied Buddhism, a philosophical branch of The Vedic tree

This is where Mr. Huff proves he hasn't studied other world religions. What Jesus teaches is exactly in line with Hinduism. Maybe Mr. Huff should travel to India himself and do his own research and not rely on second-hand sources.
Everything about Jesus is refuted. His skin colour, his birth, his education, his marriage, his escape, and finally his and his mothers tomb. So, is the foundation of Christianity based on a myriad of untruths?
@@TheMrNgapleez The Ethiopian Bible for one and the President of Russia releasing images from a vault they have opened in decades about Yeshuas true origin. Also you have to remember a lot of these sources have been made hard to find for a reason.
You’re falsely misinterpreting Buddhism. You’re showing Bible scripture but you’re not showing any of your claims against Buddhism. You’re misleading the people.
Jesus warned that many would come in his name. Even the devil can appear as an Angel of light. And that there would be many false ‘copies’ of Jesus. Pray for the gift of discernment. Only one of them is real…he hasn’t returned yet. The rest are all fake.
Jesus had a virgin birth, walked on water, heal the sick, brought the dead back to life, multiply fish, walked through a wall and ascended to heaven but no super powers when it comes to traveling. Noted it!😢
If jesus is god why would he use his power to travel to India and learn from false gods or become a Buddhist monk. It wouldn't make any sense for him to do that even if he could.
I’m glad to have these supposed conjectures put to rest. Your logic seems solid. Thanks Wesley! Funny thing is: To those who try to tell us that Yeshua went to India and learned there, it actually makes Yeshua’s statement more profound when he says all those who came before me are thieves and robbers and no one gets to the Father except thru me.
I feel your understanding of Hinduism isn't complete as even Hinduism is actually a monotheistic religion as well, but has no set path to reach God and so Jesus could have easily combined his Jewish upbringing with Indian concept like Ahimsa and Karma to create the new religion of Christianity

Absurd!

I can affirm that ability to cook false theories in regard to Jesus is beyond understanding by Hindus and similar religions… It’s not just misguiding matter but a mockery of Jesus in their mindset.. as an Indian Christian we do face this accusations and associations of Jesus being Hindu and what not nonsense every single day by Hindus..
This doesn’t surface in any Indian media but you all can search and see the reporting done by some brave people in India to do not support this, just try searching ATROCITIES ON CHRISTIANS INDIA, the results will shock you

The Bible says Jesus was a carpenter in Nazareth. I guess that doesn't sound exciting enough to some people, so they just make things up.
The bible actually doesn't say that. It says he was the son of a carpenter, but it never states that Jesus was a carpenter, we might assume he was because Joseph was so it makes sense Jesus would have learned the trade. But the bible actually doesn't state it. Fun little nuance!
Sir, where in the Bible did it say Jesus was a carpenter?
No. He was a stone mason. Mistranslation.

@@John-fk2ky Yes I agree
Luke 4:16
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read,
"where he had been brought up"
"As was his custom", a custom or tradition is something an individual is following for a long period.
Dude, I greatly appreciate you and your stance for Christ. Keep the videos coming!
so conclusion:
While the idea of Jesus traveling to India is intriguing and has been supported by legends and speculative writings, it lacks conclusive historical evidence.
Thank you for covering this topic. It's been an unanswered question ive had for awhile
Crazy….I’m glad you made it out of that false teaching. God bless!

It would only take 52 days to walk from Israel to India. That's not too outlandish to think.
Lol, he said God embodied on earth couldn't travel 5k miles lol
Very manageable, and obviously those days people had much longer walking routines than nowadays.

It's ridiculous
He didn't learn how to gain mystical powers from aligning his kundalini, from harnessing his Qi, from balancing his chakras, or from studying secret hidden Gnostic teachings.

What!?😂😂😂 He doesn't come to conclusions but was God in a human form walking among us.. He fulfilled the prophecies of old written in the scriptures that spoke of Him.. He is the truth and the way not Hinduism or any other false religions that have popped up throughout time.
@@feelyoung79 Stop being ignorant, all religions lead back to God, Just because people do no have Jesus as their guru does not mean they are on the wrong path to God.

@Alphain Hinduism is a philosophy as much as a religion. There are no dogmas and strict rules unless one decides to religiously follow them. Contradicting idol worship doesn't make one less Hindu
Joseph of Arimathea was a Jewish merchant of foreign metals who traveled overseas. In Glastonbury England they have records of Jesus arriving in merchant ships with his uncle Joseph of Arimathea. You can read about it in a highly recommended book called (The Traditions of Glastonbury)

I Remember that
If Thomas made it to India as an apostle ofcourse Christ could.

@@WesHuffI agree with you that scripture does not point to any evidence he travelled to these places; however I was a little off put by the question you opened with which was “well that’s a weird question”. Especially since it’s not far fetched to connect some of the same principles His messages share including compassion, wisdom, materialism, inner life, temptation, salvation, the future, miracles, discipleship.
@@WesHuff The evidence that he traveled is not secondary or shaky, the same argument can be applied to your thesis where he went during the lost years.
Wes, can you please answer this question that has been asked? I really appreciate your work. My son shared your channel with me. I look forward to your answer brother.
Hi, please accept my two cents before Wes responds.
The argument for miraculous travel is sound since we have examples of this with Elijah and Philip doing it in scripture.
HOWEVER, simply because something is possible doesn't mean that it occured.
(-I could say Jesus miraculously travelled to the moon and spent his teenage years there-)
We need evidence to support every claim but Notrovich's claims are demonstrably false because 1) no one else saw this "gospel of Isa" and 2) the temple that he claimed had the document said they did not and that they never had a Russian visitor.

Buddhism did exist in Nepal before the 7th century, but some scholars may argue that the Tibetan forms of Buddhism (like Vajrayana Buddhism) became prominent in Nepal around the 7th century. @@Slims00 What? You have to be kidding me. Read a book. Ending suffering is literally the main goal of Buddha's teachings. Which in fact is a completely unrealistic prospect. Kind of like how Socialism would work great if mankind weren't corruptible. Even worse, it's to end your own suffering by escaping to Nirvana and leaving the cycle.

He is an abusive narcissist, and I'm his designated 'scapegoat,' _still_ at nearly 60 years of age. Narcissism is notoriously hard if not impossible to treat by psychology or _any_ means and gets more entrenched with age as it becomes the essence of the person's personality. Also, narcissists are incapable of LOVE, which is a sign that they do not know God, nor do they _want_ to, while we are told to avoid evil. Could he be demonically possessed, and is there anything I can do about it? At what point does Psalm 27:10 kick in? ("If my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will take me up." I actually want to get that tattooed on my forearm so I can be reminded of it every depressing day of the rest of my depressing 'life' of non-stop suffering.)

Not sure whether you'll see this since I don't know how to 'tag' someone on RUclips, but I'd really appreciate your response.
@@mooncove Well, technically, there's no you or anyone else to help in this world either.
I'm too lazy to look them up, but one of the books on Buddhism goes through arguments by Buddhists arguing against the possibility of god existing. I'd say it's also implicit in their belief in Atman. I wasn't thinking of anti-theist in the sense of them being militant.
Since you've studied it, any books you'd recommend?
PS: None of them are speaking to me anyway ... except for my father on and off or sending me messages through my husband. As a 'covert' or 'greater' narcissist depending on which expert you consult here on RUclips, my father is attempting yet another of his neverending 'malign hoover's intended to wound me yet AGAIN. And the reason it's incurable, except via a miracle, is because 'Narcissistic Personality Disorder' is more than a mental illness; it's a defect of _personality_ and usually a lifelong one that starts in early childhood in which LOVE is rejected as a weakness.)
.
(Yeah, that's one he copied and pasted at me direct from that site.)
I honestly believe the devil is successfully pushing _his_ buttons, and the reason he once gave for pushing his NON-belief in something on others convinced me he's just been looking for an excuse all these years to do whatever he wants and stop worrying about going to hell! Which was when, it seems to me, when he lost what once appeared to be his conscience--a living example and PROOF of rejecting Pascal's wager, that 'most atheists' think they've debunked!

Funny thing is: To those who try to tell us that Yeshua went to India and learned there, it actually makes Yeshua’s statement more profound when he says all those who came before me are thieves and robbers and no one gets to the Father except thru me.
These are the kinds of thinking processes needed for topics like this. Thank you.
I feel your understanding of Hinduism isn't complete as even Hinduism is actually a monotheistic religion as well, but has no set path to reach God and so Jesus could have easily combined his Jewish upbringing with Indian concept like Ahimsa and Karma to create the new religion of Christianity
I became complacent in my apologetics studies simply for the fact that I felt like I had went through all the good information already and just listening 2 Wes on Cameron's podcast yesterday got me very excited because he turned me on to some resources that I was previously unaware of I've been searching in this came in right on time❤ God is good🎉
Keep up the great work Wes !!!!
Thanks for this video Wes! A fellow Torontonian here of an Indian background. Got to know about you through a friend who is close to Mr. Vishal Mangalwadi (his wife and I are from the same city). God bless you my friend.
Great stuff Wess! Keep it up and stay humble.
this is great.. i am from India.. this has great information and reasonings to de prove his visit to India...
All I see from you is amazing! Thank you for educating us on Jesus and Christianity! Amazing work Wes! God bless you!
I’ve been mesmerized by Billy Carson………Then Wes Huff came along.
He acted like a Christian with much integrity when taking down Billy.
Glad I’ve stumbled across Wes
Listening to Wes talk so casually about Christianity and it's details and timelines and facts and untruths is teaching me so much about my own Faith. It's like listening to Joe Rogan in the early years of MMA commentate on a fight and explain what it is that's actually going on. Wes makes it so easy to understand like that. It's SUPER IMPRESSIVE the knowledge you have retained and know about Jesus and Christianity(and other religions too!).
So if Billy fact about Christ and miss information about the Bible does this mean all the information about the forgotten history and time line about lost civilization, questions to Mr Huff
Discovering Wes was exactly what i needed to call out the lies others are spreading
Awesome, Wess Huff. You've been doing amazing work for the body of Christ for several years now. Well done.
