    Thank you so much for this, I was very intimidated by body lotions and creams. I love herbal teas and this would be a great way to introduce them in my handmade products 💜💜💜💜

    How do you preserve it? If not preserved how long does it last? How do you store it?

    • @jodebottos4010

      A little bit of witch hazel or a few drops of vodka will help preserve. I also keep mine in the fridge because it feels so AMAZING when cold

      My question is preservation? with water you can get black mold and other bacteria. If you use this right away your probably alright. But does Vodka destroy the mold that can be created in this mixture, especially if it sits a while? I'm all for health and natural, but I don't want anyone getting sick from this either

      Hi Kathy! Sorry for the delay in response :) All of Janice's body care recipes here are meant to be used within a few days of making them. She doesn't include any preservatives in these recipes. I'd suggest keeping your recipes in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed jar/bottle if you'd like to stretch out the shelf life a bit. Otherwise, just make small batches to use more often! I hope that helps! - Gracie

    Why is "peppermint flavoring" used in your Mint Tea. ????

    • @mountainroseherbs
      @mountainroseherbs  2 года назад +3

      Hi there Joyce! All of the flavorings used in our teas are organic and are formulated specifically to be used in tea blends, and they are created using plant and herb extracts. All the tea flavorings are made with either water, alcohol, oil, or steam extraction depending on the best method for the ingredient being used. They contain no synthetic flavorings or artificial colors. So basically, the peppermint flavoring is added for a little extra minty zing :) I hope that helps! - Gracie

    The loud tones in the background make this very hard to listen to. Great info, just unfortunate its drown out with the extreme tones playing.

    My mom used to brew sun tea. I've heard recently that this is unhealthy because it can breed bacteria. Is this true?

      My mom mad tea in the sun too. It was great. I don't think you need to worry about bacteria. I am fine you are fine. My kids are fine.

      I doubr that myself. If you bring it in when it is strong enough it should be fine. Most black teas have some antibacterial properties. I have to say I don't always trust restaurant iced black tea. It often has been left long enough to have that Musty-Not fresh taste. That is what I would be worried about.
      Here in Northern Northern California... At 106* for many different days, for at least 2-3 hours..... I'm sure if you bring it in and refrigerate it... It' good and Healthy. :D

    Underarms???

    • @ZarahBee
      @ZarahBee 2 года назад +1

      Yes, there are a lot of lymph glands there, and it is important to detoxify them. I do an armpit detox several times a year with clay and apple cider vinegar.
