I love Mo'ne but Coach Steve is awesome. Seeing what he is doing for the kids in that community is heartwarming. Actually teaching them THEIR history and the game is something these kids rarely get. Big ups to Mo'ne and Coach Steve.
As long as I live I'll never forget that day watching the Little League world series first African-American girl pitched a no-hitter I cried like a baby tears of joy😂😂😂😂
This video brought a tear to my eye. It does take a village to raise a child. Mo'ne will inspire others to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.... Because dreams can come true....
Mo Nae Davis your part of my memory,I had a stroke in 2014(bleeding in my brain)when I woke up in the hospital I remember turning on the TV and I saw you Ms.Davis striking out players left and right and I said to myself that girl gone be a star.Even though I had memory lost I would never 4get her
She's just amazing! I wish I could be noticed by someone that can help me more with my sports & become a better player. Like her coach noticed something special about her ability in sports, so I hope someone besides my family would show or give me that much help and support to achieve my dreams🙏 She inspires me a lot and I really honor & respect her! She represented the girls, that we can do anything! I just inspire her💖
You can doubt it it all that you want, but once you get into the batter's box, you have to deal with it. This kid was really something. I can't imagine why anyone out there would find any reason at all to vote this story down.
Philly is flooded with all kinds of talent they're everywhere, Work sites, Schools, Public transportation and every corner you turn the proof is in the pudding some are all over your television screens right now. It's a fun City with major undiscovered talent pure entertainment but unlike New York these are regular people they're not on street corners singing and dancing.
She is great - but she has benefitted from a great role model in Steve Bandura. He has created a great program for the kids & deserves tremendous credit. I know she appreciates him & visa versa. In addition her Mom has been a tremendous influence for her as well.
So smart for her to choose an HBCU. More of our elite athletes should choose to attend HBCU to generate millions for our historic institutions. PWI have profited enough on our kids.....
I either see people talking about how beautiful she is or how she won’t be able to handle pitching cause she’s a girl or something about how she isn’t good, etc. kinda funny how many men try to defend their masculinity against her when in reality she’s great at what she does 😂
Actually women's arms cant take the stress that mens arms can and your probably going to attack me for this but she was an average player everyone just thinks she is better just because she is a girl
@@aidancooney3928 ofc they did. She is good but overrated bc she is a girl. She wont be able to catchup to guys when they get older because her body wont be able to handle as much as guys bodies will
I remember reading some of the negative comments years ago from haters hating on her, saying she couldn't pitch and other negative stuff. All the while she was on the cover of sports ill, different tv shows, visiting the white house and having her jersey inducted in Cooperstown, next to Derek Jeter's. I wish they'd hated on me like that.
She'll hopefully play D1 basketball. I can see her playing at a Penn State, Rutgers, Drexel, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, POSSIBLY Maryland. For the publicity and her character as well, I think she's worth the recruiting. She can help a program.
The problem unfortunately is that women’s arms can’t handle the stress that overhand pitching on the highest level presents, that’s why softball is underhand. Hell men’s arms can hardly handle throwing 98mph every few nights without blowing their arm out.
Its not fair that she got all this attention when that kid Austin from Las Vegas, Nevada was the best kid in the entire tournament. He didn’t get the same recognition.
Carter Swift she made history that's why, let the girl have her shine. She's a very unique talent unlike the kid from Austin you see lots of kids come through the LLWS just like or similar to him. We may not see someone like her for a long time.
Loving hearing the "kids" broadcast team at the Little League World Series. Soooo competent, especially the play by play guy. I just wish someone would tell Mo'ne to stop starting every sentence with "I mean...." Just a nervous habit, but it's distracting. Certainly knowledgeable, however....
She wants to be a coach after all of that if it’s allowed you could make millions in the mlb if women will be allowed by then but you wanna be a coach😂
Gus you are a an moron because she is etched in history because her jersey is in the baseball hall of fame that means you will be dead and gone nobody will ever remember you but they can always remember her...
She will go down as one of the most important Women in history. I saw what she did.
Stay humble Mo.
Wow! Beautiful, strong, intelligent, mature, positive, driven, INSPIRING, young woman. Wish her nothing but greatness.
I absolutely love her. She's the picture of class. I pray she stays hungry and positive.

She Has The Most Beautiful Eyes
Beautiful story. This is what I like to see on RUclips people helping each other no matter what. It takes a village.
what a classy young lady.
Awesome young lady. Keep it up
Loved watching her in the LLWS in 2014! She is going to change the world, good luck young lady!
She's really beautiful!

Classy, smart, and talented. I love it.
When the coach took them on the history tour 💞
She makes this Philly boy so proud. Love her!
this is my home work I love her I saw her here one year ago she is here right now
she’s so amazing and talented and pretty ugh i rmbr her when she won sportskid of the year!! she’s an actual star
And you would have never heard of her if she'd been a boy or white. What a crock of shit.
Forget about where Mo came from , the thing that's important is that she excelled ,no tokenism ,she was the best player on field hands down.
LOL
Well spoken, and pretty young lady..!!
Awesome Story, great job
YOU GO GIRL! SO PROUD OF YOU!!
I love this story
I remember watching her in the LLWS her pitching was nasty. She was striking boys out like crazy. It was awesome to watch.
That was the only game she did good in...
also at her age it’s not that amazing if you’ve been playing since a kid.
Not now
@@johnmarshall4399 obviously not pitching in the LLWS now. She’s 21 duhhh.
Man this is such a amazing inspiring video.

Yo crazy I was just watching her LL highlights last month

Bro that’s really crazy she is such an inspiration, I have also thrown 2 shutouts!
Man that's so Amazing I think monae will make it all the way to the majors in a sport she will choose.
💞Inspiring and Beautiful
In the great words of Kent Murphy
“Gone forever, Aaron Hernandez”
Soooo Pretty Keish 😍
She is a credit to her generation.
Role model for every young girl in the Inner city 💯💯
My daughter is going to be just like her..😌...and Flo Joe 😉🤟..Amazing.
Live what she's doing and the coach is great also

I hope she breaks that barrier!

Chipper Jones was first. She went to tbe world series in 1996.
The real Marion Anderson was Chipper Jones aunt. She was Jackie Mitchell.
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
She looks like a young MC Lyte. Super fine
i feel honored to have gotten a hit on her at the RBI regionals in 2016 lmao,
Dominik Allison good job, but she’s an average player and just gets recognition cause she’s a girl
Kelvin Nieves she’s also actually good
Bam
Mone is gettin cute, two more years fellas.

SHE'LL END UP PLAYING womens basketball nothing else. Women can't fuck with men in anything when going head to head. (sports)
21Sneaky right crazy. If she can hit and play the field she'd have a better chance
21Sneaky she's going to play basketball
Scoob T even with that the better boys get the worse she'll look
21Sneaky Women can be capable of things that men do too though... if we work as hard as y’all we can do it
1. She is beautiful
2. Retired that flag
hopefully she doesn't lose her femininity like most female athletes.
And that affects you how? xD
Brenda B cause she will look like Caitlin Jenner
Why tf does that matter?!
Why do you "hope" that?... You should be hoping for good health, wealth, and overall prosperity. Not a young athlete's femininity.
I'd like to see if women are good enough and strong enough to be in MLB. That would be interesting.
MrStr8leg that’s never happening, women are physically not able to do it. Davis would also not be a good candidate for it if it were to happen either
that flag in the beginging needs to be retired
Why can a girl play baseball but guys can’t play softball
What about Will Lucas nobody talks about him. Best shut out in history barely through any balls.
She the shit.
Mo’ne is bae 4 lyfeeeee I on god if I can get to marry her bruh
This girl looks beautiful natural you hair is very nice, my advise dont use rasta
Better than the bunchie kid who did the NFL superbowl ad.
Tryna be like coach Steve
That baby shooting free throws better than SHAQ!
She needs to hurry up and be 18❤
Well wait until June :)
Fucking hilarious.
She favors MC Lyte a little bit...
