I am on board with the Buddhist philosophy equates emotional feeling with body sensation. I believe that the reason that we are able to communicate emotions with such power when we sing, is that our voice carries the feelings/body sensations we are experiencing in our physical instruments, in real time.
I've wanted to hone in on sensations ever since I started singing professionally (too many years ago!) and you seem to have the goods.
