Anarkali has adopted a fake accent. It is clear. I watched Raini's program and her accent is genuine coz she grew up in the US. But Anarkalli has been living in the US for less than 4 years. I have heard her speak English on TV long before she left for the US and she did not have a funny fake accent. Looking at the comments I think Anarkali is using fake YT accounts to fight it. Anyways it is good to be yourself. The moment you try to be something you are not- disaster strikes. Just saying. Nothing against Anarkali.
Kids Channel accents change depending on different types of states you live. And obviously her accent changes from before she went to US and now because like you said she has been living in the US for almost 4 years. It’s easy to get an accent even when you live in another country for a year. Please stop being jealous and hating on people and appreciate what she’s doing that is she is trying to give Sri Lanka a good image internationally:)).
@@nuripam6350 Not so drastically Pam, your normal accent does not change so much within a few years unless you fakely adopt it. You have to grow up with it , then it becomes normal and genuine. come on , it's not jealousy its just facts. Have you watched Raini Gunathilaka's program? Now that is genuine, crisp and clear US accent where the pronunciation of the" r" and the "ow" and the tone isn't overly stressed. Anarkali on the other hand has the "A" (as in ඩැන්සිංinstead of ඩාන්සිං/ ඩිසැස්ටර් instead of ඩිසාස්ටර්) , the "R" and the "A "and also the tone she speaks are overly stressed. It comes across as fake and funny coz we all know Anarkali did not grow up in the US. Your accent does not change that easily. By the way can you please tell me how Anarkalli is trying to bring a good image to Sri lanka internationally? Is she doing any humanitarian work or is she a philanthropist or is she starring in a Hollywood movie or did she win an award for something unique??? what is she exactly doing??? Running a not so successful RUclips channel doesn't count as taking SL to an international level right. Look I have nothing against her. She is just cute and we Sri Lankans are just trying to put her on a high pedestal she does not deserve. Remember she used to be a joke in Sri Lanka. This isn't jealousy , just facts.
